From Rebecca the Salesperson who initially did our estimate, to Dylan, Jordan and Katlin the painters who came to our home, we have nothing but praise for them. They were all polite, professional, and knew their business in the painting department. They arrived on time as they stated, started immediately and did so with enthusiasm and a smile, they genuinely enjoyed what they were doing. I would not hesitate to recommend the Barrie WOW painting team to any of my family and friends. There are many painting companies available in this area, and the difference between the "Good" and the "Great" ones are in employee's and service, and the Barrie WOW painting team have both and are in the "Great" department. Thank-you so much for a job well done.

I hired the Wow company for the Eastern NC area. The owner came out gave me a quote, which was fair. When the WoW truck pulled up it was only one guy and he stayed outside on the phone most of the time. They ripped my floor put paint on door facing and ceiling. I called and complained, nothing done. I sent pictures of the damages to the corporate office still nothing. I do not recommend.

This is literally the worst paint job I’ve ever seen, and I have pictures to prove it. First of all our consultation was in early April and the painting wasn’t done until second week of October. Some of this was not the contractor’s fault it was due to a lot rain in Spring and having colors approved by HOA which took less than a week. I specifically said I did not want my house being painted in the middle of July when it’s the hottest because the paint will not cure properly and what does the guy do?? Contacts me during July. Also, I requested Sherwin-Williams highest grade paint, and they show up with Benjamin Moore mid-grade paint when they finally got around to painting. The man doing the consultation said, “oh that was the paint I was going to suggest,” and I gathered that at this point it was because he charged me more for paint. So the exterior part of my house, the wood above the front door, soffits, fascia, gutters, and windows were painted. I never observed any type of sanding/priming or anything that normally happens before you paint. One of the guys came over the day before and in 10-15minutes sprayed areas he was going to paint. I painted on one of the gutters a color sample and it was hard for me to reach to sand it, but I assumed they would sand it and wouldn’t paint over crackle paint but yep, they sure did!! They said they were done after two days. There was no walk-through. I just went out and glanced at a few things and said it looked good but then in closer inspection, I noticed one large fascia section above the garage was not painted in addition to the window above the garage. You can see the color bleeding through on the wood above the front door because there’s only one coat applied and you can see cracks on the shutters. In the contract, it states two coats to be applied. At times when the sun hits the shutters, it looks like it wasn’t painted at all. Under the soffits in multiple spots, you can see where the old color is bleeding through. You can’t put two coats on in two days. The people that they hire are inexperienced young boys. I don’t think they know what they’re doing. They got paint onmy brick around the windows and painted the black strip above the windows white. Somehow they slung paint on my new roof above the garage. They did not caulk around the windows like they said they were. Spots of wood that needed to be filled with with wood filler was not applied. All kinds of spots missed on close inspection, just literally a sloppy, sloppy job. I painted the front door and the trim casing around it myself, plus my garage door, and I’m so glad I didn’t let them paint over it. I can’t imagine what it would look like because I am OCD about straight lines. Not once has the owner come over in four months since this has been completed and looked at the shoddy work or even said let’s make this right. Our concerns were sent to him immediately. He really didn’t make any kind of reply other than the carpenter will come out when available to finish the project. This is because another piece of rotted wood needs to be replaced. The contractor/owner keeps assigning the carpenter other jobs that keep him from completing the work here. He is very difficult to get in touch with and will not return phone calls. We are considering suing him through an attorney.

I hired wow1day paintingfrom Mattawan MI to do a small job at my home. Was only the front of the house, garage and breezeway. I accepted the quote in November 2024 and paid it in full. In May I heard from the foreman about scheduling. He dropped the ball and moved. Someone was finally able to start, end of July August. It took 3 crews 3 days to do a very awful job. Jon agreed with my complaints, although he never looked at the job himself. He agreed to a partial refund and now I am being ignored by Jon. Paint on cement, brick, gutters, door and threshold as well as using my Werner ladder without permission and paint on that also. There’s more but that’s all I am saying! I do have pictures which show the shitty job and pages of emails where he twice told me the check was being processed ! I basically feel taken advantage of. I’m 71, social security is my only income. Maybe he thought I wouldn’t notice

Just terrible job. Overpriced. Stay away from them.

Bot Spam Factory Disguised as a Painting Company

This company is everywhere—not because of quality work, but because they’re clearly using bots to spam comment sections across social media on unrelated posts. It’s lazy, intrusive, and reeks of desperation.

If you have to rely on automated spam to get attention, maybe your work isn’t worth talking about in the first place.

Stop hijacking other people’s content to force engagement. It’s not marketing—it’s digital littering.

The painters completed painting within the agreed upon time-frame. While most of it seemed good, there were a few noticeable touch ups required. The back of one door was painted the wrong color than requested and cracks began to appear one some spots throughout the condo only a day after painting was done. Workers came back to fix these mistakes, though it made us question the quality of their work. After completing the touch ups, some cracks appeared again in the same spots and we noticed that all the paint throughout the condo was not washable. We purposely chose high quality paint and requested paint that wouldn't be impacted by cleaning the walls. Almost 6 months later and the paint still rubs off when we clean the walls with a cloth and water, leaving marks everywhere that we cannot get rid of unless we repaint ourselves. This is disappointing. As the paint job was done within a short time-frame, we believe that the painters did not wait long enough after sanding and washing the walls to apply the paint. We don't believe it is a problem of paint quality as we have used this paint before in another home we painted ourselves. Overall, the job was very poor quality, and we won't be using your company for any paint jobs in the future. There was also a disagreement with Simon -- he kept requesting more money even after we agreed on a set amount.

I initially got quotes from four different painters. Wow 1 Day Painting was referred to us by our realtor. They weren’t the cheapest option, but they showed me some incredible before-and-after photos of their work—especially examples of how they had transformed outdated fireplaces, which really caught my wife’s attention.

We have a relatively large house, and my wife wanted all the walls skim-coated and smoothed out to a Level 5 finish. This required multiple coats and took several days—honestly, I thought they might charge me extra at some point. But the final result was absolutely stunning. It completely transformed our mid-2000s home into a sleek, modern space, and it was well worth the time it took.

The fireplace initially didn’t turn out the way we had discussed, so they came back and spent several more days perfecting and refinishing it until it was flawless. To my surprise, they didn’t charge us a penny more—they just wanted to make sure it was right.

They were also incredibly thorough with the cleanup. I’d recommend Wow 1 Day Painting every day—and twice on Sunday—if you need painting done in the Austin area. Not just because the quality of their work is exceptional, but because they genuinely care about making sure the final result is exactly what you envisioned. It's some of the best customer service I’ve experienced from any company. I’m truly glad we chose them for our home.

WOW says it all. Arrived on time with a gang of people. They were all so friendly and pleasant. They completely reviewed the entire job before they began. Made sure all furniture and floors were protected. They did a super amazing job. The house looks fantastic.

I recently had the WOW Huntsville location paint a bathroom for me. I would give them a 9.5 out of 10. They were quick and still did a professional job. Technician was very pleasant and professional. I will be looking to use WOW again in the near future. Who knows, I may have them redo the whole interior of my home. Thanks.

I had an amazing experience with Wow 1 Day Painting. They were always on time, came early and stayed until they were finished. Any places that I wanted them to pay special attention to, they did. They were friendly, helpful and caring! I'm completely happy with the finished result.
They even helped me move some of my furniture!

I would have given it 5 stars, but there was a misunderstanding about what was to be painted and they ended up needing to touch up a wall with the six-year-old paint I had in my garage to fix it. Also, it was great that they reinstalled the window blinds, but I found out the day after they left that the installer completely missed a screw in the support bar. My daughter opened the blinds and the whole thing went crashing down. We lost a family vase because of it. I would have preferred to reinstall the blinds properly myself.
