If you’ve got an electric car, you need a cable that works. Every time. We make EV cables and portable chargers in the UK. That’s all we do. No distractions, no sidelines. Some might call that obsessive. They’d be right. Most people don’t spend much time thinking about cables. Until something doesn’t work. Wrong length, wrong type, poor build quality, or just confusing information when you’re trying to buy. That’s usually when they find us. We build everything to order in Buckinghamshire. That means you can choose the exact length, colour and type you need, rather than making do with a standard option. Every cable is tested before it leaves us, so it does what it’s meant to do when you plug it in. If you’re not sure what you need, we’ll help you figure it out. Properly. We regularly check orders before dispatch and get in touch if something doesn’t look right. It saves a lot of hassle later. Our cables are designed to last. And if something does go wrong down the line, we can repair them. Most cables are treated as disposable. We don’t think they should be. We supply individual drivers, businesses and fleets. The job is the same in all cases. Make charging simple. Make it reliable.

Perfect exerience, but Wottz and EV Cables?

I first used the evcables.com to learn about the cables that a neighbour and I needed, and I even called their helpline to clarify that each end was male v female plugs (probably obvious, but I thought it worth checking). Guy on the line was smart and pleasant, diret answer, so i quickly went on and bought 2 of different lengths that suit each me and my neighbour.
They arrived on time and of the quality and specification expected, less a 10% discount for buying two. Really straightforward, no fuss.
I think they should clarify the relationship between Wottz and EV Cables online presence, but otherwise all good.

Excellent delivery service

Excellent delivery service. Ordered a 17.5 metre charging cable to go with OHME Epod charger. Ordered on Tuesday and delivered within 48 hours.
Other suppliers only offered 15 m or 20 m cable lengths. 15 was too short and 20 was unnecessarily long and heavier , so the option of 17.5 m was a bonus.
Cable and connectors have worked perfectly from first plug in and interface between Volvo on board computer and OHME charger has been faultless.

Recent mail order purchase if 12.5m ev cable

Only just started using 12.5m cable recently. Looks and feels like a quality cable.

However i only gave a three star review because my very expensive cable (mail order) was packaged very poorly, insufficient strength etc in cardboard box used, arrived with tape barely holding it together.
Possibly look at improving the strength and durability if the cardboard boxes used for longer heavier lengths if cable.

Prompt delivery, item is well designed and has useful additional features which I was not expecting. Including information display, timer and current regulator
