The online woollies service which does not exist. Stay away!

The online woollies service has progressively been getting worse for the past 3 months, to the point where half the goods you order are not in stock and are not replaced - no matter what instruction you give on the delivery section. the driver informed me that EVERYONE he is delivering to is shouting at him because of their terrible service. Last month I ended up shopping at Checkers rather than supporting them. I gave them another chance thinking that if you choose substitue for similar items RATHER THAN THE CONTACT ME THEY WOULD. Toe nou nie!
I have also submitted a query online @ 12:20 on 10/10/22 and I will see if I even get a response. I'm not hopeful looking at the reviews on their dash app and by what the poor DSV driver was saying. I am not attempting to even try an get hold of them, as I did previously. Total waste of time.
Rather avoid ordering all together if you can't get to the shop in person. Now to check my bank statement and see what they charged.....2 week refund time before....
Every day I write and every day a standard template gets emailed (which is no response) except the platitudes and not checking the issues - In fact you blame the customer and make them out to be the idiot, hence I am determined to see this through.
As at 21/10/22 there has been no response just passing the buck to the store which seems to have disappeared of planet earth since they cannot even call nor does the manager there even have a name. Mall of Africa clients beware!
The situation is getting to the point where I cannot believe they are still in business.
An invalid elderly lady with no means of getting out of bed has been short changed again. Viva Woolies to looking after the planet but spurning your customers.
They do not know what work accountability is, nor do they care. Just spend your hard earned money with us so we can treat you like (you know what)...

Phone theft at Woolworths Tygervalley

My phone was stolen on Tuesday evening after 18.00 on 12 July 2022. Why is no one getting back to us on this? Where is the video footage? We were told we would have answers between 24 hours and 48 hours??? I have lost 6 months of my 1 year Old daughters memories and my new Samsung S21. Is there even security in Woolworths? My number is 0612341133. What is the delay? Now I am told your system is "off". No one, but no one from Woolworths is reaching out to us on this. It's a massive cause for concern.

Repeated harassment, sexist, toxic childlike work environment

Report sexual harassment to the Store Manager and get told you're not a victim, but a victor, then company let's it continue because the person in question is an ''asset" to the Woolworths Group. I heard when I came here to “be careful”, and from more than three women “everyone knows what he’s like” and “nothing will change” after detailing my experience with assistant manager of the BIG W store I worked at. I went to another manager for help, then when I reported the harassment to the company in writing she said it didn't happen. Employee Relations Manager threatened legal action if I continue voicing my experience. Early on working here I thought my younger sister could have her first job here as the environment is relaxed and welcoming. They will actually believe one managers word over visual evidence in writing of herself acknowledging this was occurring and the ‘asset’ himself saying in writing he saw nonissue with his behaviour toward me. This inappropriate behaviour I experienced has been reported more than once by employees, but the company does not care because he is an asset. Currently in the process of a workcover claim for the mental effects this job had on me and what the company let to continue happen. Further reporting it to work oh&s bodies as well as the Police in the way the company themselves have handled a manager stalking a worker at work when he was told not to be there around them. The company has to contradict themselves and say he “had to do his contracted hours” and then “You were asked to stay back so you came across each other”. They heard time and time again how this was making me feel mentally, and still do not care.

- If you aren't favorited by management, you will not get good hours or treated with respect. I went from 15 hours a week to 38 hours, then I reported my managers harassment and saw that decrease to 15 hrs again

- Sexist and ageist. I see male managers treat the older women the here in ways that would suggest the company encourages sexism

- The company will do as much as possible to deny liability for issues raised that their store managers REFUSED to handle because the close personal relationships policy was too hard for them to work by
- When I reported Sexual Harassment, my store manager said this wasn’t a work issue.

Woolworths Castle Gate

Woolworths Food (Castle Gate) has the most friendly staff! I’m also very impressed with the stock levels - I always find what I am looking for and the store is neat and tidy. Thank you for always giving us the best experience shopping at your store!

Gift packaging

Ordered a gift delivery of flowers for Mother's day. The flowers were simply thrown in a plastic bag, with the price tag on! I'm extremely disappointed at the lack of basic service when purchasing a gift. Do yourself a favour and buy your gifts elsewhere.

Order impossible to track

Order impossible to track

I ordered some food items for my mother as a birthday present. WW site confirmed the delivery for the following day.
After five days there has been no delivery despite the WW website indicating "out for delivery" since the due date.
To make matters worse, I contacted them via their online form four days ago and have yet to receive a response.
Calling their help line was much the same experience: The representative could only tell me that their Cresta branch was supposed to deliver the goods, but that he could not get in touch with them to obtain a status.
He undertook to ring back within the hour, that was 24 hours ago..
If this was a startup company, I would by now assume that they were running a scam; very disappointing from a large company that should have the resources to deal with online ordering.
To add insult to injury their website is not setup very well: for example their online form does not allow for a colon to be inserted in the text- of course this only becomes evident after trying to remove different characters from the text.
Never again…

Thieves!

For the last 2 months I have been struggling to get a fairly sizeable refund paid out to me. Not only was it WW Online shopping's mistake but they billed extra and tried to tell me I was in the wrong. After finally admitting their mistake the refund was "processed" but never paid. I waited the ridiculous 3 weeks for it to reflect in my account & have since had to start the whole conversation over again. WW are not active on hellopeter and simply just stonewall any attempt to speak to managers or anyone with the authority to get things done. At this point it is downright theft. Not only was i incorrectly billed, but I am now out of pocket almost 60 days due to their mistake. Not even an apology. Be careful with online orders and check your receipts !!!

Our Woolworths food outlet at Engen…

Our Woolworths food outlet at Engen Claremont is really "lekker". It has a great selection of food sorts and the people at the till is always smiling and friendly. Even if it's late at night they are always good for a smile. Rock on guys.

Woolworths food stores

The Woolworths account system has really helped allot in times of dire straits just to get me and my kids through the month and knowing that there's not always enough time in a day to stand Infront of a stove, the ready prepared food made life simpler.

The food is always fresh and for days when you want to buy something for the lowest prices when you scratch for pennies in your purse, there's always another department within Woolworths to get off the shelve, non-expired item's to Cary you through the day.

I also love the fact that Woolworths caters for the needy supporting non profit organisations to help the needy with some portion of their products.

Thank you Woolworths for caring
