I first met Howard back in 1979 when I began my martial arts journey at a local club. I was a complete beginner and training with him was one of the best decisions I made. From day one, he believed in me, and challenged me to achieve more than I thought I was capable of. His passion and genuine commitment really sets him apart. Thanks to his guidance, I not only improved my technique and fitness but also gained confidence, discipline and resilience that I carry with me beyond the gym. I went on to achieve my black belt and became an instructor at the club he founded, where I had trained. His passion for martial arts and kick boxing, plus his genuine commitment to his students really sets him apart. I highly recommend Howard to anyone looking for a coach who truly cares about their students’ growth and success.

I joined Kash in 1992 and never looked back, from day one I dreamed of being a black belt, on reaching this I then became an instructor in 2002, Kash has been an incredible support though out my journey, more recently I've had one on one training with Kash to pass my 2nd Degree Black Belt. Why compromise, Learn from the best to be the best.

Kash & Howard are Kickboxing legends with decades of experience teaching martial arts to generations of students.
The skills you learn you carry for life; the warm up routines, stretching techniques, defence & attack and movement. If you get the bug, you will do some form of activity all through your life.

Kash is a great teacher. I know him since around 2017 when I was looking for a kickboxing institute to help both my physical and mental health. He taught us the styles with some karate which I used to do. At the moment, I am working towards my advance level of grading and he is motivating me to reach my potential.

I’ve known Howard since the late 70s, I also known Kash for a very long time, I was at many of both of their fights. In 1982 I travelled with Howard to Germany where he fought his long time nemesis and I was privileged to be on team. I was there along with Dev Barrett Godfrey Butler. I can’t remember the others. Kash was not on this show. We certainly gave the Germans a good run for their money on Home soil. Anyway, I’m still in touch with Howard and if you ask me to say something negative or bad about him, I couldn’t. Although Dev Barrett was always my coach, I used to go over sometimes to Broad Street and train with Howard his brother edge and a few of that crew. I still talk to Howard regular and nothing has changed as he is still the same. It’s pleasure to know them both and what they both done for full contact karate kickboxing I wish them both the very best.

The training materials are easy to access and follow, making it simple to build practical skills and confidence. Alongside this, the support and communication from WKI has been excellent. The focus on coaching kickboxing effectively and correctly is very impressive.

Kash used to train myself back in the 1980s as a child and now all these years later he is training my son on one to one session. Always professional and always smiling. Howard and kash have many years of experience and knowledge between them and make excellent coaches.

My daughter trained with Kash Gill bringing her on from a quiet nervous child to a confident young lady. She excelled in ability and confidence purely down to the excellent coaching and support Kash and his team invested in her. She’s now chosen a career in the police service which she is working towards. Confidence and team building taught by her world class coach KTF Gill.

I have been studying kickboxing [and modern freestyle karate] from principally Kash 'The Flash' Gill since September 1987, with Howard 'The Hawk' Brown leading courses and assessments in those years. My learning experience was second to none. At the time I was studying teaching and coaching at Birmingham University, and I saw many of the methods and practises I was learning being used in the classes; I was also coaching at the time and so knew what poor coaching looked like. Their sessions were not that - they were always professionally organised, well-structured and engaged everyone, from young to old and beginner to advanced. They were always able to help and improve anyone, no matter what their physical condition or understanding level.
I have now been with them for 39 years, have achieved 4th Degree Black Belt [5th Dan] and lead my own classes in Scotland. It was Kash who instilled the confidence in me to do this, and has been on hand to offer assistance whenever it was required, from ideas to coaching to technique reviews. So I am quite sure that the World Kickboxing Institute will be a major force in kickboxing coaching, and will be the organisation to turn to for those who want to develop their coaching ability and/or improve their skill set as a personal trainer.

Kash is a brillant teacher , I’ve learnt a lot from him. One of the best in world and a true gentleman.. a living legend

I have known Howard for over 45 years and can honestly say he is one of the finest martial artists and instructors I have ever met. He trained me from complete beginner through to black belt level, and under his guidance I went on to become an instructor at the club he founded back in 1980, where Kash was also a student at the time, achieve my 3rd Degree Black Belt, and successfully compete in many competitions.

Howard’s technical expertise in the ring was exceptional. I had the privilege of watching him fight as World Champion on many occasions, and his precision, control, and professionalism were outstanding. However, what makes him truly special is who he is outside the ring - humble, grounded, approachable, and completely dedicated to helping others achieve their potential.

The World Kickboxing Institute will undoubtedly reflect the same high standards, integrity, and passion that he has always demonstrated. I would highly recommend the institute to anyone looking for authentic kickboxing coaching from people with genuine experience, knowledge, and character.

I spent a few Years learning Karate and also spent a lot of time Boxing Competitively But when I heard about kickboxing I thought I got to give this a go'
After reading articles on the Internet about kickboxing Howard Brown and Kash the flash Gill I thought there has to be somewhere in Birmingham I can go and train and hopefully meet these People I'd read about'
And when I finally found a Club that Howard Brown and Kash the flash taught it was a dream come true'
The Classes were great it was like a family they made You feel at ease and the training sessions were very Good Great techniques Blending Boxing and Kicking techniques I never wanted the Classes to end they were both supportive and helped building Confidence and when You left to go Home You knew You had found something special the Classes I took with Howard and Kash were Priceless nothing compares to the training sessions I had I learnt alot from them and I'm truly Greatful for their time' everybody who trained there gained alot of knowledge and insight into training' I wish I could turn the Clocks back them times being trained by Kash and Howard are Priceless
