We would like to respond to the above review in order to provide further clarity. The sunglasses you ordered were part of the up to 10 working day delivery and therefore ordering the glasses a week prior to when you were leaving for your holiday would not guarantee that you would have received them before you left
We note that your glasses were sent out for delivery one (working) day after the expected delivery time, but a further delay was caused as nobody was available to receive the package the next day.
We would like to apologise for sending out the package a day later than expected.

The delay in sending my order meant I could not use the glasses for my holiday. I did not get a email regarding my order until I emailed to find out where my glasses were. I didn't not feel the tone of the email was particularly supportive. It was very much you didn't request 24 hour delivery so there! Why advertise glasses for sale when you have't got then in stock ready to send when the order comes in?

Our delivery and returns conditions are once of the first items seen on our homepage to encourage people to take a look before making a purchase. The glasses with a 24 hour delivery symbol indicates the delivery time for the particular item.
All of our customers receive an automatic confirmation email once the order have been made. In this email, you are advised of the 2 possible time frames and are also encouraged to read the delivery conditions. We received your contact a week after placing your order and we explained that because the item your ordered did not have a 24 hour symbol, we had to order your glasses from the manufacturer, making the delivery part of the 10 working day time frame. We are sorry to read that you felt that our response was supportive and would like to assure you that this was this was not our intention.
