Reiss made several false promises to me before my wedding, assuring me not to stress and that everything would be fine on the day. Unfortunately, the food was a complete disaster—overcooked and disappointing. My entire family complained, including relatives who traveled long distances, even from Scotland. For the amount I paid, it’s unacceptable for a catering company to act as though they’re professional when they clearly are not. That was my hard-earned money wasted.
I’m currently in dispute with my bank, as I’ve received no support, compensation, or proper explanation. The only excuse I was given was that the head chef passed away on the wedding day, and an inexperienced replacement was brought in. While I sympathize with the situation, this is highly unprofessional. You only get one wedding day in your life, and mistakes of this scale are unforgivable. Companies that operate like this should not exist.
