I’ve just renewed my rental agreement …

I’ve just renewed my rental agreement with the company, and have been pleased with the service I have received. I only operate a seasonal business so I don’t use my machine on a daily basis but it is so important to have a system that works when I need it to. I’ve dealt with Matthew, and he has been very good. There was one instance where I was at a venue and the terminal froze, but Matthew immediately supported me to get the issue resolved in a matter of minutes. I cannot speak highly enough about him and his efforts to go far above and beyond his job remit. He’s an asset to your organisation whilst having a clear ability to think on his feet and adopt a pro active approach and most importantly being patient.

Fantastic

I have only just signed up to this provider, so cannot say how it operates over a longer term period, but the support given in making the arrangement to put two payment systems in place has been very good. Mark could not have done more to support us, he was extremely patient and nothing seemed too much. All the transactions have reached our account very quickly. All in all, very good, speedy service.

Excellent

Excellent! Plain and simple and to the point (without any of the long winded jargon which confuses me) I found other companies I’ve spoken to, desperately tried to up sell products which we as a business didn’t need. One thing that was really good, I received my email quote within 15 minutes of our phone call (other companies took a few days to reply) Thank you for your support.

Got a wireless terminal from this …

Got a wireless terminal from this company for my business on Friday 10th November. After many calls with the tech team it didn’t work in our desired location due to Signal.

Bare in mind I had 4G on my phone… their GPRS terminal didn’t work in this area. That’s how out of date the equipment is. No over the weekend support left us without a terminal.

The following week was back and forth with “Tests” much to my annoyance as we all knew it wouldn’t work as THEIR TERMINAL couldn’t find signal. I’m doing all this around running a high street shop, I was going back and forth to pop up shop sitting on the phone trying to get it to work. I advised I was returning the terminal that day – Which I did. They said they would send me a bluetooth one the next day. It arrived Friday morning – with no charger so it couldn’t be used "We will send you the charger to the shop, I can’t believe there wasn’t one in the box"… no good when I need it 6 miles away with no way of getting it until Monday. The complaint response said apparently they were “Under the assumption” I still had the old terminal even though I told Matt the sales manager it would be returned that day. However running the risk of another weekend with no tech support I sent that machine back sick and tired of their poor service, which I knew would drag on for more and more days when I needed a working terminal.

I complained via email which was dealt with very well, however when I requested a refund for the REMAINING part of the contract, because I thought I would be fair as I did have their terminals in my possession – Baring in mind that I hadn’t used their terminals AT ALL for the first 9 days. I was refused. We have since settled on £69 +VAT when I originally asked for £139 + VAT… A heavy price to pay when I didn’t make one sale with their machines. I’ve lost £91 to this company + £25 in postage costs for NOTHING.

With a lot of factually incorrect statements my favourite being "Rest assured before a terminal is deployed, it undertakes stringent checks to ensure it is fit for purpose and also undertakes a test transaction with the bank directly” Stringent checks that it works in their office… that’s it. As they confirmed not the phone, I wouldn’t get a refund as It worked in their office – This is they kind of company you are dealing with.

So here I am writing a review.. Which I WISH I had read before I used this company. Long and the short is.. If you are willing to run the risk of it not working go right ahead but you won’t get your money back… "Because it worked in their office"

Horrible company to trade with who are just money grabbers not interest in customer service or retaining business. I have spoken to other providers who weren't surprised at all about the service we recieved as its typical for them. Be warned.

I sincerely apologise that you feel this way.

The Ingenico mobile card terminals are the leading mobile card machine in the UK and offer contactless enabled technology. All equipment is PCI compliant with every acquiring bank. Unfortunately with any sim connected equipment, we cannot guarantee signal (which is stated in our terms and conditions). Mobile connectivity is beyond our control but we will always strive to support a customer wherever possible.

Unfortunately with any technology, our engineers needed to do some troubleshooting to identify the issues, and I'm sorry that you weren’t happy with the response time. We are passionate about customer service and this is why we offered the swap out facility offering an alternative model of card machine. In instances of a swap out we normally advise the customer to retain the charging unit, unfortunately, it appears there was a breakdown of communication and by the time we'd deployed your portable swap out handset, you had already posted the original handset back to us.

In relation to the issue concerning terminal checks. We undertake rigorous tests before a handset is deployed in-house, and this also extends to the diagnostics on the return should an issue arise. I can confirm that all diagnostics came back clear.

I know from looking at our records you spoke extensively with our technical engineer Lee at the weekend and there was an instance where calls were missed during the week and I can only apologise for that.

We agreed to cancel down the remainder of the rental as a gesture of goodwill whilst refunding a proportion of the rental fee.
We assure you that your feedback will give us the opportunity to remedy any problem that may exist, and help to improve our short term hire service further. We also note your feedback on this particular hire, and all problems have been noted to help improve our short term rentals. Should you require any additional information please do not hesitate to get in touch.

We value your feedback and complaint and will use this constructively to look at the current systems and processes already in place in order to improve our service and efficiency.

Very Happy! Great service!

I was very pleased with how Lee sorted the changeover for me. Not only have I saved money but I now have a superior terminal. Lee was extremely professional, helpful and with us being a local company I feel assured that support will be on hand should I require this. I received my mobile terminal in a little over 3 days, and was very impressed with the ease of use and how I can take quick payments all over the country. This machine is perfect for my business. I would recommend card saver to any business especially GPRS terminal

Terrible company to deal with

I Purchased a brand new card machine for nearly £700 and paid proforma they dispatched me an ex rental machine when i called up, they apologized and said they would send me out a new machine, It arrived the next day but wasn't new although better condition than the original machine, when I called up this time they insisted that it was new although everyone in my office (8 people) all said it was definitely used,
they then turned rude to me and weren't prepared to listen in the end i returned both machines and has to pay half the postage!!!!! and took 2 weeks to refund the money
AVOID AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU WANT GRIEF!!!

In response to your reply this is completely untrue if it were the case that you can prove it was new please do because you admitted to me that I was sent a used one in error. Secondly when I called up 2 days after I returned it I was told you had received the machine back but had to wait for someone to return from annual leave to process the refund that story only changed 2 weeks later and blame it on TNT. In conclusion either way you look at it I was lied to This only reconfirms my original position to avoid this company who feel the need to lie their way out of justified criticism.

Thank you for your feedback. Rest assured it was a new card machine and as discussed with our advisor we could provide a serial number to verify this from the manufacturer.

You were refunded within 24 hours of the terminals being returned to our offices (there was a gap in between where TNT's system went down through no fault of our own, and that resulted in the terminals being returned to us later than envisaged).

We know you are extremely disappointed at the turn of events, and we are extremely passionate about customer service and will always look to get an issue resolved wherever possible.

We assure you that your complaint and feedback will give the opportunity to remedy any problem that may exist and help to improve our service further. We wish you well.

No good at all

Really rubbish experience, we needed to take card payments over a festival weekend, paid them a large sum of money to be able to do that. The machines stopped working after a couple of payments, and we lost what is atleast to us, vast amounts of money in sales. We'd also paid a lot of money to be at the festival at all!

During the event it was hard to get support as it was the weekend, and they couldn't replace the card terminal as it was a weekend - it's important to note they still charge you for the same amount of cover over the weekends as they do in week days when might actually have that support..

We did eventually get our money back that we'd paid as they agreed the terminal they sent out had stopped working through no fault of our own, but it was pushing water uphill to do so! However they weren't even vaguely interested in compensating us for the huge loss of earnings - not even a good will gesture. We found them really rude, blunt and disrespectful, and they also would not refund us the 50 pounds taken by the bank they set up the terminal with - a bank partnered with by them, not us. Thankfully the Bank in question was much much better, and although they initially agreed with us that it was Wireless Terminal Solutions that should refund the 50, when they found out they had refused, they were fantastic to us and refunded it to us themselves as they agreed we shouldn't be losing out for it! I left them great feedback as I thought they were really honest and respectful.

Overall I'd avoid these guys, there are much better companies out there!
