We were really pleased with Tom, Jimmy and Lewis. Our extension was a large complicated build with plenty of challenges and the team were really professional and helpful throughout. They did a great job overcoming the challenges of the build and we felt we were in very capable hands with their work. We are very happy with the final results of the job and would definitely recommend to others.

Winrose recently completed a project at our house, and we are absolutely delighted with the end result. We have watched enough home improvement programmes to know that things never go according to plan. There were minor hiccups along the way, and one unforeseen issue, but everything was dealt with extremely professionally and as close to our budget as we could have hoped for. They were flexible when we wanted to change things, and always really helpful with suggestions. We were living in our house while the work was going on, and the team were respectful of that and a lot of fun to have around. The quality of their work has been fantastic, and we would not hesitate to have them back or recommend them to others. Thank you very much for everything you have done. We love it.

We recently had extensive building works carried out by Windsor, Involving the transformation of two seperate rooms into a spacious open plan kitchen/Diner. The project included installation of structural steels, bifold doors, velux windows, a new kitchen and seperate utility room.

From the outset Tom, Lewis and Jimmy were a pleasure to deal with - consistently punctual, highly professional and impressively tidy throughout the entire build. Communication was excellent and they kept us informed every step of the way.

We moved into our new house in 2023 and needed a complete kitchen remodel, involving two knockthroughs, two steel beams installed, rewiring and replumbing.

We planned the project well in advance and Tom was patient and communicative from the first meeting to project completion.

As always there were unexpected problems along the way but Lewis, Tom and Jimmy were always able to come up with pragmatic options and creative solutions that meant we didn’t lose too much time overall.

The guys were friendly and professional, punctual and would always consult us on changes needed as the job progressed.

Overall the project took slightly longer and was a little over the original quote but this was due to unexpected issues like replacing all the joists above the kitchen which they could not have predicted beforehand.

We’re are extremely pleased with the new kitchen and would definitely recommend the Winrose team - so much so that we have just started another job with them in creating an en suite for our bedroom and refitting our existing shower room.

We are halfway through the build of an oak framed, brick and tile, outside kitchen and entertaining area. Tom and his Team have been great to work with. Tom is attentive and knowledgable, dedicated to delivering a quality job. An easy 5 star recommendation

Tom and his team were great. Tom quoted and carried out the work quickly, and to a good standard. He kept me informed all the way through and I didn’t have to chase for anything. We would definitely use Winrose again. All the builders and decorators were very helpful and friendly.

26 months and still waiting for work to be complete. Scaffolding been up for the last 6 months and I’ve had to do lots of snagging work and project management myself. It’s been a long painful experience dealing with this company. I have had no choice but to put this review up as cannot see an end insight. PAINFUL AND STRESSFUL. Never again. FINISH OUR JOB!

Tom and his team recently carried out a home interior refurbishment project for us turning a kitchen into a snug and we are very pleased with the result. The project kept to the budget and finished in the timescale discussed.

His team were friendly, polite and punctual and discussed all aspects of the project with us throughout. It was smooth and painless for us and they were very helpful working round some specific needs we had and have done an excellent job.

We can highly recommend Winrose and would definitely use them again for future projects we have in mind.

2 years and counting….

Tom and his guys refurbishment my old tired looking utility room into a spacious utility/dog room. They guys were always punctual, very pleasant and very hard working.

Tom and team at Winrose completed an extension and internal renovation on our Victorian property over a couple of phases. Quality, details and materials that are sympathetic to the property were key for us. It’s fair to say we are very satisfied with the finished job and particularly benefited with consistency of team delivering.

Tom took on the refurbishment and remodelling of our very dated 3 bed bungalow. His quote was competitive and he was happy to show us other work recently completed. The work included the building of a kitchen extension, redesigning and moving internal walls to make better use of the internal space. It also included relandscaping the back and front, with a large tarmac driveway and indian sandstone patio and new retaining wall and steps.

The work was begun at the end of 2019 and was finished in the early Summer of 2020, at a time when the first lockdown made it extremely difficult to get materials and tradesmen onsite. He showed excellent perseverance during this times and while the conditions meant that work was held up, he did whatever he could to ensure that the project moved forward.

The quality of the end result speaks for itself. He added thoughtful additional features and definitely went the extra mile to accommodate our needs and even improve on the spec we had given him.

I would definitely use Tom's services again because you can trust that you are going to get an excellent end product.

We are very pleased with the extension that Tom and his team completed on our house. Tom ensured that we were happy with each aspect of the job, including matching the existing bricks and tiles exactly. They were very accommodating when we made adjustments to the original plan and discussed every part of the job as it progressed. We are very impressed with the standard of the workmanship (and we have high standards!). All of the team who worked here were very friendly, professional and polite. Tom visited the site everyday and regularly checked that we were happy with progress. They tidied the site at the end of every day and stored their materials and tools considerately. We would recommend Winrose Construction for the standard of the workmanship and their attitude to the work, we couldn’t be more pleased with our extension.

I approached Tom and his team to help me with a redesign of my kitchen and the renovation works. We redesigned the layout of the kitchen, removed a utility room and installed steels across the back of the house to enable large bifold doors to be installed. From day one Tom and the team were very efficient, polite and punctual. Tom kept me updated all of the way through the project and even completed some additional works I asked them to do while they were working on the kitchen project. Overall a great service and I am more than happy with the work they completed.
