My home was built in 1983 and this is the first time the windows are being replaced. This has lowered my energy bill and my house does not feel as cold or hot during the changes of seasons. I love Window Nation.

On March 30th we signed a contract with Window Nation to replace our windows, we knew we had seven days to cancel as specified on the "NOTICE OF CANCELATION". On April 1st we drove to their office located at 871 Cromwell Park Drive, Glen Burnie, Md 21601 signed the "NOTICE OF CANCELATION" and had the manager Shawn William also sign and date the "NOTICE OF CANCELATION". I was told I would have my refund in 10 days. It is now April the 28th and when I called their office they tell me someone will get back to me in two days. I guess I will need to seek legal counsel in order to get my money back.

Scheduled an in-home estimate with Window Nation for 7 PM and they completely no-showed—no call, no text, nothing. Took time out of my evening for this and got zero communication or respect for my time. If this is how they handle appointments, it doesn’t give much confidence in how they handle actual projects. Really disappointing first impression.

Last year, my husband and I bit the bullet and invested in new windows by the Window Nation. The process began in spring, and the windows were done and installed by July. The sales rep was quick efficient and to the point during his presentation. We paid over $21,000 for 12 windows. And we’re told that these windows were the top of the line windows, the best windows that they sell. The install day was quick and efficient. The men really worked hard but after the install was complete we had two issues with our windows that we immediately noticed, one in our kitchen which had an air leak and was hazy at the time of install and another window in our basement that wouldn’t open or shut correctly. A tech came out to inspect the issues and couldn’t believe that they would install a hazy window, he said they will replace that. The basement window size was off by just a little and he had a new one made, and that one was replaced as well. Then moving into December as the cold months were starting to hit, we noticed major cold air drafts coming through the bedrooms. Are electric/gas bill had drastically gone up. The bedrooms were so cold continuously and we didn’t understand why our rooms were so cold when new windows had been installed. Come to find out that these slider windows that were installed in the bedrooms, have a drainage area for water to escape, and there is a major draft of cold air that comes in through this window design. For being the top of the line window, you would expect to have a better design. We had both a tech from window, Nation and a tech from the window manufacturer come and check the windows. They all said this was the design of the window and nothing could be done, but that we could put a blanket or towel there for when it gets cold to block the cold air from coming in. This isn’t the response you want to hear when you just spent so much money on brand new windows. Our 25 year old slider windows that we had previously didn’t have any issues with cold drafts coming in. We simply wanted new windows to help our house be more energy efficient and these new windows let more air in. To invest in a product and expect the best, we are highly disappointed. Due to the numerous issues we are extremely dissatisfied with the quality and outcome of these windows. Given that there is no viable solution to correct these air leak issues, our disappointment is significant. Knowing now that nothing can be done to fix our windows is incredibly frustrating. We truly wish we had been given this information upfront, as we would not have moved forward with the purchase.

When we first got our windows installed, we recommended Window Nation all the time. The windows are beautiful, super functional and smooth, and install went well. However, we have experienced a number of issues with our windows and screens, and the process to get them resolved has been inconvenient and cumbersome. We do have a lifetime warranty, which they have honored, but the process is extremely difficult and slow. We also had an issue with a rip in one of our screens. We were told by the salesman that they also had a lifetime warranty, but were then told by Window Nation months later that we needed to register our screens within 30 days in order to qualify for the warranty, the instructions of which were never given to us. I don’t appreciate the duplicitous and overly complex nature of the company and issue resolution. They were absolutely invested in getting the sale, but not in customer satisfaction.

I signed the initial contract in September, but the windows were not ready for installation until late January. My main reason for ordering the windows in September was to have them installed before the winter set in. Once scheduled, the installers did a very nice job. No complaints on the workmanship or installation.

The customer service has been horrible at responding to and communicating with me. My issue is simply one piece of exterior window frame cladding fell off. It took over two weeks from my first contact for someone to come out. He didn't have a ladder tall enough (although I had said it was on the third floor), but told me it was like a five minute fix and the service people would call to set up an appointment. I have YET to have anyone contact me about setting up an appointment. The central Window Nation number has called me a couple times saying they would have the regional service people contact me about coming out, but I have yet to hear from them. In the meantime we have had a heavy downpour and now a snowstorm. Through this, my window frame remains exposed and unprotected. I understand that the holidays and a major snow storm have occurred during this timeframe, yet to not have ANYONE even try to set up an appointment with me is frustrating. Especially since I HAD to pay a $150 service fee for anyone to even come out. And I had to pay that in advance. At this point I feel scammed out of $150 and the one guy took the actual window frame piece with him. I just want someone to come out and put the piece back up. I don't even need a set appointment and I don't need to be home. In fact, I am not really in the mood to talk to anyone from Window Nation anymore because I probably won't be polite.

The representatives where nice and the windows look nice but the quality is subpar due to the volume of sound that travels through their double pane windows. I live 25miles from BWI and never had an issue with the sound of planes flying over my house but even since replacing my single pane windows for window connections double pane windows, I'm constantly getting woken up on the middle the night to the sound of planes. I'm not sure if the cold has anything to do with it but I wish I kept my old windows instead of paying all this money to window connections just to be woken up in the middle of almost every night.

From the knowledge of the salesman, Jim, we spoke with, to the professional, courteous, and punctual installers, everything was great. We've already received compliments from a neighbor. Joe answered questions, was patient with our changes, and was very knowledgeable. His suggestions were also warranted. The installers used drop cloths and plastic to cover furniture and floors. They answered questions along the way, demonstrated how to operate the windows, and cleaned up after the project was finished.
The only hiccup was getting in touch with the local branch to reschedule...but Joe was able to help. Kudos to Window Nation. We even got a cruise out of the deal.

From my sales professional Logan L. who was very knowledgeable and professional to Sheila with HOA to the installation team who were timely and respectful of property I give window nation 10/10. Cost beats the competition without compromising on quality.

Our slider door handle is not ergonomically correct. We did not realize there could be an issue with a sliding door handle. This was our 2nd job - we had 19 windows installed. On the slider door install date, we immediately alerted installers there was a problem and they reported. A technician came to look at it, took pictures and agreed there was a problem. I was told a part was being ordered, which we assumed would be a longer lock flip switch. Same technician returned without a part and we were told he would escalate. Months later and we are using a dish towel to pull our slider door open.

The crew was great and when they hit an issue was able to pivot and come back the next day to finish for a beautiful result.
