Timely service

The installer team did a great job, trying to be as careful, clean, and helpful as possible. Some of the windows were top notch. Others, not so much. This was a big job -31 windows and two French doors. (The total installed price was over $70k.)
The sales guy showed us a sample of double hung (over & under) which was very nice. You can flip those inside for easy cleaning -important on second floor windows. But some of our larger slider windows we were told could also be swung in for cleaning. Actually, they have to be removed from their tracks. These windows are 70 inches high by 30 inches wide each and weigh about 70 lbs! Not as easy as swing out windows! Plus, due to the size of the windows, the "pull" on the edge of the windows bends quite a bit and doesn't appear structurally attached to the frame -snapped on rather than welded. A large arched window that goes over the bath tub in the master has an interior pane that is so thin that we are afraid it will be broken. It flexes in almost an inch like plastic, not like glass. They are sending out a service guy to examine the "floppy" glass. The French Doors are very nice -and they should be. They ran almost $10k apiece installed. Overall: Satisfied but wish I had had a sample of the sliding windows to examine before swapping them from double hung.

Lukas was Exceptional! He was much more Customer Service Oriented than when we purchased our windows a few years ago! He checked every window for leaks around the screens! He was honest & down to Earth!

Service and schedule

Love the windows and how they look. The installation was good they only thing was that they brought the incorrect window and had to reschedule for around a month later which was September now it September they get here and look at the window and state they have wrong size again. So I guess I will be waiting another month and hopefully they bring the correct window.

It is OK. This is first time with a new window.

Salesman good and installers good. Have a replacement glass warranty. Called C.S. to replace a broken glass. Was told it would cost me about $175.00. Called Salesman and he took care of it. Service guy shows up and has the glass only. We both agreed that it should be the whole sash from the factory. He left. It's been a week and have not heard from anyone at WN. I expected more out of WN after spending over $25,000.00 with them. Been about 6 months and I still have a broken window. Never had this problem when I used another window company (WW) at my previous address! Very poor support after the sales that WN needs to address! Still waiting to hear back from them.

They arrived at the time scheduled and completed the window within two hours. My husband was even asked to inspect the work during and after completion. I would say it was a job well done.

Salesman was incredibly pushy. He didn’t consider the window types I wanted. He kept dropping the down payment till it hit 0. Then, when I said I wanted to wait a little, get a mortgage payment or two done, he continued to push me towards the sale. By then I just wanted the man out of my new house — I had climbed over a hundred flights of stairs and I was sweaty, tired, over it. When I finally signed, he made several paperwork errors that caused him to stay for another 30 minutes. He also made several remarks about how I had “much to do/repair” with the house — the windows are the only thing that needed done. Whole thing took like 2.5hrs. Windows needed production time, took a month. The installation took a day and that was fine. My only gripe about the installation crew was that they left my all my lights on. Come on, turn things off when you’re done. They cleaned up mostly and took their trash. The worst part is the salesman. I don’t recommend this company based on the salesman alone.
