They kept me updated all the way through selling my mum's estate which was complicated, and when the buyer was getting worried about the time delay Wilford Smith asuered his solicitors every step of the way, and at the last hour of contract's being signed off they made sure nothing went wrong.

Definitely recommend, very helpful really happy with the end result thanks a lot.

This went badly from the beginning. Onboarding is a mess and incredibly slow as it took about 1 month. Other solicitors have an app that onboards electronically and takes about 3 days. They didn’t read my documents properly and then told me that I had unreasonable expectations when I demanded that they read things properly before sending them.

Examples of all the issues over 2 months;
Onboarding took about a month.
Estate agent sent them incorrect details about their own firm and I had to correct them, they didn’t notice - which would have later on affected my mortgage deposit.
Not reading my proof of funds thoroughly and mistaking my sources of funds for incompatible sources. If I hadn’t already researched ISA compatibility, then it could have made someone pull out of their purchase.
- It took weeks to start conducting searches (about 4 weeks).
When they did start finally finish the searches, they then didn’t actually share the search pack without prompt even though they told me it was done.
Not very thorough with enquiries e.g. Discrepancies as to whether or not I am liable for a service charge. There is no acknowledgement of this discrepancy.
The legal team have deemed the lease to be ineligible, whereas the sellers solicitors do not. I asked that their next steps were to resolve this impasse as I obviously cannot purchase a property without understanding what it says. They told me that I had unreasonable expectations regarding this. As if it is unreasonable to expect my legal advisers to fully read the lease?!

House sale and purchase - they have been amazing. Rushaida is so efficient. Zero issues.

I moved from another solicitors because they were so slow. These guys are speedy.

Used them as they are on the Santander panel.

Pros: 1. Chethana and Dulaj very responsive and kind.
2. No unforeseen fees, paid what the initial quote was.
3. Completed in less than 4 months.

Cons: 1. you had to chase a lot for the work to be done and for the process to move forward. A lot of emails and phone calls.
2. Not responsive to the sellers solicitors, so I had to call and ask them to respond to the sellers solicitors emails.

In general, we were so thrilled to get the keys to our first home that we forgot the struggles of the journey.
