Wildland guides are always knowledgable and attentive. The trips are well constructed, the meals are fantastic and the gear is good quality and in good working order.

Went on a fabulous backpacking trip with Wildland Trekking in the Smokies. Great for experienced and new hikers. The company and guide help with the details and makes sure you are ready. You show up, hike, eat well (not packaged food!, planned meals) hike beautiful trials , and camp. Couldn’t be a better or easier. Our 4th backing trip. We couldn’t or wouldn’t do it with them.

The total commitment by Wildland Trekking to make all outings booked through them a great experience and also our guide Jon Pate for managing multiple diet restrictions and multiple level of hikers

Great Grand Canyon 3 day trip. Met our guide Dakota and the rest of our group in Flagstaff on a Thursday night and then Friday morning we were off to the south rim and a beautiful hike. Dakota was an excellent guide full of historical info and personal experiences in the park. He led us each day on a unique adventure and provided wonderful camp lunches. Stayed at El Tovar hotel each night after day hikes and was an amazing location right on the rim of the canyon. Great sunrise views and lots of wildlife as well. Highly recommend this trip and specifically Dakota as a guide really made for an enjoyable adventurous few days in the canyon. Will definitely use wildland trekking again. Thanks!

I have gone on two Wildland basecamp hiking trips and both have been great. The trip leaders are knowledgeable, responsible, kind, and patient. I highly recommend Wildland and plan to go on more trips with them in the future!

This was my 5th hike with Wildland and it was everything I've come to expect from them: a fantastic guide, delicious back-country meals, top-notch gear and absolutely beautiful hikes. Can't wait to hike with them again!

The whole experience with Wildland was amazing. We had a nice group of folks who all got along well on the hike - made some new friends on this hike. Above all, our guide, Karla, was top notch and made it as excellent as it could be! The views are exceptional on this hike and even the same strata of the canyon look different as you ascend or descend. On day 2, our guide went out of her way to take us on some additional hikes - don't miss out on those if you go on this trip. Our guide also provided some excellent lunches on the trail and the meals (breakfast and dinner) served at the Phantom Ranch were hot, hearty and delicious.

Best of Utah Trapp was terrific. It was just what the description said. It would be. Our Guide was wonderful. He made us feel safe and catered to a ride variety of ages and personalities. The accommodations were fabulous and the food was very good and plentiful. overall, the trip was well planned. We would use wild land tracking again without hesitation.

Excellent planning. All the details of a backpacking trip were covered, permits, transportation, meals and gear. Guides are experienced and reliable.

The trip was very well run and our guide (Sam C) was awesome. She made the trip very enjoyable and we learned a great deal more than if we had planned the trip ourselves. Highly recommend.

My third Wildland trip and I still can't recommend them enough. They feel like the all inclusive of outdoor adventures! They handle everything from permits to food to gear. Their guides are exceptional as is their back office service. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for my trekking experiences.

Knowledgeable and friendly guides, who cultivated a cohesive and happy group hiking experience. First rate yet off-the-beaten path lodging and restaurants. Overall an awesome adventure.

Amazing trip, well organized, good food, great guide

Beware of the $100 cancellation fee that they take NO MATTER WHAT! I paid the $250 deposit for a trip 9 monhts away,and had to cancel two weeks later. No one else was even signed up for those dates. They insisted of taking nearly half of my deposit based upon the fine print that is written to be interpreted as applying to those who have paid the full payment. It is not explicity stated to refer to the minimum deposit to hold the spot. So, if you think it is even the slightest possibility that you may have to cancel, don't sign up with these guys if you aren't comfortable with losing $100.

Very experienced guide with attention to detail, great itinerary. Will definitely do more trips with Wildland!
