So far nothing but trouble

So far nothing but trouble. To start with they were receptive but that quickly changed, they dont even respond now. Delivery took ages and when tent arrived it was nothing like ad. Also wrong colour which wasnt even on site. It seems like they just sent another cheaper one. Very flimsy poles and material. No footprint as I was advised or pegs/ropes, it doesnt even have logo on. More like a childrens beach shelter! Its meant to be the four man, box was badly damaged as well. Another review says about returns to china, in one of the few emails I had, they told me the same. However i am also not optimistic re refund. Going to trading standards re description. DO not buy from them.

Truly appalling company

Truly appalling company. Sent an unusable backpack that bears no resemblance to the one that I ordered. When I requested a replacement or a refund I was told I would have to send the item back to CHINA at my expense. I quoted UK trading law to no avail and to no response. This is not as you might believe from their website a European company it is in fact a Chinese company: below is copied from their email to me and is what you are told when things go wrong no matter that it is their fault:

Return costs are the responsibility of the customer, in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

We will not refund any return postage costs.

We recommend that you choose a shipping method with tracking to ensure secure delivery to our warehouse.

Refunds:
Once the parcel has been received and checked by our team, we will proceed with the refund within 10 working days.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. I thought I had checked everything to avoid buying off a scam website. Purports to be a UK business. Ordered a rucksack to be delivered in 2-3 days. Waited nearly 2 weeks. When it arrived, it was a different brand to the site photos. Nothing at all like the photos. It was cheaply made and very flimsy. No back padding as in the photos. It was shipped from China. Looking at the photos and reviews now I can see it’s a dishonest site. The UK phone number listed is invalid too. I emailed to ask for a refund as they are not selling as advertised. Received one email saying id have to pay for postage to return to China if I wanted a refund. All further emails were ignored. I had to raise a chargeback on my card. Only then did they contact me to ask why. No replies to my emails. Please avoid at all costs.

Shipped from China and not good quality

I completely fell for the reviews posted on the Wild Horizon website, which looking back now seem really fake. I waited over two weeks for a rucksack and boots I ordered to be shipped over from China. Whilst customer service sent an auto reply to every email I sent, they couldn't ever tell me when my package was going to be delivered, and it all arrived too late for the trip I had planned. The products are not good quality. The fabric feels cheap. The straps on the rucksack are really flimsy, and the boots feel thin and plasticy.

I’d give less if I could - false advertisement claim pending

I’d give less if I could. The “goose down” sleeping bag is closer to a Synthetic bin liner. Product looks entirely different from the one that was ordered. Tried to return and we have to pay the shipping back to china. False advertisement claim pending.

I have luckily never bought anything from this company but you can clearly see that almost every image on the wensite is AI generated, and the reviews on the website are fake. Please be very wary if planning to buy anything, at least until they prove they are actually shippping orders.

How can a company be so awful???

I quite literally cannot even give it one star. I ordered a fairly expensive bag. It took WEEKS to arrive and then when it finally turned up, they had sent me the completely wrong item. Bag looks horrifically cheap. I tried to ask for a return and they're trying to make me pay for the return! Insane! Please do not order from here! Ignore all positive comments, it is a scam.
