they come up with such practical, easy-to-do-at-home experiments that actually work and you dont need to buy any special materials. One magazine will keep us busy around other activities and school etc for the whole month, plus we go back to old ones. I even bought 3 extra back issues over the holidays. I'm a scientist myself and do the occasional thing with my kids - its easy to look up activities online but I really appreciate having it all in a themed magazine that they can read through and do some things themselves and anything that can avoid more screen time is a bonus. There are lots of this kind of magazine out there for kids but I would never switch to another - the mix of activities, facts and games is perfect. I even read the whole thing cover to cover myself!

I've bought subscriptions for several grandchildren over the years and have enjoyed setting up little projects with all of them. It's great to get a supply list ahead of the arrival of the next issue. Most items are already in the house or easily available. As a retired primary school teacher, I value the way the magazine sparks interest in Science.

I bought it for my grandson and he loves it. He loves having it delivered and gets excited when it comes.

My son loves receiving his magazine each month. We have made so many things and done loads of experiments, all using basic household stuff but it has really ignited his thirst for knowledge about everything. I’ve learnt quite a lot too from the articles! The poo edition was certainly a crowd pleaser! They just seem to know what kids will love and breaks it down to the right level so they can understand it.

I have been receiving Whizz Pop Bang since my granddaughter was about 3. She and her brother are now 1O and 7 and have always got something exciting and fun to do at Nanna and Grandad’s house! As a scientist, I wanted them to grow up realising how fascinating and valuable learning how our world works can be and this has certainly happened. The list of ‘ingredients’ sent by email in advance of each copy has also helped to avoid any disappointment about not having the right bits and pieces to carry out the experiments or constructions.

Really happy with our subscription, we’ve had four or five issues now and my 7 year old son has enjoyed all of them immensely; from the interesting facts, games and experiments. Whenever he gets a new one through the post, he loves the fact it’s got his name on and he then takes it to school with him to show his friends. Have recommended to lots of school-mums.

This magazine is very well thought out and has been just perfect for my grandson, little scientist that he is! It's fun, colourful, and activity-based. When the last issue arrived he said, 'Wow, I can't believe I get one of these every month!' What more do you need to know? It's well worth it. Whizz Pop Bang is a fantastic magazine, and we've been subscribers for almost a year now. Our 10 year old daughter really looks forward to it arriving. She enjoys reading through it and sharing it with us too. We really enjoy looking through it with her. She picks up lots of really useful facts and information in a fun way. Each edition has a different topic. The email in advance tells you what's coming up and whether you need anything special (mostly you don't; it's around the home or easy to source). It makes a great gift for Birthdays or Christmas (very affordable). And no plastic rubbish cluttering up your house (or land fill) - win! I highly recommend it.

My children LOVE Whizz Pop Bang! They're 4 and 10 and my eldest has enjoyed it for quite a few years. She will sit and read the whole thing cover to cover, while my younger son likes it to be read to him and of course, there are always lots of experiments for them to try. I've learned a lot from it, too!

This is such a fantastic magazine. My children absolutely love all the science experiments in these monthly magazines. I’m a home educating mum and these have become my go to when it comes to home ed science. They are packed full with fun facts, craft ideas, competitions, experiments. We love it. My only regret is that I wish I had found this magazine sooner haha. It’s honestly brilliant. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. I would 100% recommend.
