A personal and professional service by White and Co made the unpredictable and stressful process of moving home go smoothly. Andy O’Neill and his crew checked in with us throughout the move if there was an item or box not labelled making the service high standard

The whole team, office and removal, at White and Co. Knaresborough were excellent from start to finish; flexible and friendly.
We have never used a professional remover before so wasn't sure what to expect. White and Co. were recommended by my parents who had had great experiences on previous moves, and they certainly lived up to to that recommendation. We had a lot of stuff to move along with last minute uncertainty around our exchange and completion date and the whole team were really helpful, supportive and accomodating during such a stressful time for us.
We would not hesitate to use White and Co. again in the future.

An exceptional removal company. They made our move so easy and stress free. The office staff were so helpful and supportive, keeping in touch all the way through. On the day the crew were punctual and courteous at all times. The items were removed and packed in a very professional way. I can highly recommend Whites.

The lads were outstanding.. Nothing was too much trouble and they worked solidly the whole time. Brilliant company from quote / communication/ flexibility and eventual move. Can't say a bad word about these.. They were exactly what was needed in a very stressful time.

From the initial enquiry, to the unloading of the final box into our new home, the service was outstanding.Every member of staff was pleasant, polite and totally professional. Prior to our moving day the communication was excellent and during the move the staff were calm and efficient, especially John, who was a calming influence over the phone, during a lengthy delay for the key! We can’t recommend White and Company highly enough!

Outstanding service and really helpful. Dean, Andy, Bill, Tony, and Jamie from the knaresborough branch were all super helpful and professional. Mandy, from the office, was also really helpful. We had a lot to move and they did a sterling job.

UPDATE:
I have heard today that this has been folllowed up and resolved.
I wrote a review after my move in October 2025 and had been delighted with the service during my actual move. Subsequently I learned that a worktop in the property I am renting was damaged when the operatives dropped off some of my belongings (I wasn’t there at the time). I notified White and Co immediately. It took a while but in December I heard that a claim could be made through the public liability element of the insurance I had taken out. Without going into details, I am caught in a loop between the insurers and my landlord. Apparently, the policy is with Whites, not me, and because I do not own the property that has been damaged, the insurance company cannot discuss it with me. Meanwhile, my landlord wants to complete repairs before I move out next month. I have contacted White and Company twice in recent weeks to ask for their input regarding this but have had no response. This has caused a lot of stress and I’ve spent hours trying to sort it out, with no success.

What a smooth process from booking to the final moving day. We couldn't be happier and thank you for making what could have been a very stressful period, so smooth and easy.

The guys were wonderful. Careful considerate, patient, polite and most helpful. Professional and efficient, I couldn't speak more highly of them. They made a very tiring move bearable and at times fun. The size of vehicle was spot on. All in all a wonderful service I'd recommend.

I always use Whites to do my removals. They are courteous, efficient and so helpful and friendly. They have moved me all over the country and I've never had any complaints. Dean Howarth is a brilliant foreman... so amiable and conscientious.

We moved house last week and had a fantastic experience with White and Co. They were competitively priced compared to other local companies and all of the staff we dealt with were extremely professional. They were very efficient and nothing was too much trouble. We can’t fault them and we are very grateful they could make our house move as stress free as possible. Thanks in particular to Scott who came out to quote and then Kev, Dan, Tony, Dean, Andy and Logan who carried out the removals for us. We will be recommending White and Co to any friends looking for a removal company!

Our house move went very smoothly, from the original enquiry to the final arrangements. The removers arrived on time and packed everything very efficiently. They were courteous and helpful at all times. The delivery went just as smoothly as the removal and nothing was damaged or broken, not even a box of eggs!
