Danielle Horton was absolutely excellent, she was thorough and worked hard over my case (even out of hours on a 4 day bank holiday weekend) to get the work done to the best possible quality. She made time to speak to me and listen to my points of view. She was able to assimilate information in a short period of time, despite there being lots of information.

Danielle met a very nervous client, I'd not been in a situation with the police before. She put me at ease immediately, explained the process in simple language not to legally and stayed with me through the whole interview process. I couldn't have asked for a better adviser.

I came across Wheldon Law whilst searching for a solicitor through legal aid. I spoke to a gentleman on the phone who took my details and said he would send me a legal aid form to fill out via email and would get a lady named Tina to call me in the afternoon. 24hr passes by and I hadn’t received an email or a call so I called them back, again my details are taken but this time Tina actually calls me in the afternoon. When speaking to her on the phone she asked me the court date and location and just genuinely gave me hope and made me feel at ease, again taking my details and telling me she would email a legal aid form to fill out and return. I never received this email. The Christmas period arrived so I waited for January - I then called Wheldon law and was unsuccessful getting through. I even emailed them with my name and asked for them to contact me as my court date was approaching. My court date arrived and Tina who had said she would be representing me did not arrive. A lady in the court contacted Wheldon Law and asked where she was to which they responded they were not going to represent me as I “failed to fill out the legal aid documents” absolutely disgusting service leaving it to the date of which I’m due, not bothering to contact me at all and in fact ignoring my attempt to contact them. I can categorically say I never received an email from them with the legal aid forms and they know full well they didn’t send them. Extremely unprofessional. Had I been told prior to my date they were not going to take my case on I could have found another law firm. Instead I had 10 minutes to get my case across to the on duty solicitor. I have made all my friends and family aware of my experience with Wheldon Law and I would absolutely not recommend them to anyone.

I was facing several charges and the court process looked likely to take 2-3 hearings for which I would not have been able to afford legal representation for all of it.

Wheldon Law managed to convince the CPS to do the whole thing in a single hearing and got my dogs back to be after only 3 months in the police kennels.

I would not have been able to achieve that without them and their fees were well worth it.
