Forget about anyone EVER replying to your emails or requests for help. No matter who you try to contact, they will never reply to you. Want to contact them so you can get a printed copy of your insurance? Forget it. Want to contact them to get an error on your policy fixed? Forget it. Try to register for their online app? Forget it. Once they have your money, they are done with you.

Excellent service! Bebelyn, from Murryville branch, went above and beyond serving myself and my husband with our insurance needs. We lost a license plate and she helped us cancel it and transfer a vehicle from one company to another. Inform the police about the lost license plate. Seriously, this person cares about her clients!! 5 stars for this lady! She is a keeper!

Communcation with my Broker here did not give detail when our insurance expires Ex beginning of the month or end of month, would recommend another broker, people always read the fine print.

My Brooker who name is Kim Simms is and was a person who took the time to listen to my concerns and not only help me with saving but also help me to make wise decisions, I highly recommend this woman to speak with she is very professional and able to help you and listen to your concerns

Found them online and asked to fill out a form to have someone call me back to discuss coverage/get a quote...
...then I get email that says 'we have a few more questions' and pretty much makes me fill out the ENTIRE documentation process, but I do it because it's got get down eventually and I still need the quote..
...THEN I get an email back not offering me services (i.e. bundle to cover home, other vehicles, etc)...but instead a mention of a $100 AGENCY FEE to be bolted on prior to providing my quote because I'm not an existing customer...and STILL..NO...QUOTE

Walked away...I dont do business with lazy people that cant even pick up a phone or provide a quote with all the info laid out for them

My broker Tammy Richelhoff found savings for me that I did not expect and would not have known about without her assistance.
She took all the time necessary to answer queries any time I had them with patience and intelligence. Very pleased with her service.

Sometimes you'll work with the occasional person that's a great individual, but such a bad company overall. Everyone is new, lots of people don't seem to be properly trained. Mistakes on simple ICBC transactions, rude managers when you come back to ask them to fix their mistake. If you have issues with home insurance, it's hard to reach people to get answers, even harder to reach someone who is knowledgeable about the Westland product. Overworked stressed staff handling home insurance policies was my entire experience.

Efforts to support me as a long term client were terrible in all ways … slow and insufficient email responses, no concern for my situation, very little effort to find me a solution even when asked and a disrespectful tone when speaking over the phone.

After shopping around and finding other brokers who had a much more helpful attitude I was able to find comprehensive coverage for my vehicle at much more reasonable cost than what they were able to obtain.

Kala Dean, is a great automobile agent to consider if you are looking for an auto insurance agent!

My mother has had her home insurance through Westland for decades. She learned prices are better elsewhere with better coverage and clearer policies. She is trying to cancel her home insurance with Westland and they are making it very difficult for her asking her a lot of personal information and things you do not need to cancel a policy.

We have had insurance through Westland for many years and never had a claim.We are seniors and own our home.We recently priced house insurance through other companies and we can be insured for 75% less than Westland. The coverage is actually better as well. I advise everyone to not even consider Westland for home insurance.

Kelli my broker was extremely helpful once again this year. Earlier in the year she was able to provide guidance when looking for a vehicle and corresponding insurance for my son. This Summer we needed Tennent insurance for our 17 year old at a townhouse he was to rent from the college and she was able to find us the best solution once again. She even went so far as to provide additional information for the college in regards to the insurance.

I have been working with Westland for decades. My newest agent Olga has been great! Super responsive and fast to help me out.

I really appreciated the quick responce I received from Corinna Gunnarson, she was very helpful in ensuring that all my insurance needs were met and was even able to find savings on my account. Great Insurance brokers.

can never get a hold of anyone. leave countless voices. broker who you deal with never returns calls. ask to have insurance cancel. never was. now charged for it

Avoid Westland Insurance at All Costs Complete Breakdown in Communication
If I could give zero stars, I would.
I’ve been trying to reach Joanne Narin for over two and a half months She is the claims adjustor assigned to my file. All I got so far are crickets, in other words nothing. I’ve left repeated messages for Rose Mercer, the manager again no response. My last attempt was just last week. Still absolutely nothing.
This isn't just poor service it's a total failure. Their communication is non-existent, and the lack of accountability is staggering. I’ve never encountered a more unprofessional and unresponsive organization. If there were a lower rating than one star, they’d be buried at the bottom.
Save yourself the stress stay far away from Westland.

We just received a registered letter from Westland demanding payment for insurance that we cancelled over a month ago.
