My partner and I decided to use Wenup for our prenup, and I chose Flavia Lavia as my lawyer.
I can only recommend her, she was quick in scheduling a call to discuss the arrangement and explained everything in detail, taking the time to explain the parts that for me (a non UK citizen) might have been a bit difficult to understand.

We had a bit of a mix up on the time of the meeting but this was due to the person doing the appointments.
Flavia explained the legal information in an easy to understand way, and was very friendly. She was always available if I emailed her with any questions I had.

The Wenup platform itself is very easy to navigate and a very good way to complete forms such as this.
Flavia Lamia was my chosen lawyer and she was very good, exploring the statements and making sure everything was correct. My partner's lawyer was a bit slow to the punch which prolonged the process. But overall with quick efficient lawyers there's no reason for it to be done in a very short time.

Very smooth process from start to finish. We will be using again for any amends and future edits. Toby started us off with a quick but detailed call about the process. Filling out the forms online was easy and simple to do when both having a log in to update our own individual sections + joint ones. After submitting wenup had a few clarifications and edits/iterations in preparation. Selecting a solicitor was again super simple via the portal. My solicitor (Flavia Lamia) was very thorough, incredibly strong clarity & her drafting skills were super impressive. To make the equity figures fair with appropriate percentages she took a break half way through the meeting with me to draft the wording there and then. She provided me the calculation she used & it was perfect. Super impressive and as a result we managed to get it all done in the hour followed by a final draft for my wife and I, which we are due to sign imminently. Thanks again Wenup and Flavia!!

Simple, straightforward, no fuss.

Wenup have set up their process really well. Although there are real people involved (we had video calls with members of their team as part of the process) they've done a great job of making most of the process really simple and web based, so there are very few points where you are waiting for something to happen. You go at your own pace, so the whole process can be turned around pretty much in line with however long you take to complete the information required.

Once everything is submitted, the team check things through and will ask questions, if required, to ensure your information is in a format that is ready to be passed over and reviewed by any of the panel of solicitors (you choose which one you want to use).

I chose Flavia Lamia, who knows exactly what she's talking about, explains everything really clearly and does a great job of ensuring clients understand what a pre-nup is in the UK, best practices and therefore exactly what you're signing up for.

So many people don't appear to realise that getting married is basically a financial agreement and we only really learn this the hard way. So, as unromantic as it may sound (financial agreements are rarely romantic, but that's what you're actually signing up to).

I would definitely recommend getting a pre-nup. Marriages fail at an alarming rate these days (about half) would you jump out of a plane if parachutes only opened half the time? A pre-nup is like a safety net below (assuming you do it properly). I sound like a right old cynic don't I haha! But the stats really do speak for themselves.

So if you're going to act sensibly and get one, definitely these guys!
