Basically a scam

I'm a bridesmaid and the brida partyl went to try on dresses in store even though they don't even custom tailor the dresses. I had the flu and couldn't go, I just ordered it online. I checked my measurements and went over an inch on the bust to make sure. Well I got it and it barely zipped up around the waist. The waist was for someone 2 dress sizes smaller than mine. I thought it would be ok but after health issues I gained weight and it didn't zip up at all.

The tailor said the dress needed an extra 12 inches of fabric, even though I measured myself and I was only 2 inches over the supposed sizing chart on the website. I reached out to them after 2 months and all they could say was sorry and I had to buy another dress. No discount or anything. Almost all the other bridesmaids have to get their dresses altered. For this price, you should go get it done by a professional shop that custom fits dresses. Now less than 2 weeks until the wedding and I don't have a dress. This place is a rip off.

Worst experience ever

Worst experience ever. Had to make an appointment but it’s not clear why, they just have you pick off a rack and put you in a room to try on like any department store. They were out of a ton of sizes and ALL tops and I was told “they just didn’t send them”. They suggested I order multiple sizes online and return the ones I don’t want, yet I would have to pay for return shipping and restocking fees. No thx.

Received Used & Stained Dress

I just received my dress today that I ordered for my friend’s wedding in April, and the condition it came in is unbelievable. Clearly, someone wore this for a wedding and returned it with mementos of that wedding in the form of grass, grease, dirt, and makeup stains all over the bottom and front panel of the dress.

Does Weddington Way not have a quality control team to check the condition of returned dresses/ all dresses before they are sent out? This is completely unacceptable for a new dress costing nearly $200.

I have many friends planning upcoming weddings, and I can guarantee you that I will be warning them all to stay away from this neglectful company.

The Worst Retailer Experience of my Life

I had a really terrible first experience when I ordered from Weddington Way.
I ordered the Evelyn dress in slate gray in a size Small. Before I ordered, I carefully checked my measurements (bust 35.5 in, waist 29 in, hips 38.5 in). According to the size chart, I am a size small except for my waist (by one inch). I spoke with a “stylist” using the website chat and was advised to order a size small.
The dress arrived unceremoniously in a big, clear plastic bag sealed with a piece of Scotch tape inside a brown box. Dresses from Weddington Way’s competitors often arrive wrapped in printed tissue paper or in a protective garment bag, but it seems presentation is not terribly important to Weddington Way.
The dress I received is a lovely, soft gray color and constructed of a heavy, quality fabric. However, as soon as I held it up, I could tell that it was not going to fit. The dress is ENORMOUS. It seems to me that this dress is a large mismarked as a small.
The only way to contact customer service is through a text service or through email. I spoke to multiple “stylists” using these venues, thoroughly explaining my situation, sending photos of me draped in the enormous dress, and asking that they simply exchange the dress for another size small. They told me to get it altered, to return it and order another one (paying the $5 restocking fee and $10 shipping again). They told me “unfortunately, sizing is not a perfect science” more than once and that I should expect to pay for alterations. Why would I order another dress from a company where the dresses have no relationship with the company’s size guide whatsoever? I expected to have to pay to have the dress hemmed, but to for a seamstress/tailor to shape an entirely new dress from the 10 lbs. of fabric I received.
After threatening to post a detailed review, the best they could do was waive the restocking fee. It took a grand total of 26 days to receive my refund (from the day I sent the dress back to the day my refund hit my bank account)!
Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere that actually cares about their customer’s satisfaction.

Never received order; impossible to contact.

I'm a bride with 12 bridesmaids ordering from Weddington Way. Most of the dresses came in timely and beautiful. However, one of my bridesmaids has yet to receive her order which was placed May 2. We have all emailed, FB messaged, called, texted, with hardly any response. The one response we did get told us the dresses would be expedited with three day shipping yet they haven't arrived, and my wedding is in THREE weeks. Terrible customer service.

DIssapointed is an understatement

I was SO excited to find Weddington Way!! The dresses were beautiful and reasonable and gave my girls lots of options. We went by the Chicago pop up and it started off great. Ellen was very helpful and patient with our large group and every girl found a dress she was happy with. Then it began.... my girls were all told they were getting 15% off. They didn't and were all over charged. They put a wrong shipping address in for one of them and ordered a wrong color for one of them when I was VERY clear about the colors. When I went back to address the color issue the girl I spoke to was RUDE cancelled my order before I told her to and didn't as much as apologize for their mistake. It was like I was an inconvenience to her for needing help and I regret not getting her name but I was so upset when I left it slipped my mind. I just hope and pray the girls dresses are right because I have zero confidence in this place anymore. The worst part of it was all I get out of anyone was a couple oh I'm so sorry regarding the SEVERAL mistakes. My girls will be refunded in 3-5 days for their 15%. Which is nice but should not have needed to happen. I wanted to order all my ties, jewelry and bridesmaid belts from here but there's not a chance they are getting another penny out of me. The last thing any bride needs is stress like this. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Do yourself a favor - DO NOT USE WEDDINGTON WAY!!

Do NOT use this company. Horrible experience that added unbelievable stress to our wedding planning. Dresses arrived in different colors and did not match. Corrective order arrived the day before the wedding - no follow through,empty promises and horrible customer service. They are your worst nightmare!

This is the WORST WORST WORST …

This is the WORST WORST WORST experience I have EVER had and I have been a bridesmaid something like 12 times. Any time you want to get clarification or assistance, especially through the live chat---you get a nasty sarcastic customer "service" representative who is purposefully ambiguous, and in my opinion, completely rude. My dress wasn't set to ship for 4 months (yes you read that right, I ordered in March and it wasn't coming until June 30th) and I needed to make a size change. I spoke to a customer service rep via live chat who gave me the run around---long story short, the issue still isn't fixed. I HATE this company and I will tell everybody and anybody who will listens.

Update: they did reach out. It was too little and too late--offered to "expedite" the order for no charge, which still meant a month late. I cancelled the dress and I went to Macys bridal. What a complete 180. I will never order from weddington.

The WORST service I have ever received.

These are the cheapest dresses and they offer no service whatsoever. I ordered the wrong size and they informed me that there were no dresses in the color the bride had picked that would get here in time for the wedding, that is three months away. All they could say was for me to get it altered. They would offer no discount or anything since I will have to put more money into this horrid dress. Would recommend to no one.

Unflattering Dress that is not returnable

I ordered the bridesmaid dress called Olivia. Although the packaging and presentation were well done, the dress is unflattering. I went with the sizing I read on the website, ordering one size up to give me extra room in the chest. The dress fits like a bag. Very overpriced for such a poorly fitting dress. Weddington Way has a strict 12 day return policy, which I exceeded. Therefore, I am left with a dress that I am very unexcited to wear in my friend's wedding.

Worst

This is the absolute worst company to deal with. Do yourself a favor and fight with a bride that wants to use them. More money in alterations than the dress is worth but if they had prepared the dress properly and designed it anything like the picture you might be happy. If you take the time to read reviews it looks like after many bad reviews they have employees go and write reviews to boost the stars. I am extremely disappointed in the way my purchase came to me and even more so with how the customer service was handled.

Horrible experience DON'T USE WEDDINGTON WAY

All three dresses that were ordered did not fit. We had our measurements done and provided them for our dresses. Not one of them fit. When we contacted Eddington Way they refused to refund our money but offered to send us a replacement off the rack, even though not one of them were acceptable replacements. The length on two of the three was over a foot and a half too long. When I explained that to the representative I was dealing with her reply was "they are made for women that are 5'8" so that might be the issue." I laughed and told her the two of us were 5'7" to which I heard nothing but silence. I will NEVER use this company again, nor would I ever recommend it to a friend. If one dress out of three didn't fit, fine. But all three of them? I don't think so.

DO NOT use Weddington Way for Bridesmaid Dresses

If you do not pay $200 instead of $170 you cannot return your dress. When trying to discuss what I should do with a customer service representative she hung up on me once I asked her to admit that not being able to return my dress even though it is the exact same style as another dress that you can return is not a good practice. These dresses are also horrendous compared to how much you pay for them. I was just in a wedding where I had to buy a J Crew sale dress for $70, and it had a quality of 10 when these dresses have a quality of about a 2. I would never use this site for my own wedding.

Awesome dress! Comfortable and very stylish

I had a great experience with weddington. The dress I ordered was a bit big, but they were very helpful even before I ordered the dress. I had no problems and I loved the style of my dress. I like that there's such a variety of dress styles and colors.

Great customer service

The website is super friendly to use and loved some of the dresses for my sisters wedding. I live in San Francisco so decided to make an appointment at their showroom to try on dresses. The girl helping me was awesome, the only challenge is they did not have all the dresses available to try on or the right colors/sizes. The dresses are great quality. If you make an appointment, make it far in advance since the spots fill up quickly!

Fun awesome experience!

I've purchased with Weddington Way as a bride, as a bridesmaid several times, and also as a wedding guest. I love the fun virtual showroom that they have, where a bride and all her bridesmaids can share dresses with each other and like and comment on each one. They have a huge selection, and there's lots of options for different styles in the same color so I was able to select one that was flattering for my figure. I especially love their new exclusive line of Weddington Way dresses. They are comfortable and look great - I've already worn mine for multiple events! Their customer service is amazing - they made sure the experience for me and my friends was easy and stress-free.

Great service.

My fiance wanted me to match my ties to her bridesmaid dresses. She and her friends used Weddington Way to buy their dresses. When it came time for the ties, I was not being able to find something. I went to a bunch of placed until my fiance told me to reach out the customer service team at WW. The team worked with me and the tie designer to find ties that I (and my fiance) loved. I had also left this for the very last minute - but they made it happen!! Thanks team!
