Smooth transaction and pleasant exprience

I submitted info about my 2020 Ford Ranger online with CarMax, Carvana, and We Buy Any Car. Best offer or valuation, as We Buy… calls it, was with We Buy…. So I scheduled an appointment for yesterday at 3:00 at the Garner facility. I arrived on time, but the manager, Tom, was still working with another customer. I waited in my truck for a few minutes and then Tom came out and invited me in. I waited for him to conclude his business with this other customer and noticed that it all seemed very positive. After the other customer left Tom started to work on setting up everything for the sale of my truck. We took it for a road test and then he completed a physical inspection of the truck. We went into the office and he uploaded all of the new info he had collected. The first offer I was presented was significantly lower than the valuation I received online. Apparently this was due to a reported accident my truck was in. I referenced the accident and repair costs in the prior online applications, so I thought that the valuation had already taken that into consideration. Apparently that isn’t the case, so then I was asked to name a price that would get the truck sold that day. I did and unfortunately Tom was unable to give me that number, but he countered with an acceptable number and I sold my truck.
Tom was very professional, courteous and upfront about everything. Although I didn’t get the amount shown in the original valuation, I was happy with the check I walked out with. It was a pleasure working with Tom and I would recommend giving him and We Buy Any Car a chance if you’re selling your vehicle.

Able to set appointment online. Received confirmation phone call that morning. Very nice to work with, no pressure to sell, able to negotiate some.

Great customer service

I received very good customer service from Tom at the Raleigh (Garner) NC location. Tom explained the entire process ahead of time and then performed everything as stated. Tom was personable and friendly. Process was straightforward and I was satisfied with the price offered for my car.

Everything was easy and went smoothly. Very nice and knowledgable staff. Would definitely use them again!

Seamless Transaction to sell our older vehicle that was being replaced.
It was a very “Easy on line” form to fill out and receive a pre-appraisal within minutes. Also we were able to set the appointment for the same day close by to our home in Garner/Raleigh NC. The gentleman made us a fair offer and we left with a check same day. He was honest and very personable. It could not have been easier. We were completely satisfied and would recommend them highly.

My experience was a good one. Tom was a very polite, honest and caring representative of the company. He made the entire experience a positive one, made sure I understood everything, and was very fair.

The process was very transparent and he was thorough in inspecting the vehicle. When all was done, I understood the true value of my vehicle and I thought the offer was fair. I'm in my 70s, having bought and sold a number or cars over my life. I'm tired of it. Looking around, I found several places that claim to buy just about anything, many of which don't. But CarMax is one, and WeBuyAnyCar is another. CarMax wanted me to bring the car to them, and I wasn't looking forward to doing that.

Talking with WBAC was a joy. It was easy to give a general summary of the car, then send a picture of the title and odometer. But what really impressed me was that you folks have Mobile Inspectors! So it isn't a "sight unseen" generic offer on a car. It's a vehicle-specific appraisal.

Antonio showed up on time, and is a great guy -- friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The entire process only took about an hour, with all the paperwork being available from the car "office." When it was all said and done, we agreed on a price and the paperwork for all that, too, was right there. He printed a check, put a lockbox on the car, and we were done!!

I don't know that I've had easier and pleasant an experience selling a car before. This was great! Not only that, but although I was told 5-8 days before the car would be hauled away, it turned out to be the next day. So sold, paid, car gone, all in 2 days! And I didn't have to leave home or go anywhere. Fantastic!

This is really a terrific company, with a great business model and all the supporting infrastructure. You can be sure WBAC will be first-in-mind whenever I run into folks looking to sell an old car. Thanks!
