Some of the worse customer services I…
Some of the worse customer services I have ever encountered. See also webb mowers and Handy. Bought a self propelled mower, hit a stone which caused the blade to bend (not badly but it needed replacing) but I discovered the bolts threads were totally wrecked. It had been cross threaded during manufacturing and forced in with a windy gun or similar. These muppets are trying to claim the bolt bent by a minor impact, a lot less forceful than previous mowers have taken without issue. They are trying to hide poor build quality and selling goods not fit for purpose.
That is my original review to which they replied with a blatant gaslighting attempt. When I edited the review with a further emails from them they complained about "personal details". Suffice it to say I consider their (lack of) service manager to be as incompetent and dishonest as the company in general. Court proceedings have now been issued, as has a complaint to the ASA regarding dishonest advertising on their web site. All this for a warranty repair that would have cost them less than £50, it will now cost them more than 10 times that.
Also worth noting that positive reviews of the company seem to only have appeared in the last month since I pointed out to them their poor standing and they started replying to reviews. May be a coincidence but personally I don't believe in those. I would not be shocked if the positive reviews are not genuine.
