I've used we-are-gaming twice now when selling off parts of my collection.

The response has always been within a day, and was given more information on how the price was arrived at than I could have asked for.

Payment has been immediate once I have accepted the offer.

I couldn't have asked for any more, would definitely recommend for anyone selling.

I have also bought cards from them, and found them to be good value and was pleasantly surprised with the cards used to pad out the purchase

Sent a bunch of my OP bulk to we are gaming and got paid within 48 hours of them receiving my cards.

Fair rate paid and very simple to do, go on their website, fill out the form, ship your cards off and get paid.

Will continue to use them to shift my bulk left over from making master sets.

I frequently use We are Gaming as my go to seller on Card Market when looking for cards, as the dispatch is always quick and I find everything well packed and secure.
As far as selling to them goes, Hugo and Jo were open and honest throughout the whole process, made things as simple as possible and given that they are buying to re sell offered me a fair price (obviously not what I’d get if I’d sold them myself but that’s the nature of using vendors). Most importantly, they never made me feel pressured into selling to them.

I had a very positive experience when selling cards to we are gaming, arranged for a collection, cards were evaluated and quite was given in couple of days.

Communication was professional and I was informed about the process in detail.

Site to arrange collection has a range of options, I was selling MTG cards but you can sell other card games also.

I sent we-are-gaming.com my MTG card collection to sell. Initial conversations with them were positive, and they attempted to set my expectations on what the cards would be worth.

I sent the cards, and they were promptly valued the next day. I received a quote which was approximately 20% of TCG Player market value, and I subsequently declined the offer of purchase. It was disappointing that the offer was so low, but this may well be because they use TCG Market as a baseline. In any case, these things happen so I requested my cards back.

My cards were returned promptly. On inspection I found identified a couple of issues:
1. I believed two cards had been swapped for non foil versions (unintentionally or otherwise). I didn’t take pictures before sending, so I was referring back to a spreadsheet I built before hand. It’s entirely possible I was wrong here, so this shouldn’t factor into this review but I include in for completeness.
2. One card worth approx. £20 had been badly damaged with glue. All cards of value were sleeved when sending and not damaged prior to sending the package.

I asked we-are-gaming.com to replace the damaged card, and was told it was damaged when it arrived. It wasn’t, but if it were I would of expected to have been informed about it when the packaged reached them, and not discover it on receiving the package back.
The general tone of response I received from we-are-gaming was incredibly defensive, rude, and lacked a basic level of professionalism. The latest email I received from this business was borderline threatening.

The value of the loss I experienced here postage of £35 + damaged card of £20 doesn’t constitute me taking my dispute any further.
This may well have been an isolated incident, but I’d encourage anyone sending cards of any value to them to video record each card being packed before sealing the package so that you have some recourse if something goes wrong.
