Water Babies - Surrey North & South Recensioni 

Taylor our swim instructor is excellent and amazing at persuading our little one to try things he wouldn’t do with us alone. He has made progress quickly and we are really pleased. The only reason we give four stars is because of the venue which isn’t great. It’s a bit of a temporary outbuilding, the doors on the changing rooms don’t close properly and the only toilet facility there is pretty grim.

I’ve been using the service of waterbabies for 7 years now with both my kids. The staffs are amazing especially Katherine. They have been trained well to be gentle with babies but at the same teach them a life skill. The lessons are so much fun with songs and plays and it is so entertaining for parents too.

My daughter started with Waterbabies when she was just 2 years old, and the progress she’s made since then has been incredible. Now 4, she has been taking lessons with Jackie, who has been absolutely wonderful, patient and encouraging.
When she first began, she was afraid to put her head underwater. Thanks to Jackie’s guidance and positive approach, she has now completely overcome that fear and can do it with confidence, excitement and loves wearing her goggles.

Our lessons are cancelled with waterbabies every other lesson. Teacher is amazing and deserves 5stars. But the unreliability of the swim lessons is awful.

We love our time in the water with Willow and the lessons are fun. The instructor is very clear and engaging, and there are little progressions each lesson

We love going to our water babies classes on a Friday with Jackie, she is very encouraging and knows how to make the lessons fun for all the children whilst also challenging them all at whichever stage they are at. Tilly has built so much confidence in the water and absolutely loves her time in the pool each week.

Our son has been swimming since he was 4 weeks old. What seemed like an impossible mission, he is now swimming up to 10m, diving, swims with his head under the water. He can push and glide and is well on his way to getting through his stage 2. This is all thanks to Jackie. She is terrific.

My son has been with water babies since he was 3 months old and now he's turning 3 years old! He's gone from building confidence with being in water to now being able to dive in from sitting, swim a short distance by himself and hold on to a safe place. He knows how to get in and out of the water safely and how to keep himself safe when in the water while I have gained the confidence to support him to grow every step of the way so when we go on holiday we can all enjoy our time without the worry. Our teacher makes lessons fun and personalised as she knows every child and parent in the class. My son talks about her and swimming lessons all week!! We have loved our water babies journey so far!

This is an amazing place for my son! They provide exceptional customer service, always attentive and ready to listen to your needs.

But very disappointing after being with them for 6 months, its either classes being cancelled last minute or the pool or something. 3 different teachers in less than 6 months, with no actual teaching happening, several emails sent explaining our frustration to the company but it almost felt like they would rather say bye to us then actually solve the issue or hear us out.

Our son loves water and looks forward to his class whole week! We have now started new classes with our local leisure centre and absolutely love it. With always an alternative teacher available to teach and no classes being cancelled last minute ( literally 90 mins before the actual class!)

I think if its not working for you and your child isnt really learning anything, you should go with your gut and look for alternatives.

I was hoping things would get better with each new teacher or new class but just kept getting worst!

I would highly recommend Waterbabies. We have been doing lessons with Jackie who has been incredibly dedicated and so patient with our 4 year old boy. He was extremely nervous in the pool to begin and lacked confidence. Jackie has worked so hard with him every week and now he is so much more confident swimming and is even diving under the water which he would have never done before. We are looking forward to continuing our Waterbabies lessons and watching him improve even more! Thank you!

The team is very flexible in organising replacement sessions for the ones we missed however sessions are often cancelled because of teachers not available/water too cold and other reasons, replacement swims are offered in locations too far to travel without a car. On top of that our age group in convenient location has been cancelled twice already (we were shifted to other time and/or location) due to low demand, however we had to wait for 3 months to be enrolled - not sure how these two work together...

Jackie, is a great teacher and even when there are substitutes for when Jackie is off, they are good too. My daughter loves coming every week. Never thought my 1 year old would be able to swim this early. (Is assisted with a noodle) but she has got it really quickly

The patience of the swim instructor (Jackie) with my toddler is very encouraging and she is always looking forward to her swim lessons.

The teacher Suzie was brilliant. She was attentive and focused and always aware if any babies were unhappy and was able to support parents and encourage increased enjoyment

Kathrin has been an amazing teacher for the last year... Very friendly and engaging with the children and able to lead the lesson so that all the children get to improve and have a good time.

I started taking my son from when he was 12 weeks old . I felt very welcomed and trusted the instructor immediately. Very happy bubily instructor. My husband now takes our son and not only is this a great bonding session, but my husband looks forward to the sessions. Our little one is always excited as soon as he gets into the water. Would 1000% recommend to do this.

What can I say about our classes with WB and especially Jackie, as she is the BEST! I have been coming to WB for some time now for both my girls- older one is 10 and younger will be 4.

Sadly we had to say goodbye to Jackie and our lovely class as my little one starts school in September. We always had so much fun and very much looked forward to our Fridays. Although we had some difficulties fitting the time to make sure we have our classes with Jackie we carried on coming to our sessions. She has been an amazing instructor, calm, and very patient. She encouraged both my girls to try hard and have fun at the same time.

Jackie has been a big part of the swimming journey for my both girls and I am so so grateful for this.

My child loves his classes and his teacher is really good with the toddlers. There are lots of different activities and learning aids.
