I have been taking my child swimming from 7 months old (2 yrs now) and the lessons have helped in so many ways. Worth it for the pool safety alone. It can seem expensive before you start but after the first lesson I knew it was worth it. My child hated water and now she loves it and this is due to Water Babies. Claire our teacher is amazing and a credit to the company. Recommend to all babies, you wont regret it!

Taking my son to water babies was the best decision. The instructor is understanding of babies being unsure in the water, is patient and very supportive to parents who are finding it difficult to help their babies feel more secure in the pool. The explanations are clear and the activities are fun and we never leave the pool feeling like it was a bad or difficult lesson.

Hannah is a lovely, friendly and knowledgeable instructor. Our little one loves him swimming lessons and Hannah. Great structure, content and progression in the lessons.

My baby attends the Westerwood class with Claire! Both me and baby absolutely love it! And would recommend to anyone! Claire is amazing! She teaches the sessions so well, is amazing with all the baby’s and is always making not only the baby’s smile and laugh but the mum’s/dads too!

Great swimming teacher & office staff are always helpful and friendly . We love our lessons, they are so much fun & quality time with my kids and love the safety skills they learn.

My son has been going to Water Babies since he was about 2 months old. He is now 2 years old. He absolutely loves the lessons. He is learning so much, real swimming skills that will benefit him in the future.

Water Babies has been a highlight of my baby's week since we started and it's been wonderful to see her confidence in the water grow! Her instructor, Holly, is fantastic with her and all the babies, making the lessons relaxed and fun every time.

Oscar loves his water babies classes and although he is only 11 months, I already feel like he has learnt key safety skills.
Hannah, his teacher, is such an enthusiastic and friendly, always explains things clearly, and why they are important for babies safety.

The lessons themselves are brilliant and the teacher (Claire) is patient and welcoming to all!
The booking process is long winded and non digital meaning need to speak with someone on a phone during working hours which is a bit inconvenient with a baby. This almost put me off entirely.
The facilities for changing at westerwood are not comfortable or suitable for a group of babies and parents to get dressed with spa users there as well. A few temp stand up changing tables for the babies would be really good so babies don’t need to get changed on the wet floor and parents dont need to crawl about the floor with them whilst also trying to get themselves ready. Not everyone is physically and mentally able to do this with their bodies(especially after child birth) and is a stressful part of the experience. I have another child in a different swimming lesson and they put out temp stand up changing tables for the babies going in the pool and have enough changing rooms with baby changing tables for the babies coming out so they are never on the soaking wet floor! When paying such a higher price for these lessons I would think they could do a bit more here to help that. Worth it though for the life saving and essential skills they teach in the actual lesson

We’ve been coming to water babies for over 2years…. It’s been a really important part of our son’s life. Not only has it made our son confident in water but he’s had such a good time too learning life and confidence skills. In particular we’d like praise the professional, happy, positive, supportive and kindness of his teacher.

Water babies is good and has helped my baby get use to the water, however it is very expensive for what you get. And if you miss a class you get a token to use at another class as a catch up lesson which is good but is sometimes difficult to go to 2 classes in one week. It would be much better if you could say in advance you were going on holiday then not be charged for those lessons.
My baby goes through stages of liking and not liking the classes too, they go underwater a lot in each class which can sometimes be quite upsetting for them when they are small. I think this gradually gets better, but some babies will just not like that part very much.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Water Babies! From the very first class, the instructors have been warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive-not just for our baby, but for us as parents too. The sessions are thoughtfully designed to be both fun and educational, and it’s amazing to see how much confidence and comfort our little one has gained in the water.
We can’t recommend Water Babies highly enough. It’s hands down one of the best things we've done for our child’s development, confidence, and happiness.

I have been with water babies since my little one was tiny, he’s now 2. Still enjoys his class and all teachers we have had are lovely. They sing songs incorporated with learning and teach safety skills suitable to their age. Not being a strong swimmer myself, it was important to me he started his swimming journey early on. Would definitely recommend.

We had such a fantastic experience at the Water Babies photoshoot at Arnprior Farm on 14th June 2025. The whole session was brilliant from the swimming activities to the photoshoot itself. The team made everything so fun and relaxed, and my little one absolutely loved it.

The photos turned out amazing- such special memories captured beautifully! We couldn’t be happier with the results and will treasure them forever. Highly recommend to any parent thinking about booking, it’s such a wonderful experience. 💙

Only down side is our locations pool it’s a very high sided pool but doesn’t dampen our lesson.

We LOVE waterbabies! My wee one is absolutely loving the classes and is so confident and happy in the water at 7 months old!
