I sent my Rolex to Watch Repairs USA in for repair and doubt that I will see it again
I sent my Rolex to Watch Repairs USA in May 2026 and received an estimate of $919.53 for a new crystal and an overhaul. I paid the estimate. I have never received a date of return and today, 22 August 2026, I received an email asking for updated billing information. When I clicked on the link, it showed information of someone else. I did not furnish any additional information and will probably lose my money and my watch. What an awful company. I have reported it and hope that they are put out of business. What a scam. They trick you into sending in your watch and then hold it for ransom.
ANOTHER negative Watch Repairs USA review
I am going to add another negative review of this "company" since it's all I can do to vent my frustration (in addition to reporting them to the BBB). I too am at a loss as to why I didn't scan the reviews first because I always try to.
I sent them a Hamilton Kahki model which needed the crystal replaced. I packed it securely with a cover over the watch face for protection with the second hand still working and moving freely. They told me that the watch was not functioning properly and required complete servicing. They wanted to do a quartz motor repair, repair the circuit board, check parallelism, clean and re-oil. They also told me that due to the design of the watch case, water resistance could not be guaranteed! Price: $350.
And all this for a watch which I had for over a year that was working perfectly!
To top it all off, the watch would take 2 to 3 months for repairs because they still needed to get the parts. And that's on top of the three weeks it took them to get back to me with the "estimate".
It's probably fitting that their Customer Reviews section sent me to their location on Google maps!

Dent repair $99.99 (not repaired and returned with dent)

One month later watch could not be wound. Called them and they said the warranty is in effect and covered
Sent back, email from them saying a jewel came loose and not covered under warranty ! Another 150 sent to repair. Watch returned again and still not working.
I have since found a local horologist and would never use Watch Repair USA again. I asked to discuss with management to receive no response
I see where others have had the same or worse experience.
Watch Repairs USA sucks !!!
I had a very bad experience with this business. The crown had come out of my wristwatch. Supposedly they started working on it on 2/11/2026. After a long hassle with them, I finally received my watch on 7/25/2026. They are very rude and are not a reputable company. They also have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. I will not be doing any business with them again!

I sent this company my watch to have a link added to the band. They had the watch for 2 months and said it would be eight more weeks before they could get the link to repair the watch. They are ridiculous I was lucky to get my watch back I was afraid they would just keep it I called them everyday was the only reason that I got the watch back from them. Avoid them at all costs! Great advertisement on their part but also a scam. They should be grossly ashamed of themselves. Don't let there add for you. Very unprofessional company if it even is a company. They will give you nothing but the runaround.

Sent classic UDT watch in for repair estimate. They quote almost $1,000 cost but won’t guarantee if watch will be waterproof and suggested to keep watch away from water, and extended time to complete repairs. WTF??
Rep only read the company script, never addressed my questions/concerns.
Stay away from this clown company!!!
WARNING ‼️ DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!
WARNING ‼️ DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!! They took my money and my watch and never returned either! Order #437567.
Don’t Expect to get your watch back.
I am kicking myself for not looking at these reviews before paying these thieves to rebuild my watch. Four months after paying over $400 I have no watch, no updates, and no answers from customer service. A complete ripoff. Stay away from these criminals.
An update. After multiple attempts to either get my watch back repaired or get my my money back, I warned them that I was going to file a fraud claim. Still no response, so I filed a complaint with PayPal, which was how I paid. After more time and still no response, PayPal reversed the charge and issued a refund. Two weeks later, I got a “revised estimate”, saying my watch was ready after almost 5 months. What crooks.
I read other reviews prior to sending…
I read other reviews prior to sending my 2 watches for a new battery (both vintage Jaz brand from the 80’s with hard to find tools just to open the back). I expected to wait but if they did qualify work, I was willing to wait. I still haven’t received them back…it has been over 6 MONTHS. The “free shipping” is only to send them your watch, if you want the watch back, you pay more shipping, I read that, that’s fine but it’s deceptive. I also was charged about 3 months after sending them my watches an additional fee for “repairs’. I would never use this company again. The only thing positive I would say is that they do respond to my emails. I was going to wait until I got my watches back to write a review but…I have no idea when that will be. Poor service.
TERRIBLE SERVICE & POSSIBLE THEFT OF WATCH!!!
Was told 10 - 14 weeks. Now 20+ weeks with no end in sight. Have requested the watch be returned fixed, not fixed, together or in parts, return the watch. No response.
Sent in my Tissot sport watch to have…
Sent in my Tissot sport watch to have the case back gasket and the case back installed and checked for water resistance. Received an email about the movement being dead. Told me that for $375 they would replace it. I asked them to return the watch as is. I paid for the return postage. A day later they emailed me an offer of $75 off. which I rejected. About a week later my watch was returned as I sent it except it was not working. So I decided to replace the battery. lo and behold the watch sprung to life. I decided to give Watch Repair USA the benefit of the doubt and waited a couple weeks. As I write this review I am looking at a perfectly working watch. Very disappointed in Watch Repair USA and will not do business with them or recommend them.
Watch Repairs USA is a scam
Watch Repairs USA is a scam. They are thieves who steal parts of expensive watches.
I sent them my Dior watch for repair a few years ago. This was a wedding gift! The case back had an issue & needed repair. My original documentation clearly states that the case back would pop open. They got back to me saying that the case back needed to be “replaced”. I agreed expecting the original Dior case back to be returned,. When the watch came back it had a cheap silver case back and I never got the original Dior case back sent to me. They stole it.
Additionally, the repair they did was of such poor quality that now no-one is able to open the watch to replace the battery. When I put an honest review of their bad service, they invited me to send my watch back.
So, a few weeks ago, I sent my Dior watch with the explicit instructions that they simply fix their own mistake & re-install the case back properly so I can get the battery replaced in my own.
They have been awful in terms of customer service. Per my last communication, they expect me to pay for this work and are not sending my watch back.
I want my Dior watch back before they steal more parts from it. And I expect the case back which they installed to be in proper form so I can get the battery replaced wherever I want.
They do such shoddy work and are completely untrustworthy. This should serve as a warning to anyone considering using Watch Repairs USA. They also owe me my original Dior case back.
i paid $500 last time for a horrible job where my Dior case back was also stolen by them.
Unfortunately
Unfortunately, all of the single star votes are too high for these grifters. I sent in a Seiko watch that is difficult to service being a diver's watch, but was reassured by Sandra Grady that they did indeed work on all Seiko watches, and that a normal battery change and cleaning would bring the watch up to manufactures specifications. The price seemed high, over $400, but I thought it would be within range if the watch received first class attention. What huge mistake on my part. After over four months (as of this date) not only has the watch not been fixed, they could not confirm that the watch was in their possession. It makes one think that they send all their work out....destination unknown. I was able to contest the payment, but no watch, and no idea if I will ever see it again. Filled out form with Illinois Consumer Affairs, and will do the same with BBB. Thinking about filing a police report. In short, stay away from these idiots, and let us hope that their business suffers a total collapse before more "customers" face a similar fate. All facts stated above can be confirmed by email. This business is pure $hit. Truly.
Succesful 1939 Lord Elgin Repair and Thoughts
I'm going to report contrary to the going story here.
Sent a 1939 Lord Elgin that was in rough shape in for repair. I sent it in before reading reviews, and I was more than a little nervous once I started reading up on Watch Repairs USA.
After the estimated 6 months, the watch was returned working, good amplitude, low beat error (0.3ms), and timekeeping is better than what I thought they'd manage. The vintage NOS watch strap that went with it came back just fine. I sent them a donor movement for parts, and that was returned as well.
Cost was $300ish which is fairly cheap. For reference, a local (albeit exemplary) watchmaker is working on a Movado for me at the rate of $600 for 8 months of wait.
I don't want to disparage any else's experience with Watch Repairs USA, but I have to wonder if people would have a better experience if they realized that watch repair is a slow process (esp if trying to find parts) with long backlogs, and never has a certain outcome. You're paying for someone to try and repair your watch, for which there may not be a fix even after a lot of work.
Local watchmakers damaged this movement, but these folks got it working, and did it for the original asking price, and in the rough length of time they estimated.
We'll see how it holds up (it is 87 years old), but as of now, I'd use their services again.
Made to Pay to Get My Watch Back Without Providing Any Service
I sent my Jean Richard watch in for a repair estimate. After a week, I heard back that they did not have the parts, then proceeded to ask for $32 to have my watch sent back to me. I looked on their website for the fine print that says I will be charged a return fee in the case that they do not provide service. Only thing I could find is a policy that states if the customer declines a repair estimate, the customer must pay a return fee. In my case, they took possession of my watch, said they could not do anything with it, then told me I must pay to get my watch back. That is extortion.
Watch Repairs USA advertised an…
Watch Repairs USA advertised an overhaul for $125. I sent my Citizen watch that I paid $500 originally for 10 years ago and got a bill for almost $900. All I wanted done was a new crystal or have it polished. They wouldn't do that and charged me almost $40 to get it back. I wouldn't use this company and would take it to a local jeweler or watch company that has more accountability to you.
Most terrible service I've ever dealt with
Sent my great grand father watch to just get get Crystal replaced on 12/11/25 and the watch was working. They sent me a $799 estimate to repair it on 3/25/26. I told them I just needed the crystal replaced and they said it needs all kinds of repairs and they can't just replace the $79 crystal. When I called and told them this they said they "ASSessed" the watch when I asked how they assessed it Jennifer the manager could not tell me how they did it she could only say they assessed it. Now I am going to take them to small claims court and we can have a Judge assess how guilty they are.
Here is what it says about them from Google search:
Watch Repairs USA has a polarizing reputation, with many recent reviews (2025–2026) citing severe delays, poor communication, and high costs, resulting in an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. While some customers report success with high-end brands like Rolex, numerous others report receiving nonfunctional watches or experiencing months of waiting, say Trustpilot reviewers and Yelp users
This discussion of how Watch Repairs…
This discussion of how Watch Repairs USA works does not represent at all the negative experience I am experiencing. No calls, doesn't answer their phone or emails half the time. I can't even get them to agree to send my watch back even if its still not fixed (3 months thus far.

How Randy Horgan Built a Watch Repair Empire with Trust & Tech
Total rip off
Waited months for it to be serviced and it came back nonfunctional right out of the box. Service was exorbitant and beyond what was asked for. Now I'm out the money and all I have is a watch that is right twice a day. They get one star for repairing the band which is what I asked for to begin with.
Rolex Oysterquartz Overhaul
I sent in my Rolex Oysterquartz after Rolex stated they no longer service that series. Watch Repairs USA did a fabulous job. They overhauled the electronics, polished to like new condition, and restored the dial. It keeps perfect time and the old yellowed dial looks new. Highly recommend them.
