Amazing view, great path down to the beach, comfortable furniture, nice assortment of free snacks. We loved going down to the beach in the morning for a long walk after breakfast. Wander Bandon Beach had pretty much everything we could want in a vacation rental. We are already looking at dates for a visit next year.

Overall, we had a great stay and already have a return trip booked. We had a small hiccup with check in but the Wander team handled it promptly and professionally with constant communication. The accommodations were amazing. The house had everything we could need for our group of 12 to make it a seamless vacation. The extra refrigerators, extra dishwashers and ice machine were very useful. The kids loved the pool table and their bunk room. The beds were some of the beds beds I’ve ever slept in. We look forward to our return trip.

We had a great time at the Wander property in Scottsdale!! It was the perfect house for our group of seven. We had plenty to do at the house to keep us entertained with the pool, massage room, game room, movie room, workout room, outdoor areas and the kitchen. The beds were all super comfortable and the bathrooms were plentiful so we all were able to get ready in our own spaces. We will definitely be booking through Wander again!!

We recently had our first experience staying in a beautiful Wander property on the Oregon Coast and it exceeded our expectations.The Orford Cliffs home provided stunning views that encouraged us to remain in the home and just relax while taking in the scenery. The home was very comfortable including adjustable beds and high end touches throughout. The conciere 24/7 service made every question or need a breeze to resolve and I enjoyed the Wander App local recommendations. We hired a private chef to prepare a meal for us and it made for a memorable experience. We would definitely recommend Wander as a place to stay and relax.

Wander is second to none when it comes to customer experience. The best thing about wander is the consistency in the experience. From the fully stocked high quality homes to the concierge experience no matter who you're talking to, and the access to nature thats never too far, I love booking with wander and always onowinf what I’m going to get…down to the robes. Being able to trust home rentals the same way you trust a hotel brand like marriott is a huge plus for me hence why I continually book with wander.

So much better than a normal Airbnb! First of all, their properties are so unique - you know you are getting an elevated experience just from landing on their website. Then there is the concierge, the app with home-specific details and notes, the snacks when you arrive, the cozy robes and Nespresso machine. Everything is clean and dialed. I will prioritize Wander properties - they're just better!

I love being able to get away into a place that feels just like home. Wander has done that for us.

We had a wonderful stay at this Hill Country property with our family. The home was incredibly comfortable, with cozy beds and spacious rooms that made it easy for everyone to relax and feel at home. The kitchen was absolutely beautiful, well equipped, and perfect for gathering together.
The property itself was peaceful and well maintained, making it a great place to unwind and spend quality time with family. Everything was clean, thoughtfully arranged, and clearly designed with guests in mind. The out door sitting area and fire place are beautiful and we enjoyed the beautiful hill country view.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Hill Country.

We absolutely loved our stay at Wander Stowe Woods in February 2025. We were a group of four families including 3 kids under 10, and the house couldn't have been better. Everything we needed was there, and it seemed everything was thought of. Even sleds for the kids (and kids at heart) to enjoy on a sloping property perfect for winter fun. We cooked a few big dinners in the gorgeous kitchen, and every pot, pan, dish and utensil we needed, was there - as well as an assortment of spices which was great! The house was clean, the finishes, furnishings, and linens were all in great shape, and the beds and bedrooms were all very comfy and well equipped. We had a small issue with a door during our stay, and the concierge was very prompt with communication and resolution. Feeling safe and comfortable, and not having to experience any inconvenience, meant that we could truly relax and enjoy our vacation and each other's company. I highly recommend this house as a place to unwind and enjoy a group trip. We can't wait to book our next Wander house later this year!

I recently reached out regarding a property listed through Wanderer on Airbnb to ask about hosting a very small baby shower for about two hours. My message was detailed and respectful, explaining that it would simply be a quiet gathering of close family to open gifts and spend a little time together.

While I completely understand that some properties may not allow gatherings, I was disappointed by the response I received, which was simply “no thank you,” without any additional context or courtesy. The answer itself wasn’t the issue — property policies are of course up to the host — but the tone and lack of customer service left the impression that my inquiry wasn’t given much consideration.

As someone who always tries to communicate respectfully when reaching out to hosts, I would have appreciated a more thoughtful response. Customer service and communication go a long way in creating a positive experience for potential guests.

Loved the place and the helpful concierge

The house was lovely. The arrival and departure instructions were clear and easy to follow. We had a wonderful trip - I plan to stay at the Wander Black Mountain house again!

This company should be ashamed of itself. It contracts privately owned homes from families and then prioritizes its own interests while leaving owners to deal with the consequences.

For a company that relies entirely on other people’s homes, the lack of accountability and basic respect is shocking. I would strongly warn any homeowner to think twice before trusting them with such a significant asset.

If youre looking for a vacation rental, do yourself and the system a favor, and bypass this abhorrent company.

I had the same issue as the reviewer who posted 3 days prior. I booked a stay where it clearly said free cancellation until May 6th, but now when I try to cancel it months in advance of that date, it says it is non-refundable. I would not trust this website at all for family vacations especially when thousands of dollars are on the line. I plan to pursue legal action because of this highly illegal false advertising.

Booked a great looking house for a family vacation in Big Sky for March and received a confirmation soon after. Two weeks later, after ten people had booked flights, we were informed they had "identified an incorrect rate on the listing for this home" and the reservation was being canceled and refunded.

Additionally, at the time of booking the Wander website noted there was free cancellation through February. The confirmation was inconsistent with this and stated there were no refunds allowed at all.

Would be hesitant trusting Wander with a future family vacation and take screenshots of the booking page if I did.

Recently went to wander Inn in albufeira Portugal,
Last Sunday I had the lunch, one of the best I’ve had here for a long time.
Friday evening ,fish and chips, brilliant. Best yet.
I’ve been coming to Portugal for many years and this restaurant (recently changed hands) I would recommend, friendly, clean, fresh food.

This is a recommendation based on responding to an error. I tried to book a property with Wander, but was prevented from doing so because the advertised price was incorrect on the website. Wander was extremely apologetic, and elevated my concerns immediately. The COO handled the issue personally, and was tireless in pursuing a solution. There was openness, honesty and transparency throughout. My family is now visiting a different property in their portfolio, and my faith in their brand is not only intact but actually enhanced. This is what excellent customer service should look like. Super impressed.

Second time staying at a Wander property and it just keeps getting better! It's now this family's go to when it comes to vacation rentals.
