I loved this walk!It was well organised -I got lots of helpful info from walk with williams in a timely manner . The bag transfers were also well managed. I booked at the last minute and appreciate that choice of b and bs were limited , most were lovely with very helpful friendly hosts. I would definitely book with this company again

The accommodations were clean, roomy
And food was excellent
Staff was attentive
Would stay at any of those establishments again.
The baggage was prompt and our bags were delivered in a timely manner

Such a great company to do the Hadrians Wall walk with. A testament to them is that all of the hosts at the B and Bs said how wonderful the company were to deal with too. Our luggage was always waiting for us at the next destination and the accommodation was spot on. We had wonderful breakfasts and the information pack was extremely helpful. A flawless experience that was also excellent value for money!

I recently walked the Ridgeway and Walk with Williams handled all the organisation of the trip. I was really impressed with all the arrangements prior to my departure including very quick responses to my queries and a reassurance about getting away at the end of the walk. The stages had been planned well (not too long) and the accommodation was near enough to the path to walk to and from (apart from when a taxi picked me up and that all worked well too). The information pack was well-structured and I liked the information format of a page a day so I could understand exactly where I was walking to and how long the stage was. The luggage transfer worked like a dream and I was glad to see my trusty red case at the end of the day. The map and guidebook were great and I didn't get lost at all. I would definitely recommend Walk with Williams to other walkers!

Everything was beautifully organised and considered for us. The accommodation bookings and suggestions for where to eat suited us perfectly and it was so appreciated arriving to find our bags waiting each evening! The maps and guides provided were all we needed and knowing there was a helpline we could call very reassuring.

We had 3 days on the Northumberland Coastal Path - from Seahouses to Berwick. The holiday was well organised and communication from Matthew was good - and the walking was the right distance each day for us.

We received the joining instructions and maps in advance; the packing list was helpful but didn't include binoculars, which we wished we had taken - we forgot! The accommodation was generally good - although maybe the choice was made more tricky by having the dog with us. Staff in the hotels were all good.

The luggage transportation worked really well.

I would use Walk With Williams again.

Walk with Williams organised everything perfectly for this trip. The pre-trip information was very thorough and helped us to prepare effectively. They really did think of everything! The B&Bs booked were, on the whole, to a high standard with friendly and welcoming hosts. The taxi company was bang on time and reliable, so much so that we used it for our onward travel. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, made all the easier for knowing that accommodation had been taken care of. A great experience and would use Walk with Williams again without a second thought.

What a fantastic company! They took all the stress out of organising a long distance walk. They made the arrangements perfectly and everything ran exactly as we were told it would. Clear and helpful communication throughout. Absolutely recommended!

Walk with Williams organised our Northumberland Coastal Path walk perfectly. They found excellent dog-friendly accommodation for us all along our route and arranged the daily transportation of our luggage, which went without a hitch. The map and guidebook they gave us were both very useful for navigation and general information along the route. When we had one query about our accommodation and called, the response from Matthew was immediate and efficient. I can't speak highly enough of Walk with Williams. I'd thoroughly recommend them.

Walkwithwilliams did an excellent job with organising my walk following the St Cuthberts way with my dog. All the accommodation booked for me was dog friendly with very comfortable rooms, helpful, friendly staff and excellent food. I enjoyed staying in a variety of places from village pubs to a beautiful countryhouse hotel. The luggage transfer was efficient and I received very helpful and useful information about the walk to help me find my way and have the right kit. Communication was always helpful and efficient.

My wife and I walked the Icknield Way with Walk with Williams (WWW) earlier this summer. WWW did a great job for us; I had been struggling to find accommodation along the route, and Matthew at WWW found us some excellent places to stay, as well as arranging all our baggage and taxi transfers. The walk was tougher than we expected (we did it in 7 days, in very hot weather), but it was a fantastic experience. Peddars Way next! Thank you, Matthew and the team at WWW.

The organisation was excellent and the experience seamless. Williams considered our needs and walking distances, the taxi transfers worked very well. The accommodation was good and our info pack was perfect. Ideally we would have liked our info pack sooner so we could prepare and get excited; we got it about two weeks before we left on holiday. All in all a great experience and fabulous holiday in incredible scenery.

I had booked with Walk With Williams before and had no hesitation in using the company again. We booked to walk the Ridgeway really late this time and Matthew did his utmost to find us good accommodation (pretty successfully) when many of the usual places he uses were not available. All very efficient and nice to deal with.

We gave WalkwithWilliams a very short timescale to organise our walk along the Northumberland Coast Path.
Matthew responded very quickly booking all our accommodation, baggage service and taxi where needed and immediately sorted out an extra night on Lindisfarne, the highlight of our walk.
He provided information sheets outlining all relevant information we needed for each day by email and hard copy so very handy to take just one sheet with us each day or check on our phones.
Accommodation ranged from very good to excellent, baggage service and taxi great.
Everything was well prepared and organised for our walk.

The Walk with Williams team were always available with knowledge and advice, prior to and during our walk. Their notes on what we would encounter along the way made this beautiful Northumbrian coastal path a truly memorable experience. This was appreciated as we travelled from overseas to do the walk. Our nightly accommodation was always interesting and comfortable. Our extra luggage was always awaiting us.

We were very pleased with the way Walkwithwilliams planned the walk; it was good to be able to print a page for each days walk detailing directions and accommodation. We were also provided with a map and Hadrian's Wall book.

Accommodation, from YHA, Air b&b to hotels was good quality (yes even the YHA, private room!) all near the walking route, the one day it was off route a prebooked taxi had been arranged for pick up and return next morning.

Luggage transfer each day was a tremendous boon and worked like clockwork.

Knowing we were able to phone the Company if any problems arose gave a sense of security.

I would use Walking with William's again and certainly recommend them

After last year's walk along Hadrian's Wall had worked out so perfectly, we returned to WWW for our hike on the Northumberland Coast Path.
Once again, we received useful information on the route and tips on preparation in advance of our trip.
We give top marks for communication with WWW as well as for organisation of our accommodation and luggage transfer.
We certainly wouldn't hesitate to undertake our next walking trip with WWW.

Everything went very smoothly. Walking with Williams provided a really good map, and guide book, my bags were collected and ready for me at each stop on the way. I felt safe and there was a safety net if anything went wrong (but nothing went wrong). It was my first walking hoiliday with them and it wont be the last. I am already considering my next walk with them. I would recommend them espeically to lone walkers, who want the peace and freedom of walking at their own pace.

I recently finished 3 walks (see below) with Walk With Williams and was very happy with the arrangements- Over a 4 week period all the accommodation( except one) was to my liking, the luggage transfers were efficient and the taxi bookings were all punctual. I had many communications with Matthew while planning and a few en route and I felt I got a very personalised service. Some of the distances were underestimated door to door.I will use the company again

We had a great week walking St Cuthberts Way. Walk with Williams were very responsive to our requests and created a personalised itinery and provided us with maps and guides which were very helpful.

Where B and B accomodation was not available en route Walk With Williams organised a shuttle taxi for us. The baggage transfer process was very smooth and our bags were always waiting at the next hotel.

Overall this a great experience.
