I am a newcomer and late starter as one would say to archery. I cannot praise enough the attention and advice I received from Olly at Wales Archery. I have chosen longbow and his advice and guidance was invaluable. On both my visits the whole team there were very busy with some very challenging customers however the service I received was second to none. I will undoubtedly use them again.

Bought an archery glove that never arrived. Emailed the company and no response. Very unhappy.

Possibly the best buying experience I’ve ever had, huge choice to pick from, expert guidance with zero pressure and never rushed. They truly go above and beyond to ensure you have the right kit and it’s set up for you. I wouldn’t go elsewhere now for anything Archery related. Big thanks to Adam for all the help.

Outstanding. My husband and I visited just to get a ball park cost of getting our own kits. We were seen by Olly who was friendly, extremely helpful and absolutely no hard sell. We returned a couple of weeks later to be fitted for bows. Again seen by Olly who had patience with us and our newbie questions, was extremely thorough and seemed very knowledgeable. 3hrs later we had everything we needed picked and fitted to us. The riser we wanted wasn't in stock in the colours we wanted so had to be ordered. We got the call the risers were in about 2 weeks later and overly excited headed straight over. This time we saw Adam who spent nearly 2hrs with us setting up the bows. I have just returned from another visit after seeking their advice on barebow weights and changing my rest, as I am now string walking. Over an hour of again personal attention and advice, rest changed, brass nocks replaced with tie on, pressure button altered, weights sorted, nothing is too much trouble for any of these guys and no question too stupid. I highly recommend Wales Archery, especially if you are new to archery, they are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and are not out to "see you coming" and sell you what you don't need or push top range on you. Definitely gold stars all round for all staff.

There doesn't seem to be an option for zero stars. I phoned the shop on wed 28 feb to ask if they would take orders over the phone and payment by debit card . I ordered a bow (in stock) and arrows that would have to be custom made. I received a phone call from the shop on Tues.5th informing me that they had made a mistake with my card details and needed to redo the transaction. I can make mistakes so that wasn't a problem. I was told that my order would be sent out that day and I would receive it on Thursday, a tracking number would be sent via text msg. When no tracking info was received by Wed. afternoon I phoned the shop to check if there was a problem, a different member of staff then told me that the arrows were being made, so obviously the order could not have been sent out the day before, as I had been told, and I would have a further wait. There was no apology or even an acceptance that I was being messed around so I decided to cancel my order and have my money refunded.

My wife and I recently visited Wales Archery. We bought our bows and accessories 22 years ago and haven't used them for 20 years (life and children got in the way). We wanted a safety check of our equipment and help with re-familiarisation of how to shoot!

We were treated like VIPs and staff spent over an hour with us tending to our every concern. Completely shocked that they accepted no payment for this service - simply stating that they look after their customers.

This was a level of exceptional service that is very rarely experienced in 2023 - it made our day and year too! I could not recommend Wales Archery any higher.

Ordered starter kit online, good comms, and delivered early.
As a newbie had an issue stringing bow, so popped over to shop near me, very helpful staff, shop was very busy which is a good sign, so had to wait a little while, but it was worth it, got a free tutorial from one member of staff, had a look around the stock and they had a great selection of the shelf, very competent staff from a newbie perspective and will definitely use them again.
