The team at Wainwright’s have provided excellent service to me for over 10 years now. I have worked with Jamie but also with Andy and the bigger team on occasions. They are always on top of the accounts providing updates and reminders when necessary.
Wainwrights keep up to date with legal financial position so will update us when changes are made or budget updates take place. They also keep up to date with the latest technology so there are technical options available when submitting documents or making payments.

Do your research before employing this accounting service. My account manager was not very engaging and did not return calls or answer questions showing a lack of communication. The onboarding process was painful and the aftercare was not there and I had to continually phone to get progress on my accounts. If you are new to running your own business and dealing with HMRC I would advise you to look for a different accountant. In my short time (less than 7 months) with wainwrights I received one fine (not their fault but wasn’t warned it was coming), one phone call from a HMRC debt collection agency, one final reminder, and if I didn’t do the research myself I would have missed my self assessment date. The one star I have given reflects the work a senior member had to do to sort my accounts which were due to wainwrights failings.

If you are a small business or self employed I would look elsewhere for accounting support before you commit to this company.

I have been with Wainwrights for a while now and they take all my business problems away, everything is dealt with promptly and professionally and the team are superb. They take away the stress so I can focus on my business. Would recommend to everyone, especially Sarah who helps with all my weird and wonderful questions!
