The app was okay when I first started using it. But with customer service being all bots is annoying. I have been trying to get a response from customer service for over a day now. No response and no phone number. I will be closing my account and get my pay the normal way. You’d think with them handling peoples paychecks, there would be a phone number for customer service.

Absolutely shocking support for employers and employees.

Apalling customer service. Impossible to speak to a human being without a 3 working day wait. When dealing with something as important as people's pay you'd think they would have a contact number. I have been going in circles with their AI bot for 2 days now, it is completely useless. Even when you say the matter is urgent the bot basically says theres nothing it can do.

Customer care is appalling! I've been trying to sort of my account for 2 - 3 days, with no response for 2 days by all of the support staff!
INCREDIBLY UN-PROFESSIONAL

Handy when needed but unlike another service out there that Jet2 uses and mitie, when trying take out a small affordable loan, you keep getting knocked back, where as the above two mentioned because your wage is paid directly into your bank, before it arrives they deduct the amount per month straight away so you know it's always paid on time and correctly
I appreciate the service it's helped me and my daughter a few times, but when your keep getting charged £2 per time to take out what would be the equivalent of the loan you wanted it seems that this could be tailored better end of the day it's a service for colleagues if asel, they know we are working full time, they know we get paid and they know they can take there payment straight away like they do to take back what you have already used or taken
In my case my daughter's wedding coming up, been using a bit extra to pay for the food booking the DJ, booking the venue etc and still have some to do one affordable amount would be a big help where it's paid back each month rather than £2 here £2 there £2 here as that ads up on top of what you have taken and used so 8 small amounts that's a extra £8 on top why not do a simple loan £1000 paid back at £65 what ever a month straight for pay

I would recommend anyone to avoid wagestream, it is a terrible app which I had to use because of my work place and I have the worst experience all along,
They deducted money completely unrelated to my emergency payment from my emergency payment,
You are stuck in a toxic cycle of getting your salary earlier and puts you in a terrible position that you cannot come back from once you start,
Avoid at any cost.

Its just a really unreliable service, the shifts show up on the app days or weeks later........ I've had issues where the shifts don't show up at all!!! The customer service is also pretty bad with no support phone number, just an AI bot..... If you manage to get through to a member of the team via messages, the response times are very slow, sometimes hours and they just brush you off with an automatic message saying 'Passed on to the Tech team' My issue was never resolved........ They Initially blamed the issue on my employer, however was proven not to be the case, before they looked in to further. I've had an on going issue now regarding shifts showing on the app for 3 weeks now and still not rectified.

Scam!!!!! stay away rip people off on split payments ...they don't work bye cut off and still take and take ... please don't install

Unreliable with updates. It's supposed to update 6 or 7 hours after your shift finishes. In recent months it can remain not updated for 60 hours!

Just the most appalling customer service, literally no one to talk to. Chat BOT hopeless, Email BOT non responsive.

It states that session has expired. Please close and reopen Wagesteam to refresh. It doesn't matter how many times I do this. It keeps stating this, both on my laptop and phone.

Horrendous customer service and when you do eventually get a reply from someone they are rude and unhelpful. Awful

Customer service is trash and will gaslight you. Waited 6 weeks for my debit card and still don’t have it. Asif from customer kept telling me to wait 10 days before I contact them!!! No phone number to call. Not worth the stress! Terrible people and company.

Ive had Liz’s experience in her review below. Ive been fussin to get my funds for a week now. The app ‘sign in’ doesn’t recognize my email, my school org has deposited the money to the acct, as per my pay stub, Im am currently emailing with “Usif” sending proof. Not only have I not been able to access 1dime of money earned, NOW I cant even access MY PAYcheck that was just sent to them. This is NOT worth the angst😡

I have been trying now to set this up for well over a month now,everytime I input my details it says already registered? The chat support is no help what so ever and everytime I email I got no support at all.
All I want to do is register but knowone is willing to help me do that.
Very poor customer service and the fact that there is no telephone number is very poor. I have read these reviews and they seem good WHEN YOU ARE FINALLY SET UP and running but the whole process itself as been a shambles and very hard work when I've heard so many good positive results from collegues at my organisation.

Comes in handy when I'm a bit short, you can grab some cash that's already earned.

I love the app very helpful to me if I urgently need money straight away.

The app is so easy to navigate around. Has very helpful info as well. The growing account is very handy too in terms of having an extra savings account. Also having access to extra cash when you need it for those unexpected costs. Its nice to see how much money you earn on a daily basis and you can readjust your budget as per your estimated fortnight pay.

It's a great way to access money when you need it but to be only able to take out 50% of it ,instead of being able to access it all is a pain. But I'm glad that I can get some of it .

I have 8 kids so being able to access my pay early really helps with day to day struggles. I also love that it only allows you to access half so you are guaranteed a weekly income to help if needed like me.
