What a brilliant system this is. Good value, simple to setup and works well with an easy to use app interface. Very happy and would highly recomment to any boat owner looking for a monitoring system.

Overall I’m very pleased with my VirCru system . This system has a lot of potential to do even more . I recently purchased the PIR sensor to add to my system . It’s great that it will tell me if there in an intruder on board but it would be better if there was alarm that sound for let’s say 2 minutes . Enough to make intruders flee.
The system has been reliable . I’d like to see improved functionally within the app . Getting high boat angle notifications and having to clear them one at time while underway is not great.
These notification trigger as soon a I start my engine and rev it which makes me think the system could do with some filtering to improve EMC compatibility . I’d like to be able to disable some things while on board .

Very happy with remote monitoring.
This is my second season with the Vircru system on my 22 foot motor boat. It’s a great peace of mind accessory and being able to ensure batteries are at the correct voltage and temperatures throughout the boat and in the engine compartment is fantastic. The intruder alert has picked up when the yard have been onboard so I’m sure it will work if there was an intruder. Very happy.

REMOTE MONITORING OF CRITICAL YACHT PARAMETERS
The response on technical and logistics issues both time wise and in quality of response was excellent. Both the packaging and the hardware itself appeared of high quality.
The installation and commissioning was straightforward through the App.
I can now monitor various parameters on my boat, which is moored in the water in the Netherlands, from the comfort of my home in the UK. It takes away a huge amount of worry, for example: does the heating come on during a cold snap over there or if and when the shore power would get disconnected I can immediately call the marina and have the problem rectified.
The only gripe I have is that I have not managed to set an SMS alarm for the most critical sensors.
I look forward to further developments from this company.

Great First Impressions
Just installed Vircru on my 40 foot sailing boat. I don't often write reviews but since this system seems to be quite low profile online I thought I'd share my experience so far. I just set it up today, the app is good, the sensors are all remote, everything has a QR code on the back and you just scan each one and it's all set up.
Looks like a great system for monitoring while the boat is ashore over winter (intrusion detection, smoke alarm, tilt alarm, battery monitoring, temp monitoring) and looking forward to using it in the spring for anchor watch and bilge alarm as well.
Seems to be cost effective and lower energy use than other systems but still very very user friendly. Like a Sonos for boat monitoring.

One of my many Vircru sensors failed after some months of use. One e-mail to them and they shipped out a replacement free of charge. Excellent!

I ordered just the Hub which came well packaged with clear instructions and was straightforward to install. The app seems intuitive and I'm looking to forward to see how it performs going forward. So far, so good!
