We provide our basic web hosting service completely free of charge as we believe everyone should have the opportunity to develop their first website without any financial barriers. Our service is particularly beneficial for students who don't yet have a bank account to make online purchases such as web hosting. Our free web hosting uses the direct DirectAdmin control panel with locations in Luxembourg and New York and comes with affordable upgrades to cPanel based hosting. We also provide a full support experience to all customers including those on our free package through multiple channels including live chat, email and tickets. We never outsource our support; all of our agents are based in the United Kingdom and the United States.

They Make Me Happy

I literally can't state just how happy Vimly makes me. Everytime I call in, they are super friendly and knowledgeable. I don't have to wait 30 minutes for someone to answer the email either. Anytime I have an issue, they literally are HAPPY to resolve it. I have yet to speak with someone at Vimly that was rude or not helpful. THEY ARE GREAT and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND using them. Awesome job Vimly!

They deleted all my data!!!

Free hosting ended without email notice!
They had a notice of closure of free accounts through their website but they didn't send any email notifying us about this change.
I just realized that they closed mine & my wife's accounts when I realized that our websites stopped working.
How can you stop your services without sending an email?
Now me & my wife cannot access our data!
Total unacceptable!!

Thank you for taking the time to review us and apologies that you've had such a poor experience, it is NOT the norm. Firstly, I’d like to apologise for the significant delay in responding to your review.

We can see that you where formerly a free hosting client. Unfortunately, due to the recently announced cPanel price increases, we were unable to continue servicing free customers. Once we where aware of this, we immediately began notifying customers by email, through social media and via press releases.

The following emails where sent on the dates listed to all clients that had provided contact emails within cPanel:

08/03/2019 - FINAL NOTICE: Your account will be closed in less than 48 hours!
07/31/2019 - URGENT: Your account will be closed in 5 Days!
07/22/2019 - Your account will be closed in 14 Days!
07/07/2019 - Your account will be closed in 28 days!

As you can see from the emails above, a total of 4 email reminders where provided throughout the 28 day closure period. However, you appear to have not received these email reminders. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts and contacting mailchimp and gmail regarding this issue, we have being unable to identify the reason these email reminders did not reach your inbox.

We did receive and acknowledge your support ticket, where you requested a copy of the email headers in the emails we sent. Unfortunately, we where unable to provide these as emails where sent through mailchimps mail server, and we don’t have access to individual email records to that level.

Further to this, we received an additional request for data access, which are management team promptly responded to. Unfortunately, you made this data request a number of days after your account was removed from our server and we did not have sufficient resources to continually store client data. Additionally, we where still under the expectation that you had received the reminder emails before this point and collected your own backup through the provided cPanel backup options.

Further to this, our terms of service indicated that we would do not routinely backup client accounts, a term which you ageeed to when you signed up to our service:

You understand that you will remain solely responsible for taking backups of your account. We do not guarantee that any self-generated backups will be error free, and customers are responsible for making sure their backups contain all the files they require. Furthermore, you are not permitted to store any self-created backups wether created manually or through the backup utility on our server for more than 72 hours. VimlyHost and it’s partners will not and can not be held liable, if the failure of a backup causes you direct, or indirect financial loses.

You can locate this under the ‘Quality Of Service Statement’ subsection in our terms of service policy.

We do apologise that you were not satisfied with the closure of our free hosting services, however we believed at the time we made reasonably attempts to notify clients of the impending closure.

Firstly, we wish to apolgise for the delay in replying to your review. In this case an investigation with our management and legal team had to take place due to the way you responded to our requests.

Upon looking up your customer records we can see all your tickets where responded to within our 12 support SLA listed in our terms of service and the longest wait for a reply was for 9 hours from activation team of which a 24 Hour SLA is clearly displayed in our terms of service and on our website.

Furthermore, we can see you attempted to host an xenforo forum and when we requested for your license key so we can verify you were not going to use pirated software on our service you refused and instead clicked the option to review us in the reply requesting for this evidence. We requested for this evidence as xenfero is $140 Per License and as you were applying for a free account, we wanted to confirm you did indeed hold a valid license.

As a result of your actions, and as per our terms of service and company policy we have notified Fraud Record of these actives and you have being flagged as having a criminal intent as copyright infringement is a criminal offence in the United Kingdom.

Unfortunately, as this stage we have also flagged your account as fraud and as such we will no longer be accepting new orders from yourself. If you obtain a license key for xenfero or already own one and wish to use our services, please email Legal@VimlyHost.net and we will confirm the validity of your license with xenfero. If we are able to confirm this, we will be glad to provide you an account, as long as our terms of service are fully adhered to.

We will be notifying you of this response via ticket as well as through the automated emails sent by TrustPilot. If you wish to co-operate with our team we will be glad to work out a solution.

Best Super Fast Free Hosting Ever!

I used many hosting before free and paid both then I saw their free Hosting service I didn't believe this at first but then I thought let's give a try.
I applied for their free service and used their service for days and I was just like WOW this is something Else! Their Customer service is amazing super fast and very helpful and can you believe it this hosting provide free SSL installation!
and their server is superb. when I checked my page speed I was shocked! I never get so fast page speed using a free hosting!

Overall Best experience so far and very happy :)
