Vertex Renewable Surveys Ltd is an independent, survey-only renewable energy assessment company based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, serving installers and homeowners across the UK. We do one thing: we survey. We don't sell heat pumps, solar panels, batteries or heat loss calculations as part of an install package — which means our reports are genuinely independent. Our customers get the evidence they need to make a decision, not a sales pitch dressed up as a survey. Every job we take on produces a Vertex pack: photos, measurements, room-by-room heat loss calculations (MIS3005-D aligned), cylinder and pipework assessments, noise and siting checks, and a written report delivered through our secure portal — usually the same week as the site visit. For installer companies, we work as an outsourced survey team. Same-week turnaround, fixed per-pack pricing, consistent pack structure across every job, and no competing commercial interest in the install outcome. For homeowners, we provide a one-off independent survey they can share with any installer they choose. We cover England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, with a home base in Yorkshire. Professional and friendly, couldn't have asked for a better service
Surveyor Stephen arrived bang on time and was very professional and easy to talk to. He must have been here about an hour getting all the measurements and told me what he was doing all the way through, who to send extra drawings to etc. Couldn't have asked for a better service

Highly recommend
Highly recommend! Very professional service.
Arrived on time, and carried out a thorough survey.
Steve answered all my questions asked !(And o do ask questions!). Very knowledgeable, with a vast expertise within his field work and renewables.
More than comfortable letting him go around my home, doing what he needed without question.
From start to finish with the first call from Dave it’s been seamless and without issues.

Professional and friendly survey
As other people have said, Stephen was very friendly but also professional. He explained everything, got on with his job, answered our questions. We would definitely recommend Vertex based on our experience with Stephen.

Excellent service from Vertex Surveys
Steven was wonderful. Very friendly but also professional. He explained what he needed to do and I was able to leave him to it. He showed me the work at the end of the survey and encouraged me to get in touch if I had any more questions. Definitely would recommend Vertex.

Very thorough
The assessor, Simon, was friendly and respectful of our home. He was very thorough, taking about 2.5 hours to carry our the survey including about 40 minutes going through questions with us.

All together a great experience with good service
The Surveyor (Steve) was a really nice bloke- professional, very polite but friendly and very easy to talk to. He explained everything fully and then got on with his work and was extremely thorough. I felt very comfortable leaving him to get on with his work without needing to shadow him. All in all a very good experience-I can highly recommend.
