Every country I try, I get back the message "Sorry! No number available for the selected country...". This has been going on for more than a week now. I suspect they may be going out of business.

Those strange characters mean the upstream service sent us a text that didn't match their usual format. That of-course isn't a reason for you to lose your credit, it is our fault.
We now use AI for "other" services, so you can rest assured you wont experience the same issue again.
Please email support@veritel.io with the message details and I will reimburse you and place 5 dollars on your balance for a clean retry. Thanks for flagging the bug and sorry for the late response.

You deserved a prompt answer months ago and I regret the delay. If none of the numbers produced a text you should not have been billed. If you were, email support@veritel.io and I will fix it. I will also add 5 dollars so you can test a fresh batch free of risk. Your feedback helps us tighten our screening of recycled lines.

DO NOT BUY FOR ANY REASON
I have tried for the last 2 hours, but every possible number doesn't work at all. I have tried over and over again but it's clearly useless. This made me question whether the service is legitimate. So I bought another number, and used my own personal phone to send a message to it and it couldn't even recieve my message. Lastly, there's not even an option to refund the money or even anywhere that talks about getting your money ANYWHERE in the site. You are genuinely better off going to a shop, buying a new pay as you go sim and recieve the messages there, never mind, anything is better because this service doesn't even work at all.
TL:DR Phone numbers don't work, and you can't even recieve messages if you want to.

I understand the frustration. Our numbers can be refunded after 2 minutes if no text arrives, but that clearly failed for you. Email us at support@veritel.io with your order numbers. I will return every cent and add 5 dollars so you can see the service under normal conditions, or simply close the account if you prefer. Either way you will not be left out of pocket.
I also want to point out that sending a message from your personal number will NOT work. We filter all inbound sms to ensure it is only used for the service paid for. The number would have received your sms, but we would not have shown it on the dashboard.

A simple solution for solopreneurs.
Starting a business with limited resources is hard. Really hard. Especially by signing up on platforms that require a US number. Veritel just solved that. I was skeptical at first because I'm not used to this kind of tool. But the Dany (Support) guided me through the setup.
Sounds cheesy but this tool helped me a lot. Hope this gets big!

Credibility due to Stripe
Much better than other companies I've tried. I’ve had a higher success rate here and it’s easy to deposit credit because they use Stripe. The other sites always use unheard-of platforms to take my money.

Needed a number for Uber and this worked perfectly. I'll keep using this service because I can get multiple uber promotions. Customer support is also great, they answered my questions when I was confused.

Found this site from reddit. I would give it 4.5 stars just because sometimes I need to order 2-3 numbers for one to work, though you get a full refund automatically for what doesnt work.
