Great shoot session for my bump and newborn shoots. Caitlin and Beth were awesome. Venture photography is it for us.
Can’t wait to do the one year old project with them.

Scam of a company ‘WINNER’

I “won” a competition with Venture for my cat to have a photo taken. Shortly after, I was bombarded with phone calls asking me to pay a deposit, which I was clearly told was fully refundable.

After speaking with friends and family, they warned me that everyone seems to “win” these competitions and that they’re not actually free — you’re pressured into buying very expensive photo packages. Because of this, I decided to cancel the whole thing and requested a refund.

Within the 48-hours before the appointment would be taking place I explained that I wanted to cancel as the experience wasn’t truly free. The representative admitted that yes, it isn’t free, said they understood, and told me a refund would be requested and processed within a certain number of working days.

However, after checking the terms and conditions myself, I discovered that no refund is given unless you complete the photo shoot, which directly contradicts what I was told on the phone.

This feels extremely misleading. They must make a lot of money from people falling into this trap, and it’s honestly shameful. Transparency is seriously lacking, and I would not recommend this experience to anyone.

We had been with Venture studios before for a newborn shoot with our first child and really wanted to obtain a similar piece of wall art for our second baby.
This time round we went in with a 2 year old toddler and a newborn, a little more challenging. Our newborn was calm and cooperative, but our toddler was not that straightforward! Hannah and Steph have done an amazing job though, seizing the moments for good photos, playing along with the toddler, having a break, thinking out of the box, and being very patient throughout.
It all resulted in a nice set of wonderful pictures, true work of art, and we’ve got some beautiful keepsakes for our wall!
If we ever have more children, we will definitely come back again :)

Absolutely loved our newborn photography session with Eleanor. Really enjoyed the experience and the photography results, and very excited to host the images at home. Also to mention, we were very impressed with how Eleanor handled our baby throughout the session. It was clear that she has dealt with many babies and we appreciated that she was very empathetic, compassionate, and flexible to ours and our baby's needs. We were put at ease and had no worries at all, also appreciating Venture Studios providing the time slot to allow baby feeds and changes included. Would happily recommend to others!

Had an incredible experience both for our photo shoot and cinema experience to look pack at all our pictures.
We felt so relaxed by both Kelly and Ricky during our time.
Kelly had done an amazing job in doing the shoot, asking our interests and getting the most perfect images for us. To be followed by Ricky in talking though all our options of photo display, frames, styles and how best to place things.

Would highly recommend. We cannot wait to see the finished products in place

Dom and Lois were absolutely awesome! We didn’t know what to expect from the shoot but they made us feel so comfortable and it was so much fun. The took some epic shots and edited the pics brilliantly. No hard sell and lots of lols! They didn’t even flinch when our dog Elvis bobbed on the floor 🤣

Absolutely amazing experience. Jess was incredible with our son and Liv was brilliant at our viewing. 100% recommend

Meg photographed me & my baby boy for our first photoshoot & gave us a magical and precious experience i’ll never forget. going through the photos with Jas was a beautiful intimate moment & she explained all my options simply and easily. the images are absolutely stunning and they’ve captured his personality to a tee! 2 lovely ladies who have made the start of this year extra special for me. thank you guys :)

We had such an amazing experience. The photos that Dom took came out absolutely incredible. Dom was such a delight and really made us feel welcome and listened to everything we requested as well as coming up with some amazing ideas too! The whole team was so lovely. So so happy with our pictures, cannot wait to enjoy them for a lifetime!

WOW!! Where do I even start, we had GiGi as our photographer and her level of services were impeccable!

She made us feel extremely comfortable from the get go, as going and having your photographs taken can always be nerve racking but once in with GiGi we felt the complete opposite.

We had our family photos taken with our two girls and they came out absolutely amazing!! These are photos we will cherish for a lifetime! Anyone looking to have their photos taken should most definitely look at having them taken here at Venture Photography with GiGi.

We can’t thank her enough as her patience went above and beyond especially when our little became overstimulated and fussy, she settled her so well and managed to get those extra photos.

We will most definitely be looking to come back for our child’s next milestone photos and will 100% be asking for GiGi.

She is an absolute credit to team and business, we can not thank you enough GiGi.

I attended Venture Photography Studios in Nottingham with my daughter and son in law for a newborn photoshoot of my grandson. The shoot was a gift from his great grandma, who had purchased a newborn photoshoot, a one year photoshoot, plus an additional £50 voucher for extra photos.

The photographers themselves were pleasant and took some genuinely lovely photos. Unfortunately, that is where the positives ended.

When it came to viewing the photos, we were stunned by the pricing. The cheapest option was £95 for a single photo, with packages escalating to well over £2000 for all digital images. This felt completely disproportionate and left us feeling disgusted. My grandson’s great grandma was very upset, having spent a significant amount of money on the gift believing it would result in meaningful, affordable keepsakes.

To make matters worse, when we selected the two photos we were willing to have, we were then told they could only be printed in 5x5, not 7x5 as originally implied. Despite being smaller, the price remained exactly the same. No reduction, no explanation, just another example of the pricing feeling arbitrary and exploitative.

We were also told we had to return for a viewing appointment or be charged an extra £25, which felt unnecessary and pressurising. When we returned, we made it clear from the outset that we only wanted the free photo included in the package. Despite this, we were subjected to an aggressive hard sell. We said no repeatedly, yet were continually offered so called discounts, bundles, and payment plans.
In the end, we felt forced into buying an additional photo at £95 purely so the £50 voucher was not completely wasted. Even then, when one staff member left the room, another whispered to my daughter about interest free payments for six months in a final attempt to push a larger package. It was uncomfortable and inappropriate.

The overall attitude felt robotic and falsely friendly, with sales clearly prioritised over people. I dread to think how overwhelming this process must be for those who are less confident or assertive.

We will not be returning for the one year photoshoot and will be using a local photographer instead. I would strongly advise anyone considering Venture to fully understand the pricing structure and sales tactics before booking, as the experience was far more about extracting money than creating memories.

We received our complimentary photoshoot through Emma’s diary. Me and my partner went with our 6 week old little boy and honestly it was an amazing experience, Jordan and Izzy were so patient and caring! I can not thank them enough! The photographs and moments they were able to capture are truly amazing! We then went back for our viewing and was greeted by Ricky and Coby, they worked hard to create the set up of images we wanted for our home. I would 100% recommend venture studios!

Meg photographed our rescue cat, allowed the cat time to settle down , no rush to get the right shots. We were the last session of the day, so we all had time to try different backgrounds.

We had an amazing and fun time with our gorgeous little dog. We were made to feel welcome from the get go. Ellie made us and our dog feel relaxed and listened to our photo ideas and made great recommendations as well. The whole photoshoot was fun and flew by. Ellie was very professional and interacted with all 3 of us. Seeing the final results of our photos was breathtaking. We have never had such amazing pictures of not only us as a couple, but as a family with our dog. Every picture was amazing and you could feel the energy shining through. We can’t wait to take delivery of our final collage of pictures. Thank you also to Zoe for setting up our photoshoot. She was very helpful and enthusiastic. Thank you both but especially Ellie….we had the best time and we now have the best photos of us 3 which we will always treasure.

Had a bump to baby shoot done , it was an amazing fun experience on both sessions with Ella being our photographer. She was so calm with my baby despite all her fussiness. The viewing was fantastic great service was given to ensure we get our pics. The pictures came out perfect than l expected l would recommend this studio over and over again. I was lucky enough to win a photoshoot experience. My partner, my dog and myself all attended for our shoot. We were called prior to arrange a date and another call to discuss what we wanted from the shoot and our ideas.
When we arrived the team was welcoming and friendly. Kelly was our photographer and really gave us the time to get as much different ideas in as possible and lots of ideas to try and capture awesome photos of our slightly awkward dog 😅.
We just went back for our viewing and was welcomed by Ricky. He was really knowledgeable and personable. He was transparent with our options and gave us some great advice.
There are some really good deals on at the moment so we happily took advantage of them and can't wait to pick up our image! We also got our digitals as part of the package the same day and they look great!

Meg was phenomenal - she was a natural with our baby - she was so relaxed and really captured us as a family. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. We enjoyed the company that much that the photoshoot went that quick and enjoyable. Best experience!

Jas gave us a first class viewing experience, she truly made our time memorable, personal and exciting ! We would do it again based on the customer experience alone, of course the amazing photography also!

Amazing experience. We booked a bump to baby shoot, everything was perfect with all involved making sure we got all the images we could imagine. Also was so caring, calm and gentle with our little one only a few weeks old. We had 2 shoots and a viewing experience, the photos came out better than we even imagined and we're so very greatful for that. Ordered our framed images to collect in a few week, so excited to have them on our wall to make our house a home. Highly recommend if you're looking to create and commemorate memories in photos. Thank you! x

Me and my carer Charlie came in for a photoshoot. I had a lovely time from start to finish, A couple weeks before the shoot we were called up by who i assume to be the booking director beth, as the email for “what you want for your shoot” was unfortunately missed as it was in my spam folder.

NEVER FEAR, Beth collected all my details for what I wanted for the shoot and vibe wise. Let me know about prices and all that jazz.

Before the shoot started we were offered a beverage, and led into the room by our photographer Taylor. We had a bunch of fun, brought props and had a laugh.

The viewing was lovely, for the viewing it was with beth. I feel like we met everyone whilst we were there lol and they were all very lovely

The photos were beautiful; we picked the gift share as were an online pair and that fit our tastes.

I will say it IS a little pricey, 900 odd pounds for the cheapest digital pack. HOWEVER, people MUST charge for their labour; and shoots plus editing isn’t easy and takes time to perfect the skill.

That being said its a luxury, but one you can choose not to get if you cant afford it.

Overall! Lovely experience, glad we did it!

Would never recommend this company Rude staff, don't consider baby's feelings, takes money from you and the worst thing doesn't give your pictures. Company needs to be shut down.
