My Experience
I wish I had read the reviews on Trustpilot before placing my order with Vending Superstore. This is the first and last time I will be using them for anything. I placed my order on Saturday 9th May – I didn’t get an e-mail order confirmation straight away, although given that it was a weekend and having just had a bank holiday, I wasn’t too concerned.
Monday arrived, still no order confirmation. I had to chase them on Tuesday for an order confirmation via their live chat on their website, as the e-mails weren’t being monitored and the phone lines were closed. Received the order confirmation, that also stated the order was being processed. I had no e-mail or correspondence from Vending Superstore since the confirmation, so I contacted them again (again via live chat) on Thursday 14th May just to have an update, I am then told that they are currently waiting for stock of one of the order items to arrive (when I placed the order – everything I ordered was in stock, according to the website.) The online chat agent ‘Harley’ then said she would e-mail to advise on an ETA for the out of stock item to arrive with them – I never received it. Getting more desperate, I also contacted them on Facebook Messenger, it is on here that some one told me that my order would be dispatched that night (Thursday) minus the out of stock item, that I will be refunded for and would be with me on Friday 15th.
I chased the delivery on Friday, to ensure it was going to arrive. Only to be told (surprise, surprise) the delivery has missed the courier and it was actually being dispatched on Friday and had been upgraded to a Saturday delivery for my inconvenience. I got the delivery address changed from my work address to my home address to make sure I received the delivery on Saturday. However, having looked more closely at the courier dispatch e-mail, it seems that the delivery hadn’t been placed on a Saturday delivery at all – but a next business day delivery on Monday!
I have now received my order more than a week after placing it, which after reading some reviews, isn’t that long a wait. However, it is the lack of communication on the part of Vending Superstore that has made me write this review more than anything - I have never had the kind of experience with any online order I have placed before. Lesson learnt though – always read the reviews before trying a new company.
