Would really recommend Smart Home Surveys - we got our survey booked in really quickly. Dan was great, wrote a really comprehensive survey report and had an indepth post survey call to talk through the issues the survey highlighted. He was frank and matter of fact which I really appreciated.

The service was efficient (done shortly after I requested it), cost effective (best price I could find) and they were quick to respond to my questions.

Our request for a survey was carried out within days of the instruction and the report followed soon afterwards. The survey was a level 2 survey with pictures and the report was very thorough and easy to understand. Over a telephone conversation, they recommended a level 2 survey because a level 3 one would be an overkill, even though there is quite a price difference for them. The pictures were optional and we found it very helpful as you don't always see what the surveyor sees during a viewing. The included phone call after the survey was extremely helpful to talk through the issues. For us, there was one particular issue they identified amongst others that is essential for our decision with the purchase and the report has come in time for us to pause the conveyancing work while it is being resolved. We don't know what the result might be yet but the survey results played a huge part in our decision making process. I would recommend their services.

The report was very detailed and easy to understand. The surveyor was very cooperative.

They even answered some of my follow-up questions two months later when my solicitor flagged some ground stability issues and they explained which ground stability checks they had done by default and what I could possibly do on top to feel extra safe.

We had a Level 3 Building Survey conducted by Smart Home Surveys on a property in Barnet. Adam was extremely helpful in organising the survey and clearly explaining what would and would not be included. Their online tool made it easy to keep track of the booking status and any date changes along the way.
