Terrible Outfit.

Terrible Outfit.
Delivery was later than expected.
The packages were damaged part opened.
Not even boxed in there logo boxes like my mates was.
Missing Fixing kit.
I was asked after many phone calls to contact JAKE and report my issues.
After sending email to JAKE and reporting with photo evidence and I was told Fixing kit will be sent out ASAP
Ok 7 days waiting where Are they.
I won’t and nor will my company use these ever again.
Check the market there is better out there as my engineer used one last week

We bought some shelves for our van. Transaction was smooth, shelving arrived quickly, very happy with the experience. The only thing we'd suggest is including some instructions on how to install the shelving rack as it's a bit of an escersise in guessing.

Hopeless Firm to deal with post order

Hopeless firm to deal with post order. Item dispatched but lost in transit. Emails ignored, phone endlessly rings out when it is answered the most disinterested staff answer the phone. Do not expect a call back what ever they tell you.

Took an age to establish the item was missing and even longer to get them to commit to dispatch a new set of racking. I cancelled in the end - I've got a vehicle sat waiting to be racked out that's a week late going on the road. Looking at the other reviews about shoddy work though I think I have dodged a bullet.

21.04. To clarify as Vanimal have whitewashed a number of points in their response (also this review got a quicker response than a legitimate sales enquiry which says a lot about their ethos) Email 15.04 asking for an update - Ignored. Phone call of 17th - took an age to answer and the person dealing with van parts was at lunch. No call back. Phone call 18th. 10 mins on hold to get the worlds most disinterested employee. 2 emails sent giving deadlines same day and finally got a response... Item water damaged by courier and they could organise a replacement. No offer of next day delivery and as it was 4pm by the time you replied it clearly wasn't going out on a next day and I wasn't a priority for you... Unlike your response to online reviews. Perhaps if your front end actually delivered you wouldn't have to defend your position on here

Thank you for your patience while I investigated this.

The order was placed on 10.04.23 and the item dispatched from ourselves on 11.4.23 for delivery to you on 12.4.23.

We chased this following notification from yourselves that the item had not been received and the courier confirmed that unfortunately the item had been damaged whilst in there possession and they had not informed us or yourselves of this.

Please be assured this has been raised with the couriers as this is not how we wish for our customers to be dealt with.

My colleague Jake had arranged to send a replacement part for you the same day that we had received this information but had stated that although we put these on a 24 hour delivery we cannot guarantee as once the parcel has left us we are reliant on the couriers.

As per your request a full refund has now been issued.

Good service from Vanimal

I purchased wooden shelving for my Renault kangoo van it arrived fast within 4 days.
It was well packed and surprisingly easy to put together. I hate woodwork so easy assembly was great.
I am a locksmith and this will give me valuable storage space, It fits my van perfectly.

I ordered a grill with lights in for a ford custom and it fit great and looks just as good as the picture shown. Very happy with the item and will be ordering again for sure. Would highly recommend as i have seen the quality.

Incompetent and total lack of customer service

I have never had to leave a review like this before for any company, but I have been left so angry and frustrated with this company due to their incompetence, being crooks and complete lack of customer service.

I ordered x2 of the sliding floor trays to fit into our work van back in September 2021. These cost around £1500 for the pair. The pallet was delivered a week or so later and signed for by a colleague in the workshop, as I was away with work.

Due to deciding to upgrade our works van and fit shelving units inside we decided to put the pallet to the side and wait to fit the sliding trays. When we came around to fitting the trays almost a year later, I opened the large box and saw there was only one tray in the box. As we are only a small business it wasn't rite that we should foot the bill of almost £800 for a mistake they had made. I do understand it was almost a year ago but it just didn't sit rite with me.

I spoke to Laura, who is apparently the Sales Manager at Vanimal, and she seemed to want to help, but then didn't call me back which she promised to do, and instead got one of her sales reps to send me an email basically saying they wont help or send the 2nd tray, which I had paid for, because it was a year ago since the order. Instead of trying to find a solution to make me happy, they basically explained in the email that they couldn't find any evidence that states that they had missed the order, basically saying that it had vanished into thin air or calling me a liar, I will let you be the judge of that. It made me so angry that in this email they were just stating the evidence that they hadn't done anything wrong, yet I am still sat here with an item missing and £800 down, they definitely didn't seem to care about that in the slightest.

I basically had to tell them to try and make things rite by at least offering a 2nd one at a discounted rate as we still needed the 2nd tray. This is when VANIMAL really showed their true colours and how much they value their customers, by proverbially giving me the middle finger.

- Sept 2021 I paid £785 per sliding tray including delivery

- Sept 2022 They quoted me £798 for a replacement, apparently with discount of £72.60 added, which I found so insulting. Not only have they stolen £800 of my money for something I bought and they DID NOT deliver but now they rub salt in the wound by offering me such an horrific price for a replacement which was more than the original cost. It shows to me their complete lack of empathy and any sort of care for their customers.

I have never said this before in any way shape or form but a business like VANIMAL shouldn't be trading with such incompetent people working there and especially when they don't give a care in the world about their customers.

I hope whoever reads this review prior to making a pricey purchase with your hard earned money, thinks twice before doing so, as they have proven with me that if anything goes wrong, no matter how long it was, they should do the rite thing, which they are obviously incapable of doing, after I gave the ample opportunities.
