Good service - but customer service? Perhaps not.
I was really impressed to start with. Service was good, delivery prompt. I was congratulating myself on finding a decent supplier.
The part supplied did not fit my radiator, despite coming with a number of adapters. Technical support were helpful and professional but advised that I should return the goods. I then hit customer ‘service’ who insisted that there was nothing wrong with the product so therefore I had “changed my mind” = I pay return postage and they knock £6 off the refund for their original postage (as other people have found). Will any response to this review be as defensive as the others I’ve read? I won’t use them again either but you know what they say about how much easier it (should be) is to keep a customer than to get a new one.

Hi Gordon,
After reviewing your issue I can see that the valve head you purchased would not fit your valve due to the lack of space between a nut and the adapter your particular valve needed. This is not a product fault but an issue with your particular installation.
I can see that you did send the item back and a refund was processed on the same day as receiving them.

Great service
Great service. Decent price for a good product. Customer service was on hand when I called explaining my order was a larger size so would be delivered the following day. The courier drove through adverse weather to deliver where the package so I'm a happy customer.

Economic with reality
Ordered some smart radiator valves and found they don't work. Or rather that an extra bit of kit is needed to make them work. You wouldn't think so when they're selling them; the illustration shows your phone communicating directly with the valves. Feel I've been misled.

We are sorry that you are not happy with the product and feel mislead, however the product page does state that at least one gateway is required for these to work.
The image you have stated is for the starter kit which includes a gateway. You purchased two thermostats only and not the starter kit.
We have had no prior contact with yourself but please feel free to raise a return with ourselves if you wish.

Prompt delivery and well packaged
My dual fuel valve arrived quickly and was well packaged. It looks as if it it is good quality. I haven't actually had a chance to test it yet as my bathroom is still being refitted.

Radiator valves, order & return
Ordered radiator valves easily via Valve Kings website, however one set came damaged. Valve Kings sent out a replacement set but only after I had to pay for and send back the faulty ones. Due to the delay in receiving the replacement set, we missed our slot with the plumber.

Ordered the gold radiator valves, delivery was quick arrived with no problems, product looks great, we haven't fitted them yet so can't comment on function at the moment but hopefully will be all good.

Brought a vertical radiator at a cost…
Brought a vertical radiator at a cost of 250 pound, when the Plummer put it in the wall the one section was bent. I emailed on the Monday saying it was not satisfactory to which I was told take a photo of the packaging, I had thrown this away Iv emailed several times of which no reply. The Faulty goods act says that if a product is not as it should be & you notified within 30 days your entitled to a refund.

Unfortunatelly as the pictures provided confirmed and we advised in response to your original email, the radiator had already been fully installed onto your central heating system.
All goods should be fully inspected prior to installation. Despite this we would have still started a claims process if the standard images of the supporting packaging had been provided (in-line with the online returns process) Unfortunatelly all the packaging had also been disposed of so we were unable to start this.
If the goods had been checked on arrival prior to installation then this would have been handled as per our returns T&Cs
Good quality product great service
I am very impressed with the quality and service provided by Valve King. The items arrived very quickly and were very well packed. They were easy to fit and look great. I would certainly purchase from them again.

Product seems good but not sure about…
Product seems good but not sure about the rest. Order was due within 2 days - using APC logistics. It didn’t arrive. Called both APC and Valve Kings on Saturday morning - no answer, but we’re supposed to be open. Called APC again Monday, no answer. Called Valve Kings and CS answered and promised call back - didn’t happen BUT the part did arrive the next day. It could be that the company is good but who knows and I suspect using APC, although cheap, is not doing much for their business.

Many thanks for your review. Having reviewed your order this morning I can see that APC attempted delivery the day after your order on the 6th, but as no one was in the address the delivery was carded with instructions to rearrange the delivery.
Unfortunately we are closed over the weekend and our contact page outlines this information.
We did receive a call on Monday morning and actioned the item to be delivered on the Tuesday and for it to be left safe if not in.

The order was placed at approx 13.45 on Friday 2 weeks ago. The 800 x 800 towel rail arrived, in Scotland, the following morning, at about 11AM. Absolutely incredible, I'll be back when I need something else.
