Mooie dekbedden en zeer tevreden tot nu toe

Twee dekbedden besteld (19 maart 2026) en de volgende dag geleverd gekregen. Hele mooie dekbedden en tot nu toe zeer tevreden. Telefonisch zeer vriendelijk te woord gestaan. Over hoe de dekbedden na het wassen zullen zijn, kan ik nog geen mening geven omdat ik de dekbedden net 1 dag in mijn bezit heb.

Geweldig dat het dekbed zo goed bevalt en dat u onze service als prettig heeft ervaren. We vinden het belangrijk om vragen – bijvoorbeeld over het wassen – snel en duidelijk te beantwoorden, dus heel mooi om te horen dat dit zo is overgekomen.

"I sell synthetic products and make returns as difficult as possible!"

If you value clear product descriptions, honest photos, and fair return conditions, I strongly recommend being very cautious before purchasing from this shop.
⚠️I ordered a down duvet expecting a natural sleeping product because the product specification emphasizes natural filling (down and feathers) and uses the term "micropercal" for the cover fabric, which commonly refers to a cotton-based percale weave and does not clearly indicate a fully synthetic material.
⚠️ The product photos on the website present a voluminous, fluffy duvet, while the actual item looks dramatically different in thickness and appearance.

So, in practice, I received a very thin, flat duvet with a fully synthetic microfiber cover.

⚠️The return process was equally disappointing. Returning the item costs almost 17% of the product price, which is excessive, especially when the return is caused by misleading product presentation.
⚠️The seller does not include a return label in the shipment and shifts the full burden of return logistics and costs to the customer. Any attempt to question this is met with defensive explanations rather than customer-oriented solutions.
⚠️Throughout the communication, the seller focused on justifying their policies instead of acknowledging the customer experience. I was even told that leaving a review would be "unnecessary", which speaks volumes about their attitude toward feedback.
"I sell synthetic products and make returns as difficult as possible" - that would be a far more honest slogan to place prominently on the website of the seller, Valking Beddengoed.

📌Update: After this review was published, the seller continued to contact me privately in an attempt to persuade me to remove it. Instead of addressing the issues raised, this communication further worsened the situation. In this correspondence, the seller explicitly acknowledged that some product images on their website are AI-generated, without any clear disclosure of this fact to customers. Presenting physical products using AI-generated images without proper labelling constitutes a clear example of providing misleading information about the product.

We regret to see that you have chosen to portray our company in a negative light with a 1-star review on Trustpilot, WebwinkelKeur and Google, especially since we believe the review to be unjustified. We would like to clarify a number of points:

Product photos
Our product photos are partly our own and partly AI-generated, as is common practice among many manufacturers today. Unfortunately, it is never possible to accurately convey online how a product actually feels or looks. That is why we always advise customers who want certainty about the product to view it in the shop first.

Material – micropercale
The term “micropercale” may be unfamiliar to some customers. This product is made entirely of polyester, as clearly stated in the product description and in the product specifications of the duvet. Customers could have asked about this; we would have been happy to explain it in detail.

Return costs
Our return costs are at the customer's expense, as clearly stated in our return policy. We offer a return label for €7.95, as this is the actual shipping cost. You have chosen to arrange a label yourself through another courier, which is of course your prerogative. The aforementioned ‘17% return costs’ is a skewed picture, as this percentage depends on the product price and, with a label costing £7.95 for a small order, can even be much higher. We would also like to emphasise that we cannot recover the original shipping costs to the customer.

Second chance for the product
We hope to be able to sell the returned product as a second chance item, which is sustainable and better for the environment. In the event of a return, we as the seller are always the loser, not the customer.

In short, we advise you to read the product information and shipping conditions carefully before placing an order. We understand that this may not correspond with previous experiences with other manufacturers, but we act transparently and in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Onze producten worden met zorg behandeld en rechtstreeks vanuit onze locatie geleverd. We nodigen u uit om onze beddengoedcollectie zelf te ervaren en hopen dat u tevreden zult zijn met de kwaliteit.

Er word gratis retourneren beloofd

Er word beloofd dat er zonder opgave van reden geretourneerd mag worden.
Maar reageren helaas niet op een retouraanvraag.
Ook de chat blijft onbeantwoord.
Nadat ik ze na lang bellen toch een keer te spreken kreeg, werd er beloofd om het retouradres op de mail te zetten.
Wat ze dan vervolgens jammer genoeg nooit doen.

na het plaatsen van dit schrijven dan toch het retour adres per mail ontvangen.
er is nog hoop...
