Yes more poor communication by Valliant
I contacted Vaillant in February for a service and to say I had a leaking boiler. They said I should have had a service in January and so my warranty was invalidated. The sum of £160 was required to retain the warranty. I was told they don’t send reminders about servicing. This week I received an important reminder to get my boiler serviced. They must benefit when services reminders are sent late. I decided I would have better treatment if I used a local plumber. The leak was due to a failed diverter installed 3 years ago by Valliant. The plumber contacted Valliant to say it was only 3 years old but Valliant weren’t interested.

Wir haben die Vaillant-Heizung Anfang Dezember 2025 in Betrieb genommen und seitdem ist es leider eine durchgehend enttäuschende Erfahrung. Rückblickend war der Kauf ein klarer Fehler, und ich kann das System aktuell nicht empfehlen.
App/Bedienung: Die App wirkt unausgereift und unpraktisch. Bei uns wird z.B. die Temperatur im Heizungsraum angezeigt statt die relevante Raumtemperatur im Haus. Auf Nachfrage hiess es sinngemäss: „Das ist halt so“ und lässt sich nicht ändern. Für ein modernes Heizsystem ist das enttäuschend.
Betriebsdaten (Stand heute): Laut Gerät/Regler stehen bereits 1536 Betriebsstunden und 589 Ein-/Aus-Zyklen zu Buche. Zur Einordnung: 3 Monate à 24 Stunden sind 2160 Stunden. Das heisst, die Heizung lief seit der Inbetriebnahme rund 71% der gesamten Zeit – aus Kundensicht wirkt das, als würde sie praktisch permanent laufen. Das erscheint weder effizient noch beruhigend, gerade bei einer Anlage, die erst wenige Monate in Betrieb ist.
Qualität/Zuverlässigkeit: Bereits nach kurzer Zeit war ein Heizelement defekt. Bei einem Neugerät ist das schlicht nicht akzeptabel.
Service/Abwicklung: Besonders frustrierend ist die Ersatzteilabwicklung: Uns wurde gesagt, das Ersatzteil sei vor 3 Wochen an unseren Sanitär/Installateur versendet worden – bis heute ist dort nichts eingetroffen (Stand: heute). Kommunikation, Transparenz und Tempo empfinden wir als sehr schwach.
Fazit: Insgesamt erleben wir Vaillant aktuell als Kombination aus schwacher Software, enttäuschender Zuverlässigkeit und schleppender Serviceabwicklung. Zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt würden wir keine Vaillant-Heizung mehr kaufen und können sie niemandem guten Gewissens empfehlen.
Your service provider in Turkey is rubbish.
Your Turkish distributor and service provider is a complete disaster when it comes to customer satisfaction. It is unprofessional and based entirely on greed. I definitely cannot get a quality service. Even for products under warranty, they charge you for the service. Your distributor is completely destroying the brand value.
Ein Stern ist noch zuviel
Ein Stern ist noch zuviel, meine Arostor VWL BM 200/5, wurde innerhalb von 4 Jahren 2 mal komplett getauscht, wobei die jetzige auch schon wieder defekt ist, seit Jahren schreibe ich immer mal wieder Mails an Vaillant, neuerdings bekomme ich sogar Eingangsbestätigungen, aber das war es dann auch, ich glaube die trauen sich nicht zu Antworten weil die Qualität so schlecht ist, vielleicht sollte man das mal an die Presse oder Fernsehen geben.

Onze Vaillant cv ketel uit eind 2011 heeft er jarenlang voor gezorgd dat wij via de ingebouwde boiler en onze keukenmengkraan, plastic deeltjes hebben binnengekregen van een pijpje uit het boilergedeelte dat aan het vergaan was. Wij dachten steeds dat het kalk was. Dat pijpje is vervangen voor een rvs buis. Maar het ergste, Vaillant wist ervan!!!!! Hoeveel ketels in Nederland hebben dit mankement??? En zijn houden hun mond dus hierover!

Call centre friendly and efficient , arranged a call out for the next day.Everyone I spoke to in the call centre had great customer service.

The service man that came to my flat was rude with a massive attitude problem.
Really wasn't at all helpful , I told the call centre where he could park , he called me and was barking at me down the phone.
This company is let down by this 'gentleman's' attitude towards his customers.

I wish there was an option to give 0 stars here. If you have a choice and boiler, I would suggest you go with anything other than Vaillant. Their customer service is abysmal. My boiler is 6 months old; it stopped heating water on Thursday. As it was still under warranty, we called Valliant. The earliest they could a technician out was Saturday, which would have been acceptable if they actually showed up. They didn't. Called first thing Monday morning to reschedule and was able to secure an appointment for Monday afternoon. The technician did not show up again. When I called Vaillant, it appeared he had "cancelled." So had to reschedule again, this time for Tuesday. So, I am going on 6 days with no hot water . . . and still no technician.

Engineer Condemned my boiler, he said one thing to me and then went back to the office and put in sludge buildup, they advised on a powerflush which i paid to get done, then they turn around and said we will not send out a engineer to complete the service/repair and left me high and dry, the warranty comes from domestic and general, never use Valliant again, their warranties are useless, and they have got it wrong this time and can prove it, they said the heat exchange is blocked, why am i getting hotwater and heating??
Vaillant aroTHERM VWL
We have a Vaillant aroTHERM VWL 55/3 A 230V heat pump that is now four years old. Unfortunately, the system has failed three times during this period, each time leaving us without heating or cooling for extended periods – and Vaillant’s service team has been unable to resolve the issues.
This is despite having a valid maintenance contract and regular professional servicing. For a brand positioned as premium, the product has proven to be highly unreliable.
To make matters worse, customer support has been slow, difficult to reach, and far from proactive.
In hindsight, we regret not choosing another manufacturer, such as Hitachi, which appears to offer more dependable systems and significantly better support.

Vaillant warranties arent worth the paper they are written on. They try to wriggle their way out of call outs. I am a heating engineer and found that they come up with excuses like manufacturers handbook not seen on site, water quality low, part too expensive to repair and have refunded premiums paid rather than deal with expensive parts like heat exchangers. I deal with multiple manufacturers and found Vaillant to be the worst for fixing things under warranty. In many cases these boilers have been fixed with simply fitting new parts and other engineers have not agreed with the diagnosis provided by their own staff. Engineers seem to be given too many jobs in one day to allow for enough time to thoroughly diagnose a problem and to fix.

Boiler ELECTRICS failed to START after 3 months and vaillant have purposely made every fake excuse only to want to charge £180 to attend and maybe repair the boiler under warranty. The service is fake, product fake, as it does not function as it should .their call center makes you hold for hours on end only to try everything to scam you take all your details AND MAKE FALSE PROMISES THAT A MANAGER WILL CALL AND WHO NEVER DOES.
It was an expensive mistake to buy their rubbish product.

I am being harassed by their computer system. Over the last 2 years I have received many many texts telling me that I should be booking a service for my boiler. In Feb 2024 I sent a message asking them to stop as I had had my boiler serviced by an independent engineer for the previous 2 years. I received a message telling me they would update their records. They didn't. I got more texts. I rang and was told that they WOULD and HAD updated my records. This year I have, so far, had 7 messages from them telling me to book a service. Texting 'STOP' (as instructed in the text) has no effect. One message says 'This chat will now be closed due to no response' but I have been sent 2 more texts since then. This morning I rang and spoke to a Customer Service agent who said she had taken all of my contact details off my record. At 14.30 I was sent yet another text telling me to phone for a service
You can't send a complaint by email - the form on the site doesn't work!
The phone system sends me round and round in a loop so that it is almost impossible to speak to anyone. Anyway, they close the office at 3.30pm.

Was given two email addresses to request full access to my account both were returned undelivered. Why is it so difficult to get hold of the right people in Valliant to help me? Still no success.

Seit 22 Dezember 2024 funktioniert unsere Heizung nicht mehr, wir bekamen bereits 2 Termine zur Reparatur die aber jedesmal abgesagt wurden von der Firma weil das Ersatzteil noch nicht da ist! Nächster Termin 8.1.25...also insgesamt 18 Tage ohne Heizung....im Winter....
