I wouldn’t even give this company one star as they took my money for flights to which were cancelled then I found out they didn’t even book our seats anyway, so I’m trying to get my refund also I am emailing everyday but I’m getting no response from anyone even from the reply they gave before on my last message I am not getting any joy from this company what so ever. 😡

If I could give 0 stars, I would. COMPLETE SCAM. Be warned - do not book with TravelGenio.

My experience: Booking # 18701712. We booked roundtrip flights from NYC to Dubai for a date in September 2021 and paid in full upon reserving the tickets. Unfortunately, we had to request a date change for our trip that was postponed. TravelGenio assured us that we could just pay an extra "small fee" of $119 to make it an "open ticket" so that we can change to the new dates once we selected them. They assured us by booking the open ticket that we would have no issues when we would book the new dates and would not incur any additional fees. LIES! When we tried to schedule the new dates, we were told by TravelGenio that we would have to pay an additional $798 Euros each to have the new flights (this is what we each paid for the original fights we booked, not including the extra fee we paid to make it an "open ticket" to avoid this type of nonsense!!!)

Every time I called to speak to a representative, I was left on hold waiting for 1 hour. Finally when someone would answer, they could never help and they would refuse to allow me to speak to a manager who could help me answer the questions they were unable to answer (they would say "We cannot transfer you to a manager they do not accept calls".... WHAT kind of customer service is that?!) I was hung up on by one of the rude representatives after I waited for 1 hour to speak with someone. The "managers" only communicate with you via email, and of course never provide a solution either.

Very unsatisfactory experience. Would NEVER use this company again, and I will NEVER recommend it to others. I will be contacting my attorney to file suit against TravelGenio. I will also report this company everywhere and file a complaint against this company and its terrible scamming "business practices". In fact, I will be sure to inform others of the SCAM they are running every opportunity I have publicly to do so in order to help save some other innocent traveler from the same experience. I wish I had been warned before spending almost $2,000 here!

I want to change both my departure date and arrival dates on my ticket and have been laboring for days for travelgenio agents to contact me ,have sent dozen of mails but no response and I can’t change the dates myself from BRITISH AIRWAYS because they said only the agency can change booking dates ..now I don’t think I can even make the departure date I mailed them about I think I will just settle for a new departure date which is 5th of AUGUST 2022 and return date back to the UK should be 15th .. my booking id 21248827 , I need an agent to contact me now now please

I booked a plane ticket from Phoenix to Calgary on Travelgenio. The price was really good. I then needed to change the return ticket date. I tried to go through the website and fill out the change request form but after 5 days had not received a reply. I searched online and found a customer service number, and called it. There was very little wait time, and the agent was able to help me change my ticket. I got my new ticket almost immediately. It was very smooth and I am very satisfied.
