SENTIA Spirits founder Professor David Nutt has been a pioneering force in psychopharmacology for over thirty years. He has published more than 500 original research papers and 34 books on a wealth of topics in psychiatry—from his early work in sleep studies to his better-known interventions in drug policy and the study of addiction.

Even though the product may be a tiny bit relaxing, it doesn't even come close to producing even a little buzz, I am sorry to say.
As someone that has given up alcohol completely, I was very hopeful that Sentia could give me the experience of alcohol without the horrible hangovers. No cigar.

Individual variances: Your GABA system is very much your own, and individual chemistry varies from person to person, so the experience of SENTIA will vary too.
Alcohol in system: Regular alcohol drinkers may have a high tolerance to GABA release, which will moderate the SENTIA experience. Studies suggest that you can reset your tolerance to GABA release by refraining from drinking for 2 to 3 weeks.
SSRI’s: (Selective Serotonin Inhibitors) anti-psychotics, tranquillisers and some epileptic medications may inhibit the effects of SENTIA.
Expectations: SENTIA is not designed to get you “drunk”, but offer a more refined experience. All feelings are of course very subjective, and will vary from person to person.
Context: There is a great deal of scientific evidence indicating that drinking (or talking any mind altering substance) alone creates a very different effect from doing so socially. The science suggests the same will be true with SENTIA.

Brought it to Thanksgiving. Everybody loved it. The taste was great and put everybody in a nice relaxed mood. The red was most popular. Gold was my personal favorite.

Unique flavors and mouth-feel
I enjoyed the unique flavors and mouth-feel. For the Gold and Black, I added lime juice. The Red I preferred over ice with a splash of water.

Not to say that this wouldn't work…
Not to say that this wouldn't work with someone else it's just something that didn't work for me. I didn't really get anything out of it even when I doubled it. The Red has a very strong ginger taste if you don't mind that, go for it.

SENTIA's effect is only similar to alcohol in that it enhances sociability and relaxation. It will not feel exactly like alcohol. SENTIA only stimulates the GABA receptors in the brain which is the first neurotransmitter to be stimulated when drinking alcohol. So SENTIA will therefore feel a bit like the first alcoholic drink you have.

Still not delivered
Still not delivered. This is second shipment. First one lost in transit although veho insists it was in their warehouse. I will wait until Wednesday and if it’s not route to Trenton I will be demanding refund. No movement on product since oct 17. Again warehouse is 30 minutes from Trenton!!!!!

Not having Sentia before, the website gave very detailed descriptions of each of the drinks and it met my expectations perfectly. The bottle did not take long to arrive to my door. I would buy another product from this company.
