Super customer service. Rachelle at the corporate office is very helpful as well as everybody at the counter. Thanks for making it so easy to rent a car.

They charge 3x what they quote. Car was unroadworthy.
We waited well over an hour in their office to get this car, advertised at $99 for three days on booking.com. They charged us $270 for the car (they added $87 CDW (which my bank covers and I told them this), and $60 for a "$1M liability cover") plus a SunPass (we were told tolls were $25 each). One of the tires went down almost fully every 4 hours. I spent over $12 pumping this up. The engine warning light was on the whole time. We called to complain about the tire but were told the office was closed due to a hurricane. So we were supposed to drive an unroadworthy car in high winds and rain.
Everything from the pickup at the…
Everything from the pickup at the airport to when we dropped off the car (2 days early) was awful. We rented the car in Orlando, FL. Their location was completely disorganized, and took way too long. They wanted over $600 for one week of insurance! I had to call my insurance agent for my policy number. Then when we dropped off the car, I couldn’t understand anything because he spoke Spanish, and I don’t. Rent from a known company. This was a terrible experience.
Cheap for a reason
Rented in Charlotte, NC. I booked with Easirent because it was much cheaper than any of the onsite airport rental companies. Any money I saved, I paid for in convenience and customer service. My confirmation email/voucher for the car said to call the free shuttle at the airport when ready to be picked up. I called over and over and no one answered, so I still ended up having to take an Uber to the site. Upon arrival and checking in, we still waited an additional 1.5 hours before getting the car. Thankfully, the car was in excellent condition once it was finally ready and we had a great experience with it. But then dropping off, I was running behind and they had a mailbox out front labeled "key drop." Since I'd had no instructions about dropping off and was in a hurry, I dropped the keys in here, thinking this is what I was supposed to do. I asked at the desk to be sure and was (rudely) informed this was only for after hours and asked over and over why I would do that. I understand I was the one who made the mistake here, but it was a harmless mistake and one that was easily fixed. The attitude and treating me like I'm stupid was totally uncalled for. I won't be renting from here again.
Overcharged for vehicle on an upgrade
Overcharged for vehicle on an upgrade. Do your research before you rent from this place! Not knowing what my wife had already paid thru Expedia I upgraded to a larger vehicle and assumed the price for upgrade was reasonable. After finding out today what my wife paid thru Expedia I felt very taken advantage of by this company. Stick to the major rental car companies if you don’t want to get taken advantage of like I did and end up paying $1300+ for a 5 day car rental!!! You live and learn and I just learned a few lessons. 1 make sure whoever handle the initial rental handle any upgrade process if needed. 2 never use Easirent again. 3 read reviews before you deal with any company you are unfamiliar with. As you can see by the reviews on TP, had I done these 3 things I wouldn’t have been screwed over like I have been.
Avoid this company at MCO
Flight was delayed and their office closed at 10pm. Went the next day only to be told they didn’t have a car for us but they could get one for double the price we had agreed.
Refused their shameless attempt at extortion and rented a car from a reputable company.
Easirent's pricing through Orbitz was a fraud
Easirent's pricing through Orbitz was a complete fraud. For one, I was forced to buy their collision insurance because I didn't have a complete copy of my personal policy--seriously? I have rented cars for years and no car rental company has ever required more than my proof of insurance card. Then, I was up-charged nearly double for dropoff at a separate location. My car was furnished with both rear tires very low on air, below 20 psi, and the low tire pressure warning flashing and could not have been missed by Easirent's service personnel. The line at the counter guaranteed another extremely long wait since it was hopelessly understaffed so I limped the car to a filling station just to continue my trip. I will NEVER consider Easirent as an option again.

Reserved car in USA for pickup in Dublin. 1 hr wait for pickup van, which never arrived, had to take Uber.
Rental rate more than doubled at counter,
rented with Eurocar.
Avoid
Easirent charged me twice for the same rental
Clean up their accounting process. There were bank receipts all over one of their tables at the Charlotte location with no order at all. They cannot track the overpayment for this reason. I just want my $295.00 back.
Poor customer service!
Poor customer service!! My flight got delayed and they won’t give me my prepaid rental car!! Terrible ladies working with them they hung up in me twice!
First they didn’t pick up my phone and later they were like they can’t do anything as they are closing!
Booked a car
Booked a car. RSW airport closed due to Hurricane Ian so could not pick up car. Company will not refund money. Will not answer phone. Horrible company. Go to Budget, they are awesome!
DO NOT RENT
On September 9th, we were two hours from departing for our trip to Ireland. Their Dublin office called to inform us that they no longer had a vehicle for us. We needed an automatic and that is why i booked in March!!!!! I was told there was nothing they could do and suggested we just show up at the airport and try to find something. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I spent the next hour frantically trying to find my own car rental. Luckily Budget was nice enough to rent us one but at a cost of $1160. Our rental with was $280. So if you can do the math....we were forced to pay 4 times the amount for a vehicle because their Ireland office cancelled us.
Have tried multiple times to contact customer service with no reply.
The worlds worst rental car company.
I will start by saying this was the worst car rental experience I've ever had.
I will start with the vehicle itself, the passenger rear view mirror was cracked, it was missing a hub cap and it had damage on the rear bumper that I'm sure the Fort Lauderdale Florida branch/office is going to try to charge me for. And as for the non smoking policy they have, the windows all have that smokers haze build up on them. I'm just grateful I didn't have to do to much driving in it and try to see through these things. And lastly, the key fob was an interesting issue. Two days into the rental, the key fob stopped working and it's battery went dead. With the battery dead I could handle unlocking the doors with the key not a huge inconvenience but not something I should have to deal with. Though the major issue became the car would start but wouldn't stay running because of the dead battery in the key fob. So I tried calling the Fort Lauderdale Easirent to get the car fixed, serviced and/or replaced because I was on vacation and needed to get the issue rectified. It took my wife and I nearly 2 hours of multiple calls, multiple disconnections, and 2 hang ups on their part to finally talk to a person, who ended up being no real help in the end. With the issue, the person told me to call Honda Roadside service and they would take care of the situation. Two things here on this point, one, it's not my job to do your job. Two, as of today, one week later, after leaving Honda Roadside a message and a phone number, I'm still waiting to hear back from them. In the end, after viewing several YouTube videos and a trip to the local store, I was fortunate enough to remedy the problem resetting the key fob myself and had a functioning vehicle the rest of my stay in southern Florida. I was also able and took the liberty of cleaning out all of the employees Bluetooth hookups to vehicle, so others like myself might be to hook up their Bluetooth to this vehicle in the future.
After dealing with what issues I had, I will never deal with this company again and will never recommend them to anyone else ever. I gave them a 1 star rating because I couldn't give them anything lower.
Easirent Car Hire in Orlando
Car Hire in Orlando. Do not use Easirent. Cost more than using on airport. Bullied into buying their collision damage waiver, even though already bought in UK. Refused to accept I was covered and told me couldn't have a car if I didn't pay. As no budget to rent anywhere else, had to pay.
Then Express toll, said I didn't need it, hardly used tolls and paid cash. He got angry and said couldn't do that anymore, had to have exact change or extra 25dollars on top of toll. When I argued it wasn't a problem he again started bullying me saying they didn't have people manning tolls. As not been for 3 years I didn't know any different. So paid that too. First toll we came to realised he had lied. Only went through 3 tolls the whole trip. So I call them thieves and liars.
Still waiting for 250 dollar refundable deposit, I was told I would get by end of day I dropped it off. That's 4 days ago. Going to contact Direct Cars who I made the booking through.
Also took 3 attempts to get the right sized car. It was scratched all over the place. I took pictures. Then 2 days before return got warning that tyre pressure low in one tyre. Topped it up, but also noticed 1 tyre was practically bald, told them it would have been illegal in the UK. Before we went to airport saw same car come back less than 10 minutes of taking away, appeared to ? Been washed. Same tyre still on the car.
Given a wrecked car-Miami
Rented a car from them in Miami. Pulled up to the car rental place and there were stray cats everywhere. I also was forced to take their car insurance (unexpected cost). I was then given a car with several dents in it. When I called to complain about the dents and to see if I could get a discount or something the lady told me that because I knew about them I had to basically accept it. I explained to her that I was in a hurry and had some place to be and that at the time there were no other cars for the worker to give me (he tried giving me one car first, but it needed maintenance). Needless to say, I will NOT be using Easirent again. For my next trip I’m trying Turo. Much better cars for less than the beat up Easirent cars.

I never write reviews but they got me so angry.Do not rent a car from the company. A month after my rental they charged my credit card for a unpaid tolls that I didn’t do. I returned the car day earlier that I was supposed to. After that they rented the car to someone else but charged me for the tolls that they did. I called them and they say I have to email the fines department. I did that but never received any response.
Stay awayyyyy!!!!

I had a very positive experience with Easirent Dallas. The rental and return was quick, easy and their employee, Shaquille Jobe was very helpful.

I rented a car in Charlotte for my son’s wedding. The car had less than a half tank of gas and I soon discovered it had a leaky tire. I had no time to go back to the agency and they declined to exchange the car at my location for me, so I bought an air pump, went to gas stations 3 times to fill with air, and Ubered all weekend. The air nozzle caps were missing as well. My brother from Washington state also rented from them, however his plane landed late and they were closed at 6pm so he lost his entire $400.00 rental fee and had to rent from another company. Be careful!
Look at how many 1 star reviews!!!!!
I will be passing this experience on to the UK advertising agency and informing kayak and the like, of the danger of advertising hire car rates that do not exist. I'm in the process of informing the Sunday Times about your company that had a section on spurious hire car companies in last weekends edition. Your Liverpool office is disgusting.
Consistent reviews talking about Easirent insurance scams!!!! AVOID AVOID this company.

"Absolutely abysmal. They would not honour the price I was given online and had booked through Carjet! The staff were rude and aggressive..... when one turned up! I was told to ring Carjet if I had a problem with them not honouring the booked price. They insisted I had to take out their full excess insurance even though I have a stand alone policy. They wanted to charge £30 for using a debit card even though they would not take the £1500 security on a dedit card. Booked online price with Carjet, all inclusive was £128.18. Easirent Liverpool price for driving the booked car away £184.99.. Total scam, avoid like the plague. I walked away from these cowboys and got a car from Arnold Clark, car and van hire, located further down the road, they were brilliant unlike Easirent crooks. "

I returned the car 21 days ago and they didn’t return my deposit of 500 dollars. No one respondes for my claims. I have a lot of money and time going to the place, but without any achievement. On the other hand, the bank did charge me that amount and charge me interest for me.
STAY AWAY!
STAY AWAY!! I made several attempts throughout the day calling to speak to a customer service representative at the branch...to inquire about drop-off and shuttle service back to the airport. Once I finally got someone on the phone, I spoke to "Steve" who was working at approx 3pm 8/11/2022 at the Tampa branch. Steve lacks professionalism and took it personal when I expressed my concern about multiple phone calls to the branch with no person answering the phone. He was rude and said "we are busy", he also did not answer all of my question in reference to speaking with a manager at that location. I wanted to express my concern about communication from customer to business. I DO HAVE THEIR VEHICLE.... He also told me there are "no branch managers" for that location. Clearly that's not true, I hopped online and saw that their was through linkedin. He was very confrontational, rude, and unprofessional. I went online to find the corporate office information and found a phone number. I called, and that phone number also had no pick up....it just rang and rang like the local branch office. This is not a company to use, if you have any issues you will not be able to get it resolved over the phone. My experience with this company is the WORST I've ever experience for renting a car. Also, if you do use them.....EXAMINE your vehicle!!! My vehicle had front bumper damage at the bottom of the bumper(bad enough that it needs to be replaced) and back bumper......STAY AWAY!
