This app was CRAP! I got the app downloaded. Went to the gas station they told me to, got the promo code....not once but 4 times. It would NEVER let me add my credit card. There's even a place to take a picture of it. Ask a friend and my son to try, still NO LUCK. Keep your penny a gallon rebate, you're more trouble than you're worth!!!!

I created an account yesterday with the upside app ,
went to the assigned gas station, I should have known,
never trust voice actors , they never reveal their identity, I never got rewarded for my first fill up. all they want is your payment method.

Can you get money back using this app . . . yes
Then why the low rating, because you as the user have to do all the work. Over 50% of the time, I have to come back and provide information to Upside to get my money. Always an excuse, they'll say it is the vendor, or still need a copy of the receipt. Even told me that my receipt was not good because did not show the last 4 digits of the card, but then approved the same purchase 4 days later. Not sure the $1 here and there is worth my time to prove them that their app and vendors stink. Should change name to Downside.

This is a bait and switch..they offer you one refund then give you another. They offered me 25c a gal then paid me 15c. All they would say is the offer wasn't available when I made the purchase. But that's not what the app said. Anyways I'm deleting this crap and going to qt from now on.

Horrible company to have to deal with they don’t have phone number just a damnd computer response.
I was buying gas thought I would buy a stereo from Amazon when I get enough had $151 until I woke up with an email saying enjoy your ace hardware gift card.
Well reported to upside that I didn’t authorize them to cash out to ace hardware.
Don’t trust this company there isn’t enough savings to begin with and you can’t get hold of a real person for help.

I claimed an offer 60/gallon 3 times and then gave me $6.25 for them 3 times I don't even want that I'm deleting somebody should sue them for false advertising and no help

I’ve spent almost a month trying to get the money I earned back. When I got a new phone, the money I had saved was gone. I got emails from the company responding to my issue but apparently they don’t have access to my account at their end. They wanted me to find emails from them or where I had sent referrals (I never did). They seem to close out the ticket if you don’t respond within a few days as resolved, it seems. I finally deleted their app. You may have better luck.

The price of gas on the app isn't close to the pump price at the station.upside gave a price of 3.93 but the stations pump price was 4.65.cant trust the app to find the best price or even the correct price

This app is a rip off most of the time they say my receipts are processing turn around and say they’re expired. I would not recommend for anybody to get this app. I’m fixing to do away with it. I drive for a living. I’m a delivery driver get gas every day if not every other day, or maybe four or five times so I would not recommend this app to anybody that I have on record

More and more offers expire. What I find most interesting is no feedback from Upside on any of these complaints or positive feedbacks. That only proves to me that they could care less about the users.

My wife has this. It's basically screwed her out of everything. Thought I'd see for myself. Claimed a offer for $.45 back a gallon. Soon as I checked the app, their processing $.04 a gallon. If this is true, lawsuit for false advertising. Contact a firm before I even done it. We'll see.

This app is trash. I had accumulated $30 or so in my account, one day it vanished. Contacted the company, did everything they said, no $ returned. Opened new account, had $7 next day opened app, now it's gone. Again contacted company, no resolution. I'm only out rebate dollars so really no big deal but I've stopped using any of the companies that subscribe to the app for reimbursement and deleted the app. Told everyone I know to cash out and delete

No - absolutely no avenue to contact customer service. I have been cheated out of cash back and even bonuses and have no way to even ask anyone questions, let alone get any assistance.

Upside is a waste of time . no cash back . they just want your credit card and personal info.

AVOID: SCAM cashback & referrals. Undisclosed hidden criteria to deny/blocks upon redeeming cashback are placed which allows company to mine more data.

FALSE promise of future cashback (lower price) by paying HIGHER gas prices upfront ON selective gas stations vs. costco or sams.

SKIP and stick to upfront prices, these cashback have MANY hidden rules/changes. Often deny and/or blocking accounts including not honoring referrals.

2 times in a row at same 7-11 in gainesville virginia app had one price and station had higher price...should have gone to station nearer with NO app...cheaper both times...

What other words are there to pronounce besides great and amazing! You literally spend money on fuel and food and build up money on the back end and save for the future run in! We don’t have to go through college to be a rocket scientist to comprehend this. Download the app expeditiously.

Have a real CS department not a fake BOT?? I attempted to cash out and my money disappeared while I was in the middle of the action. No validation of what happened no CS to email or call. Should be an investigation by Better Business.

I have used this app for about 3 years now. I like it except for 1 thing. In recent months it reduces the amount of cash back I am supposed to receive if I get a regular customer discount with the company I am purchasing from. So I can never gauge my savings accurately now. It's very frustrating.
