Contacted them about their pricing structure and gym locations....
Emailed them a year ago, twice and no reply!
Emailed them last week, twice and no reply!
The email is legit but they could not be bothered to reply.
Not even a "Sorry, we will get back to you shortly"
Would take seconds to answer but even that was asking too much.
First impressions count and this impression sucked!

I’ve been a member at this gym for just over a year. I’ve never stuck to a gym for more than a few months. The coaches are excellent and encourage and challenge you without making you feel uncomfortable. Mainly older members and everyone is very welcoming and friendly. Also do a great deal for local charities, organise social events etc, best thing I’ve done joining this gym, I’m definitely fitter and stronger thank I was 12 months ago

My experience with Universal Fitness UK Festival Park & Telford was disappointing. While I completed all tasks on time and followed instructions, communication became increasingly poor,questions were discouraged, messages were often ignored, and there was little clarity around expectations.

Payment was a consistent issue, requiring repeated follow-ups to be paid for completed work. The situation ultimately escalated without giving me a fair chance to respond, and I was removed and blocked before outstanding matters were resolved.

I am still awaiting payment for my final week. Overall, the experience felt unprofessional, with a lack of communication, accountability, and fairness.

This gym is completely different from everywhere else I’ve tried. Aimed at an older clientele, there is a hugely supportive atmosphere, where no one cares what you look like/are wearing but everyone cares about YOU. The programme offers a structured approach with variety and flexibility so you don’t get bored, and the knowledgeable coaches are on hand in and out of the gym to provide support every step of the way. Give it a go - what have you got to lose?

Best thing I’ve done is join UF, and 18 months down the line I’m reaping the benefits of that decision.
Approaching 60 yrs old, and feeling the effects of weight gain due to lack activity and a sedentary job, it was time to do something about my health.
So 21 kgs lighter, loads more energy, strength and flexibility it’s knocked years off me, and it’s all down to UF and the fantastic staff.
It’s small group training with a personal training touch, supportive staff and family vibe with all the other members motivating each other it’s a fantastic gym.
If you’re thinking about your health and fitness you’d be crazy not join UF, so go on make that change now.
