I was looking for a tool that I needed to borrow to update my house. The representative on the phone told me that she could not tell me whether they had the tool or not until I gave my full name, address and phone number. Of course, when I get there in person and locate the tool, I will provide this information, but it is absurd to ask for it when I ask if they have this tool or not. Another lie to customers and collecting personal information for nothing.

This car company charged me £420 for turning up late due to flight delays and then another £762 for undisclosed charges when I returned to UK. RIP off company, stay away from them.

My company rented a telehandler from united. The parking brake does not work properly. The tires shake so bad it’s like riding on a flat. I put in a service request and a mechanic came and looked at it about 2 months ago. He stated that he was gonna order brake shoes for the parking brake and recommended new tires because these are worn out. I have not heard a single word since. I also found out that instead of air, they fill the tires with foam. As a result when it’s parked it gets a flat spot on the tires. Meanwhile I have to ride around on it all day and get beat to death

After completing a rental through the website, I received a call informing me that there was actually a waiting list. I then called to rent a different tool that met my needs, and the transaction went through successfully.

Later, I called again to confirm the exact delivery time, only to be told—again—that there was a waiting list. I explained that this was very upsetting, especially since I had spoken with someone by phone and was assured that my reservation was confirmed. In response, the person on the line told me to "watch your language"—even though I had not used inappropriate language, just expressed frustration.

I genuinely cannot recall being treated with such disrespect by a reputable company.

To make matters worse, I’ve already been charged, despite being told there’s a waiting list. This is unacceptable.

After 1 days, right out rigger failed poor maintenance and 7 days later until fixed. Tuesday at noon of following week finally fixed. Used on Tuesday evening, wed and thursday a total of 3 and a half days but had rent for 1 week at a cost of 2300 for a week. Fri morning come down and took the backhoe but never contacted me. The backhoe just vanished This company is very inconsiderate and does respect it costumers. I will never do business with them again.

We had a couple companies in mind to help with the right equipment of tools needed, due to the situation we were in, getting those tools were not easy or cheap.
But some magical how, United rentals stepped in and was able to save my company’s position in a contract costing around 238 million, from being demolished.
I know my boss is extremely knowledgeable and has connections but if not for United rentals this would have never happen and the jobs contract would have never got completed.
Not only did they give us the best offer but also gave us a much faster response time as well as delivery on the equipment rented.

They do not perform services as advertised called for service on customer and equipment was told they would be there the next Monday no-show call that week was told they would be here Monday Tuesday of this week. No show called again was told we don’t do service is on customer owned equipment, false advertising Derek was very rude

this place will just rip you off if you need any landscape equipment. Renter Beware. go to LF Geroge, area rentals, bobcat plus. Any other place then them. I returned my piece of equipment on day 4 after a week rental, and they gave me no credit back. in fact it was 5 dollars. these other places i listed you wont have the headache. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE RIP OFF OVERLY CHARGED SCUM.

My personal experience reserving equipment from UNITED RENTAL was amazing! I worked with Alesha Franklin in sales (and briefly spoke to Elizabeth and Olivia-they were helpful as well). Alesha was professional, extremely informative, helpful, detail oriented, as well as assisting me in my equipment goals. I had researched other companies for the same equipment and they were a few dollars less, however Alesha explained the differences in what UNITED RENTALS offered versus the other companies. That being said, I moved forward with the reservation and it gave me a peace of mind. UNITED RENTALS was the best choice for my company initiatives. Thank you Alesha for your assistance with a successful equipment rental.

Earlier this summer I rented an air compressor for my cottage. The machine was the kind you tow with your car or truck. WOW!!! I never saw such heavy duty POWER from any other machine. This compressor did the job beautifully, and as far as I'm concerned the rent was money well spent!! Way to go, United Rentals! Thanks again!

Best staff I ever worked with and a great trailer. Rented a hydraulic trailer. Assisted me with hook-ups, safety, and demonstrated how it worked. When I dropped it off they were great. United rental in Tyler off the 323.

We ordered a hot water high pressure machine, the machine was delivered before the weekend and when we set up to run it on the weekend the burner wont come on at all so no hot water. We called their support who appears to be some guy in India and they cant help us , ended up wasting several hours with our crew standing around on overtime to find out we cant get our job done. Then after calling and talking with the manager and being told that they wont charge us, they are still trying to charge our card. Terrible way to treat customers!

The staff are efficient and friendly. Make sure to check that what your renting works before you leave the yard. It will save you time when going back to return it
