Expertise, work ethic, and friendly service.
Our install had a number of very tricky aspects, which Justin and Toby overcame with professional ease.
Their employees were courteous, clean, highly organised and professional.
I have no hesitation in recommending United Heating.
We have micro pipes emanating from the skirting boards feeding our radiators. United Heating's engineers did a beautiful job of connecting to these without causing any damage to the skirting boards.
Then toward the end of the install a fault was discovered in the supplied heat pump. When the supplier's engineer came to repair that fault the next day he was, as a fellow professional, highly complimentary about the quality of work delivered by United Heating. Once fixed, United Heating quickly returned to complete the install.
Well done chaps. A complex job delivered with precision and a smile.

Terrible Experience with United Heating – Avoid If You Value Professionalism or Reliability

United Heating were sent to replace our air source heat pump. Since the installation, we have been left without hot water for over 5 days. Our household includes a disabled person, a full-time carer, and four young children under 11, yet the engineer, Toby, left our home without checking the system was working.

Despite the urgent situation, they repeatedly tried to resolve the issue over video calls, which is completely unacceptable for such a serious heating fault. When I clearly explained our vulnerable situation and said I would escalate the matter if they didn’t attend by 10am, I received an aggressive and dismissive reply from the engineer:

> “Do not threaten me. And it doesn’t matter who you got in your house, I would still come out to look at the issue regardless.”

When I questioned whether video calls were an appropriate way to handle such a serious fault, he responded:

> “Yes of course we do, that’s completely normal, we are 3 hours away.”

This kind of careless and disrespectful attitude is shocking, especially when vulnerable people are involved. We have been left to cope without hot water, with no urgency, no responsibility, and no compassion from United Heating.

Absolutely disgraceful service — we will be reporting this to the council and appropriate authorities. Do not trust this company with your home.

I called in this company to locate and rectify a leak on my heating pipework, which is buried in a concrete floor. The engineers who arrived were fully equipped with thermal imaging equipment and were able to locate the leak point within an hour. After digging up a small area of floor, the leak point was confirmed and fixed. Everything that had been disturbed was restored and all debris removed. A first class job by professionals, all over in 4 hours. I have used this company before to replace a boiler and will use them again for any heating work.

All the United Heating staff were knowledgable, hard working, kept their workspace clean, clearly worked to a very high standard and were polite. If you are facing a retrofit for an air source heat pump these are the guys to get you through the installation and commissioning of the system. They represented CB Heating who designed the system with diligence and expertise.

Brilliant job by Toby and Conner. Replacement boiler. Quotes given and options explained. Work booked in and completed quickly, and punctually! Also given reassurance that any further help or information was available at the end of the phone. Would recommend. Genuine and trustworthy. Will definitely be asking them to do more work again. I have had a few boiler’s fitted in my time and this is the best engineers to carry out this task. Toby and his team were on time very professional throughout the process. Clean, tidy and I would highly recommend Toby and his team.

The guys from united heating fitted my boiler just over a year ago, and did a great job. Just had them back to service it recently. Excellent service, they were very polite and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

I ordered a boiler through Heatable and they contracted United Heating to install the unit. The installation was carried out by Tobias while my wife was home and I was at work. As soon as I came home I went straight upstairs to see the work and was truly amazed, it was all much greater than I expected. All the horrible old leaky pipework was ripped out and replaced with new organized piping. Looking at all the work from the piping to the flue and boiler itself, everything was noticeably installed by a master fitter who pays great attention to detail and makes sure the job is done right. Tobias arrived promptly (which was a good start having been let down many times by others in the past) and completed the install in one working day even leaving me a little video, recorded by my wife, talking me through all the features and explaining everything I needed to know.
I will be keeping his number on file for all future concerns regarding pluming as once you find a trusted fitter, you stick with them!

We had a Viesmann boiler installed yesterday by George , he was excellent professional and friendly . He arrived on time and did a very good job . He cleared up afterwards and took our old boiler away . He also provided a contact number for any post installation questions . We would recommend United Heating to anyone.

Toby and Justin had already done a great job for me in my old house last year, so when I moved recently I called on them again to upgrade the (ancient!) boiler in the new house. There was also a gas leak in a pipe that was buried under the concrete floor which needed to be fixed.

Toby explained the options for laying a new pipe to replace the old one, and I chose the option to cut a new channel in the concrete floor through the living room.

On the day, Toby, Justin, and Connor turned up and got stuck in right away. Cutting the concrete was noisy, as I expected, but nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be, and they finished it quite quickly.

There was a bunch of problems to be solved along the way (including difficulty in finding space to route water pipes through to the kitchen), and they found sensible solutions to each of them.They also discovered and fixed a leaking underfloor pipe to the bath, and a leaking radiator pipe.

They were very efficient, getting the whole job done in about a day. They tidied up after themselves very well too; once they'd finished there was no sign that just a few hours earlier the carpet had been pulled back and the concrete floor being cut.

Twice I've used United Heating, and twice they have done an excellent job. I have no hesitation in recommending them, and they'll be my first choice for any future work.

Toby, George & Connor have done a fantastic job, removing old fire, boiler, relocating & fitting new boiler. They were tidy, cleaned up after and polite, kept me informed & cracked on with the job. Would recommend to anyone.

Justin from United Heating has just completed a new bathroom and downstairs cloakroom installation for us. Not only is his own work of the highest standard the other trades he uses are also excellent. I would highly recommend these guys for any heating or plumbing work you might require.

Class act, really easy process with a quote and new boiler all being done in the same week.

Toby of Carters was fantastic! When it became clear that sourcing the pump for our 14 year old Ariston boiler was going to be difficult, he went straight to the manufacturers, sorted it andfitted it just in time for Christmas! A brilliant job and very reasonably priced too!

From start to finish, the guys at United Heating were friendly, efficient, and competitively priced. They were able to supply and fit our new combi boiler within two days of agreeing the work, which rescued us from a cold house without hot water.
