As an international applicant for theUnacceptable Silence from International Office - Prospective Student Warning…
As an international applicant for the Foundation Year program, I am extremely disappointed with the complete lack of communication from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
I sent formal emails to both the Welcome Office (welcome[at]uniroma2.it) and the International Students Office (international.students[at]uniroma2.it) on August 24th and 25th regarding the English language requirements for enrollment.
When I received no response, I forwarded my inquiry to the central URP office (relazioni.pubblico[at]uniroma2.it). The central office simply auto-forwarded my email back to the two initial offices that were already ignoring me. To date, I have received zero replies.
While I understand the university was closed for holidays until August 21st, there is no excuse for ignoring prospective international students once the application window has officially opened. If the administration treats applicants this way before they even enroll, I dread to think how they treat enrolled students who actually need support.
I am forced to abandon my application to Tor Vergata and apply to other universities to avoid missing the deadlines. Highly disorganized and unprofessional communication.
