The service was very good. Helpful, fast and friendly correspondence. Only downside was the cost that was a bit high. I understand the quick and reliable service means higher cost but not sure the charge was needed.

Started renewal application on a Monday. The online application including import of digital photo from photo booth was flawless. I posted my old passport at 1400 on Monday - received my new passport at 1100 Thursday (within 3 days!) The old passport was received just 2 days later. Emails providing updates at all stages. Brilliant service which numerous other organisations would do well to learn from!

On December 3rd I applied to renew my passport before expiration in February 2024. The new blue passport arrived today, 10 days start to finish with daily text updates. Such an excellent service and a travel document costing £87.50 and with 10 years duration.Many other government departments would do well to study the work of our national passport office.

Received my new passport within 3 days of completing the online application. Texts and emails received during the whole process. Absolutely brilliant service. Thank you.

Living abroad makes passports renewals more tricky and stressful than needs be and being in a situation where my husband and I couldn't be without a passport for the time frames stated for renewals - and reportedly longer - so we started to explore other options! We discovered the UK Renewal Service through the British Passport Office and although to begin with the process sounded so simple I thought it was a scam. Although a big cost, the staff were super attentive to ALL of my many queries and we were absolutely amazed with the service and how smoothly everything went. We simply submitted scans of our passport pages and new passport photos, paid the fee, our collection appointments were booked as requested and we literally took less than 3 minutes to get our new passports at our collection appointment from time of entering the Offices!! Worth every penny of the fee and we would highly recommend this service to anyone needing to urgently renew their passport and to anyone wanting to take the easiest route possible! Thank you so much - we'll be in touch for our renewals in 10 years time for sure!!

I have to write about the experience I received when renewing my passport both from the Passport Office and Redditch Post Office - excellent service.
I needed a new passport photo so decided to renew my passport at Redditch Post Office instead of online. I hadn't realise I needed an appointment at the Post Office to renew but the counter assistant pleasantly obliged. He took the photo, completed the form, I paid the money.

I received several text messages and emails from the Passport Office confirming my application was going through, the passport had been printed and despatched. I received my new passport NINE DAYS LATER - incredible service. Well done Redditch Post Office and British Passport Office excellent service and customer service, I'm very impressed, thank you

Great customer service, easy to use system

I was surprised this was all done via what’s app, this made it so handy and gave a feeling of being in control at all times. I was communicating to Ahmed and felt he was really trying to help me. Within a day I had completed the process and things were under way, when I felt I needed an update it was simple to send a message and immediately got a reply. Very happy with this ;)

Only problem I had was when it came to pay the horrific price charged,!!!! it wouldn’t except my card details ? So you had to phone me to pay over the phone after many attempts.

This has to be the easiest process, to obtain any GVT document, from my personal experience. It was simple, to the point and extremely professional. My wife's Mexican passport was pretty simple and to the point, however, this procedure was incredible. I know my case was somewhat complicated, I just needed to be patient, while all the verifications were being done to confirm all the information that was requested and required. On a 1-10 id give the entire process an 11.

UTTER SHAMBLES !!! misleading information on website. I paid for fast track £160 heard nothing !
on contacting informed there was no record of application-probable payment issue. checked payment taken-no issues. Contacted again, 15 mins later, yes you have an appointment for tomorrow ,there had been no contact whatsoever ! I had to cancel and pay a £30 administration fee for their incompetence !!! I am out of pocket - £30 cash and many, many hours of stress/frustration. SCAMMERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sent passport 4.9.'23 via GPO to be renewed (WELL ahead of time as needed for January '24 - better safe than sorry!). Friend saw picture taken in Max Spielman booth and said might not be good enough! Wasn't worried as had heaps of time - I thought!
Meantime family in Finland asked us to go there beginning October! Totally forgot I'd no passport, booked holiday!
Panicked and called Passport Office. Gave details and asked if I should cancel everything and do a super quick deal involving all day going to Glasgow! 'Tom' dealt with me calmly, efficiently and said - 'can't promise but suggest you hang in there'.
I called Max Spielman too to check on photo. They called me back and said totally fine!
Passport Office updated me almost every other day and it arrived exactly when they said it would! FANTASTIC service and would love to thank Tom. He made an old lady very happy!

Absolutely fantastic service, applied using the standard online service, they turned round my application in seven working days with constant updating of progress via emails and texts, delighted and amazed at the speed and efficiency of this service, thank you passport people !

The accessibility of the whole application process was so much easier. I have neurological problems and usually find official documents difficult to understand and complete. Great work I hope this model will be used for everything.
